    Another important note on nico is he has shown he can mature and improve on weaknesses. Early on he was offside on every other run, he's very rarely offside now. Early on he was getting cards for dissent every other game, and he hasn't gotten one in weeks now. I like Nico Jackson

      Chelsea should sign Osimhen, Olise and Maignan. Mudryk, Jackson and Noni are great attacking options. We should put Nkunku left winger, Osimhen nr 9, Cole palmer 10 and Olise right winger. Here we have olise that can interchange with palmer and nkunku is used to playing central aswell. This means players can play multiple positions and there is many combinations to have with Jackson, Mudryk and Noni as great options to have from the bench or start some games.

    Jackson has struggled to score when the whole team was struggling to score. Therefore the pressure on such a young and experienced forward has made it difficult for him to flourish. Now since the whole team has been contributing, and relieving the pressure on him, he looks much more comfortable in front of goal. He is improving all the time, and you can also see that he cares about the team as well. Worth backing for me, either up front or in the right channel if we can buy a proven goalscorer. Letś hope Nkunku can find some fitness too. This team is growing at pace now, letś allow those who have given their all to get here have the chance to move us further forward next season. Come on the Blues.

    Idk why people blame a Jackson when he misses or something like if players like Haland never miss. He is not Haland ofc but the thing is that for his age he is showing a lot, most important he is showing desire to score even tho that sometimes leads to him being selfish, but besides that I see him more of a support forward beacause he brings a lot to the table, he is quick, technical, trickster, great talent all around . Having said that we seriously need at least one more player in that position of similar level, bit better or worse doesnt matter. Main issues is there is no real competition for that spot.

  • @df4291
    @df4291 24 дня назад +2

    I understand he's had a decent season, but I'm still not sold on Jackson. He's too inconsistent, makes poor decisions in the box, and wastes too many solid chances. And you can't compare his goal tally to that of Havertz, Saka or Palmer as none of those players are out and out strikers... I'm also not sold on the notion that had he made more of those sitters, that Chelsea still wouldn't have secured European football by now as opposed to fighting for it with three games left. We've had nine draws this season, tied for second highest in the current top half of the table. Nabbing just two more of those for the win column would put us above Spurs on GD in fifth place.
    We're on a bit of a high right now with the Spurs and West Ham results, but we can't forget that one of the defining themes this season has been just how wasteful Chelsea have been in front of goal. And Jackson has a lot to do with that. I for one am definitely interested in how he finishes out the season. It's kind of an insane thing to say it doesn't matter, George, because it definitely does. I think it will say a lot about his mentality if he can maintain his current form in these crucial matchups ahead. Because consistency has not been his strong suit this season, and to counteract that narrative over the next three games may change a lot of hearts and minds, including perhaps some of those on the Chelsea board.
    On the other hand, I can't say I'm keen to see Chelsea drop another massive amount of money for a AAA striker that may or may not fall flat on their face in the Prem, as so many Chelsea nines before them have. Lukaku was also supposedly an elite, proven goal scorer from Serie A and so far Chelsea have paid about $15m per goal for that bit of business.
    My take, since you asked, is let's see how Jackson finishes out the season.

  • @angangogoi8356

    We don't need any new attacker/midfielder. Jackson for his first season in PL has done pretty well, better than all the big money signings like Morata, Lukaku, etc. We should have learned our lesson about signing big money attackers. Our main focus should be a CB and a Goalkeeper maybe. We need a true leader in defence who can organise our defence and is not prone to making mistakes. Bringing in more expensive attacking talent will only stunt the growth of current players, he will need time for chemistry as well, and we as a fan base are not patient. I like the Palmer-Jackson chemistry. We should still let Jackson lead the line, he is pretty good at holding the ball and his dribbling is pretty good as well. Nkunku, Jackson, Madueke and Palmer should be our attackers. Relegate Mudryk to the bench, I have seen enough of him, he can only play at a particular pace like Werner, doesn't offer anything else.

Not worried about scoring as much as D. We need a better line & goal. Spend the $$ there - another top defender and poach a keeper like Matt Turner from Forrest. Those ties (esp Burnley & Sheff) turn into wins and losses turn into ties. We’re back in Europe and the top 4 again.

Often this season we've needed someone to come on but had nobody. With the injury rates in recent seasons, better safe than sorry. One player shouldn't bloat the squad.

    I think one of the biggest mistakes we can make in this coming transfer window is overreact to a half-decent run of form by Jackson to end the season. I think there is a player in him, but that player might not be a striker. You can say 13 open play goals is decent, but he's gotten so much service that if he was a decent striker he would have legitimately double as many goals. 3 of those goals also came in a 25-min stretch against a side that was down 2 players, and Poch correctly said after the game that he should've had 2 hat tricks instead of one. There are only 3 goals he scored where I said "That's a striker's goal"... his 2nd one against West Ham the other day, the one in the 6-0 battering of Everton, and the one in our 4-1 win vs Burnley. All the others were sitters that there was no way he could miss (even though he still found a way to miss plenty of those this season). Is it possible the finishing will get better? Yes, but I don't think we can afford to take that risk and not bring in a proven striker because of it. I can see that being the reason we don't get top 4 next season. I agree that it doesn't have to be Osimhen, but as I keep saying, let's bring in Vlahovic. I think he would absolutely cook with all the service we'd provide him, he'd cost possibly only half of what Osimhen would, and unlike Jackson last season and also Sesko who we're linked to he's proven so we wouldn't be signing him for just his potential

  • @podgerman
    @podgerman 24 дня назад

    Id say sell sterling, loan Mudryk to a decent club to get play time and develop.
    Spend big money on a top left winger and buy Sesko for a striker.
    You mentioned in another video that they are both young and need to develop so it wouldn't be as ideal but having two young players compete for the starting place may benefit both. Jackson doesn't really have any competition at striker, Palmer and Nkunku can play there but its definitely not eithers best position. Alternating them also will keep them both fresher and means they have less pressure on them. Jackson could also sub on for left wing or striker if Sesko starts.
    Also, with his price its not a massive gamble, if he doesn't perform could sell him in 2/3 years and still get a fair price as he is still young. Sesko is also good in the air as well.

We should then leave Mydrk on the LW for him to expoilt the space or switch the ball to the right wing and use Chilwell as his replacement in case. We can then RW to fight for space with Madueke and Palmer and Nkunku manage the CAM depending on the game. And Nicholas Jackson and David Fofana(The way he press is amazing) for the front. And other part remain the same. My only question is what do we use Enzo for. We can use him as a converted LCM/holding LB spot so he can switch play faster from deep, but I know he is amazing at controlling from the opponent box
