Poch has gotten two accurate decisions right with Cucurela. He also played him as a right back when the lost both Malo and James to injury. He was defensively outstanding playing that position too.

Before getting Poch in, people were saying he's good at developing young players and that was the main reason people wanted him since the majority of our squad are young and inexperienced. Icl I was one of them too, but when he came in lets be honest there wasn't much improvement. if anything, we were going backwards. But I guess all he needed was time and consistency. Heopfully when the other players start coming back from injury he doens't keep changing the starting 11 for no reason when we know it works. If we get European football next season, maybe unpopular opinion, I think he should stay. He really has developed some players and its clear to see there's confidence, even though its a bit late now, and the players still trust him. I dont think there's any point changing managaers again just to start from square 1 again.

I thought Cuccerella was one of the worst Chelsea buys over the past 2 years, but moving him into the DM role along with Caceido has made a big difference. He is no Kante, but he is deserving of his position in the starting line up. I am not sure why it took so long to find out where he can be an asset but now he is. The question now is that Chelsea have a glut of players in that position, most of them coming back from injury. It is also telling that Chelsea have performed much better without Fernandez, who would be better in Serie A or La Liga than the Premiership.
