Fun obscure fact: While working for campus police & taking classes for a criminal justice degree, a few of my classmates & I started a chapter of the national criminal justice fraternity, Lambda Alpha Epsilon. This was a most excellent movie having a fantastic cast. None better than Burt Reynolds. the only thing I did not like was the narrator. Jim, as he usually does, lied about the character. he was portraying the same kind of character he played on the show, with the job being shifted from fire marshal to detective. and Tone Loc as the biggest star in the movie then? nope! he was four years removed from those songs being hit: his only ones, BTW. Sean Young was actually the biggest star then and Courtney Cox wasn’t too far off either(she had been rising for several years by then).

I loved how The Penguin floated backward like some creepy demon. 😂

My favorite scene was when they opened the water valves on the dam! When the water was coming they shook the camera for effect! If there was no CGI I wonder how they managed to release that much water. It hitum so hard it washedum into the next area code!!😁😋
