Peppard seems a diva with Mr T not far behind , but he seemed to redeem himself later in life .

If you ever happen to capture The A Team, don’t ever lock them in a barn filled with random vehicles, tools, machinery and assorted useful materials 👌🏻

I have a mint condition action figure of the character "Face" still in it's blister card package.
I got it for 80 cents at the ARC thrift store back in 1996.
    Still have it😊

The A-Team remains one of my fave 1980s TV series. Its said that the series was created specifically for Mr. T and he was paid $80,000.00 per episode.
Col. John Hannibal Smith, Amy Allen, B. A. Baracus & Gen. Hunt Stockwell (from Season 5).
Amy was definitely easier on the eyes than Tawnia Baker. Its arguable if Ms. Culea had 'bad blood' with George Peppard, as Stephen J. Cannell & Frank Lupo created the series and characters. Its said a reason Amy was eventually written off was that Melinda Culea wanted to be in more action oriented roles, given she's a reporter that would've been very difficult to do; a potential story might have been to have Amy kidnapped to draw out The A-Team to a showdown.
Another one of Mike Post's memorable TV themes was for The Rockford Files.
I still have the first A-Team novel and a the 3 issue Marvel Comics miniseries. A missed chance was to have The A-Team cross paths with G. I. Joe.
As for the violence seen, it wasn't different from that seen in other shows like The Six Million Dollar Man; in that series, Lee Majors himself requested that the show be family oriented without any violence as well.
Too bad The A-Team never crossed paths with MacGyver as well.

I was 8 or so when it premiered. Dad and I would count how many cars flipped over each episode.

You're right, but his death was deliberately off screen. 'Bull' Fulbright hammed up his great death scene on screen, and it's great.

I watched it for a few weeks and got tired of it because it was too unbelievable between nobody ever getting hurt and them using thin tin as armor all the time.

The "A-Team" Movie wasn't bad because of too much violence and people dying. It was bad because it had a stupid plot and stupid premises.
The TV series could get away with that, but if you're going to make a 2 hour movie, audiences expect more.

The movie was crap the van was destroyed in the first half hour of the movie what's the point me and my roommate went Nah and turned it off. Point being the van is as much a character as the cast.
