Porky's was truly the funniest movie I have ever seen. Even after watching it multiple times, I am still rolling on the floor laughing my guts out. Why can't movies today be like that?

I was fortunate to have my father living in Miami Beach at the time and the exterior shots for Angel Beach High were all shot at the elementary school less than 200 yards from his apartment. I wasn’t there for the filming of Porkys, but was for Porkys 2 in the summer of 1982. It was one of the coolest things to see 1982 Miami Beach transformed to the 50s for two weeks with all the cars lined up on the surrounding streets. Watching the steps for filming and some of the actual filming was really an eye opening experience to see a glimpse of how movies were made. I was 18 at the time.
The gym scene with the howling into the shower scene with the teacher into the principals office discussing the lineup was the funniest consecutive scenes i can ever remember. One of my all time fave movies.
Because of the success of Porky's, Bob Clark was given the green light to work on a passion project that studios didn't want to make: A Christmas Story.

The scene with gym teacher trying to describe the appendage poking through the hole in the wall, I laughed so much I couldn't breathe, what a way to go.
The 2nd movie wasn't that bad. Some funny stuff. The gym scene with the KKK. The restaurant scene with the fake vomit. "Boy! Sure tastes better going down". The third movie was directed by James Komack (produced "Welcome Back, Kotter"). That movie was painful to watch. It sucked so bad.
Porkey’s ? Oh my God there’s a flashback. But I swear never ever in my life have I laughed so hard the first time watching the scene with Ballbreaker and the Principal and a wee wee line up. Hahahahaaa memories.

How about this... I went to HS with Nancy's daughter. We had drama class together at North Hollywood HS.
