- If you like elaborate and unpredictable journey's to the grave, then you'll love this full movie reaction to Final Destination 2!
In my opinion, THIS movie had the most generational trauma than any other horror movie in history. So many fears that people have in life is due to this movie.
The Truck...
The water bottles
Garbage disposals
Barbed wire fences
PVC pipe that is cracked
Elevator doors
The most underrated of the series, but the one that everyone remembers because of that one damn truck. lol
This series left me with a host of irrational fears SMH. They have never featured a vacuum accident, but I still fear that someway somehow the vacuum is going to combust and strangle me -_- LOLOLOL
OMG the water bottles in the car is another thing I get anxious about hahahahaha Love that we can all trauma bond over this movie
There were no lies made in this statement
Yep. You're 100% right on that one.
I was actually devastated when Clear died. 🥺 But the novelization of the movie states that Clear actually feels a strange sort of relief as she dies. She's lived the past year in constant terror and paranoia. Her last thoughts are at least the fear and fighting is over. Pretty interesting. She wasn't really living being locked up and afraid anyway. I was still sad to see her go. 🙁
It also changed the dynamic of any future movie, in which we know the hero never dies. With Clear being dead, nobody is safe and keeps the audience guessing.
@@AneudiD78 Yup. I immediately stopped expecting anyone to survive the movies at all. Plus I was kinda bitter and didn't even care if Kimberly or Officer Burke survived after losing Clear.
"An extra wing on the plate." OH. MY. GOD. That is one of your funniest lines yet!!!!
"She left her daughter motherless for a Ford Focus?"
I don't know why this made me laugh so hard 😂
That had me cracking up and when she sanged the theme song to That’s so Raven
“If you can gaze into the future… life is not a breeze I’m out here struggling” girl I’m hollering 😂 glad to see you doing well🥰🥰
"Y'all are kind of hot together...you should explore that." Pleaseee not the foreshadowing 😂😂
You really hit us with the classic Tommy Pickles "sponserbileries" 😂
The lead up to Evan's death was hysterically prophetic. Loved the magnetic letters on the fridge that said "HEY E" until the H fell into his noodles leaving the letters to spell "EYE" 👁
How did I not realize that after seeing this the day it hit BlockBuster for rental lol. Thanks for this 😂
Add on top of the irony is that the doll in the hallway had only one eye.
More genius foreshadowing!
There’s a bunch of foreshadowing before his death. There’s a lot of focus of “luck” in this movie, Evan being the lucky lottery winner. The pileup of cars in the hallway near the eyeless baby doll, the cooking oil he used had a black cat on it, his horse shoe ring, there’s a car in a different room of his apartment that looks just like his and it’s facing a demonic statue, the brand of chicken strips he was making was in reference to a fire. There’s a lot for one character 😭
And the H fell into noodles… hinting at the noodles that would cause his undoing
Actually the water bottle is very realistic! One day I was driving and I had a water bottle on in the car. The next thing I know, something fell in the car and I went to pick it up but now the water bottle went missing.
When I tried to brake. I notice the car wasn’t coming to a full stop and I had to exert much more force. Then it happened again and I thought something was wrong with my car. I come to find out that the WATER BOTTLE was lodge directly behind the brake! Just like this movie. It was truly a nightmare come to life lol.
Never again
They way you just casually nicknamed Death's Design as "D.D.", now I'm trying not to imagine D.D. from Dexter's Laboratory just being her casual, destructive self but just accidentally killing people along the way just like her brother's lab 🤣😂😭...
Screaming 😂
Really naturally cunning on Alana's part lmaooo
At least that’s what you think of. My girlfriend’s name is D’Metria but her nickname is DeDe lol
As Bob as my witness, it's those trucks that carry gravel that are scarier than the log trucks. All it takes is one flying pebble to set you back a couple hundred for a new windshield 😭
Fun fact: the institution where Clear is staying is the same hospital where they filmed Laurie’s scenes in Halloween Resurrection.
Dang thanks for this! Had no idea
And the name on the fire department truck at the farm is Lake view, the name of the crystal lake high school in Friday the 13th part VIII: Jason Takes Manhattan.
Everyone always talk about the wood truck, as they should, but that the water bottle slipping under the brake pedal always stuck with me as well. Fast forward to it actually happening to me, and it's just as traumatizing as I imagined 🤣😂😭...
ARE U OK???!
I love that you personified the death entity “DD” 😂
Dee dee or diddy😂
This movie is responsible on why so many people don’t drive behind log trucks and even I myself avoid them every time I see one. This movie is a great sequel better than the original especially in the kills. Pretty sad our lovely survivor died she was being smart and was living up until these newbies came into her life. The fact they killed off our mc from the last movie offscreen as well is so disrespectful but death pretty much wins.
yea i had to drive outta town recently and any log truck i’m behind im driving hella slow
I drove behind one two weeks ago
30 ft away
No, it isn’t. This movie didn’t trigger common sense in people. Common sense is why you don’t. You watching this as a child having no sense of driving safety and realizing that doesn’t make it responsible for why most people know better.
As someone from the UK I'm happy to say we don't have log trucks never seen any because we don't chop down lots of nature
@@Hey_JamieIt really wasn't common sense. Before this movie, many people expected log trucks to have secure logs (obviously, thats how theyre meant to be) and never thought much of it, but after this movie the log truck scene is always at the back of everyone's minds. So even on a busy motorway where you have no choice but to drive behind one, everyone still stays a good 30 ft behind, try to switch to the farthest lane, or just exit the motorway altogether 😭😭😭. Another example is the vaccum kill, is it mildly unreasonable and paranoid? Yes, but I know so many people who are now hypervigilant when using vaccums and pretty much anything else because of these movies.
The log truck scene really has traumatised us all 🤣
Death really killed Alex with a brick, DD was like "you tried to capitalize but i caught you"
“We got him, we got him 😌”
What's crazy about these movies is that the characters are all interlinked with each other in some way or another. Which again points to the themes of the series. Every action or inaction. It doesn't matter what you do. In the end, they're still going to die.
For example, had Billy not died, Officer Burke would had died in his place. Or Kat being on the very bus that ran over Terry. Had Kimberly not seen the news about Tod's death, she would had died instead of her mother. Its really messed up when you think about it!
My personal theory to why the "rules" & "justification" for Death doing this changes all the time between movies is because it's not about fixing some grand design. It's a game where they change up the rules & strategy every time.
Let's say there are two entities. One is the God of Life, the other the God of Death. Much like God & Lucifer's bet on Job to play with Job's faithfulness, they play a game to play with Humanity's desire to survive. Death creates a significant scenario that would warrant a decent amount of people to die (plane crash, highway pileup, rollercoaster derailing, racetrack crash, bridge collapse, etc.). Then Life picks who will be the final victim (the Prophet), and allows them the chance to see exactly how they will all die and what order (also sends them hints prior, explaining Alex & Kimberly's room full of foreshoadowing). Death gets a point for every time he takes a life (with extra points if the death gets more nonsensical), Life gets a point for every person skipped in the order. Life is allowed to send visions and clues to the Prophet, and the game goes until all the people are dead. Sometimes they start new games while still playing old ones (which explains how Alex & Clear's deaths overlap with the Route 23 game), Death tried to cheat sometimes: with the bathtub death (hence cleaning up the puddle so Alex would believe it could be possible Tod did kill himself), and another one I don't wanna bring up cause Alanda hasn't seen FD4. Sometimes they change the order to shake things up. William Bludworth has been confirmed to not be Death incarnate, so my theory is that he's actually Life instead. Life doesn't have to be a good being, cause well......life sucks. Life takes the form of a coroner or mortician because he finds the irony hilarious.
You'd love Brandon Sanderson's Cosmere series
It’s 6am in the UK Alanda, and I’m struggling to sleep but seeing this has definitely made me so excited to have insomnia 😂 Thank you so much for you reactions, my love! Your videos and amazing quick wit have helped me through some of the hardest times this past year, mwah ❤️🥰
Literally doing the same thing 🤭🤭
Alanda has fans all over the world no doubt. I've been watching this at 7 am in Berlin, Germany.
*fist bump* Another UK Alanda fan here (Coventry, West Midlands).
This movie unlocked so many new fears and phobias for me as a kid. 😵💫
I hope you get to react to Paranormal Activity: The Marked Ones, it's sort of a spinoff but it still ties to the first one and it's one of the best ones imo. 👀
Agreed!! Marked Ones is definitely the scariest and ties a lot of things together
It started as a spin-off but is officially considered the fifth film
The movie that birthed the phobia of driving near logging trucks for millions lol
Yes...I click sooooo fast when my notification popped up...yeeeeees...my girl Alanda is back!!! I'm ready toget into it!!! Love you!!!❤
I'm gonna say it, this one probably has the best characters out of all the FD movies. The first film had a solid cast but I feel like we hardly got to see them interact as a group, and the characters in the later films were just 1-D insufferable assholes most of the time. I love the fact in this movie we get to see these complete strangers forced into a situation where they have to mingle and learn to tolerate each other even though their personalities are so different from each other. Also justice for the high camp cigarette smoking professional, she deserved better than a pipe through the head
FD2 has THE best premonition scene out of all the Final Destination movies. Overall there are other better movies as a whole in the series. But the highway accident alone is top tier😎💕
This reminds me of the time I found Wikipedia's article "List of Unusual Deaths". The early ones were macabre fun - Greek philosophers laughing themselves to death and stuff - but then we got to the modern freak accidents and it left me with a fear of basically everything
There used to be a show on MTV I think called 1,000 Ways to Die. It didn't unlock any fears, but it did show me that there are some ridiculous ways to go haha.
'She's wasn't a fighter, she was a FOOL' Also, I've had the same thought over the years about Justina's photo when the cop looks it up - it looks like she's gonna faint.
alanda deserves 100k already ❤ she brings so much joy
Long overdue
Omg Alanda you just blew my mind! This is my favorite Final Destination movie, and I used to watch Living Single back when it was on cause I'm old. But I NEVER made that connection somehow. Currently reevaluating my life and pop culture knowledge!
Kimberly actually made things WORSE. Not only did everybody she saved die anyway but A PILE-UP STILL HAPPENED. SO a whole bunch of other people who weren't even supposed to die died too lol
Not to mention she ended up making all the grisly deaths a self fulfilling prophecy with her terrible warnings. A couple of them wouldn't have been as bad or long lasting had she not intervened
Girl you and me literally thinking the same when I start driving...since five things to be aware of that I won't do 1-Don't ever drive behind near a truck log
2- Don't ignore the sign of danger/death
3-Keep my eyes on the road
4-Wear my seatbelt always
5-Dont have a water bottle near my driving area
When you said new fear unlocked with water bottle, literally me and my Mom when we saw this two decades ago of don't have the water bottle near the driving area, cause boy we drove a lot in the freeway/highway. So laughed my ass off at that part.
Love your reaction on these movie react, cause you giving me such a laugh off with your comments on the scenes.
Nice catch with Noel Fisher! I didnt even recognize it was Mickey Milkovich until you pointed it out for me which made his death at the end that much more shocking for me lmao
After that last scene, I was dying laughing. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. Nah, that's someone's kid. I'll stop.
"Dinner is served." LMFAO
Ugh your mind is so powerful. Alanda, if we don’t see you before the holiday; enjoy your holiday. Immensely excited for whatever is next for the channel.
Finally getting back to Final Destination!! I hope you see the rest. Of course you can skip Final Destination 4 but 3 & 5 are pretty good.
Fun facts:
• The Accident on the highway was based on a real Pile Up that happened on Interstate 75 in Ringgold,GA on March 14th, 2002 with a total of 125 car piled up.
• Originally, Devon Sawa was to reprise his role of Alex Browning in this film, but a dispute concerning his contract with New Line Cinema could not be settled. So the had to write him off.
• Originally they had use real logs for the opening catastrophe, but they didn’t bounce enough for that scare effect, so they used CGI logs.
• The car Evan drives is A 1987 Pontiac FireBird (ironic ain’t it?)
• They were gonna have him die from a flesh eating bacteria but went with the brick instead.
• When Nora tucks Tim in at night, dimming the lights, his face is illuminated with a skull outline, foreshadowing his death.
• There is a myth that when a bird hits your window, somebody you know is going to die.
• Nora's death is based on a real life incident: Dr. Hitoshi Nikaidoh, a surgical resident at a Houston hospital, was decapitated by a malfunctioning elevator in 2002. The doctor's shoulders were pinned by the doors, which then allowed the ceiling to slice off most of his head as the elevator continued to move upwards.
• When Eugene tried to commit suicide with a gun, the gun had six bullets in it, which marked him as the sixth survivor to die.
• According to the book, the fire that kills Clear and Eugene was originally started by a birthday cake.
How do I find and buy the book? Would Amazon sell it??
@@CaramelPrincess1990I’m not quite sure and i tried Amazon but i didn’t see it
Was in the car with my friend once (like, this year), and her water bottle legit fell on the floor near the pedals, but she grabbed it right away (while still driving lmao) and omg, I instantly thought of this movie. The log truck thing doesn't get me. The water bottle thing does.
I died when you called him Kyle Barker I instantly heard his voice in my head 😭😭
All Final Destination films are fun and entertaining but this one is by far my favorite
This was the first one I ever saw and it's still my favorite. That log scene has haunted me ever since lol. Hope you watch the 3rd one! 💕
This movie is why i have ptsd on the highway especially with big trucks. I actually start to shake.
I think my favorite part about this movie is them going the extra mile to use practical effects as much as they could. Almost all of the pile-up scene in the beginning is done practically. They literally closed off a highway and flipped cars around with real drivers inside, and had actual controlled explosions. Almost all the deaths were done practically with the actors, or practically and then layered shots together.
TC Carson, we also know him for being the voice of young Kratos
“You left your daughter motherless all for what? A Ford Focus?“😂😂😂
You are hilarious and cheer me up in every video you do ❤🎉 ❤from 🇬🇧
The water bottle getting stuck under the brakes took me out🤣
Honestly, I don’t know why the log truck ruined everyone’s life so hard, I’m still too terrified of planes because of the first one ☠️ plus i think car-carriers are scarier than the logs
I LOVE this one, I would say it's my second favorite lol
Kimberly can be frustrating sometimes but she's still one of my favorite characters in the franchise, not as big of a fan of Thomas or whatever his name is but he's here too I guess. Just a little funfact about both this movie and myself, when I watched this movie as a kid for some reason I really wanted Clear and Kimberly together. Turns out I'm a lesbian so that probably had something to do with it lmao
Also there's five movies, the fourth is just called "THE Final Destination" for some reason (its also by far the worst imo. hated every character besides like 2)
Super excited for the third movie, its my favorite! I love the two main characters and there's a pair of background characters I also really like, plus I also like the slightly different vibe with all the carnival/celebration stuff going on in it. Overall just a movie I really enjoyed
This is my favourite one, I like how they tie all of their stories in with the original
You're such a joy to watch Alanda! ❤
I shave my head and I still envision my long ponytail being snatched. Trauma.
“not your very own S’ghetti demise!” the funniest shit. Will miss your videos but enjoy your break and Merry Christmas!
Alandas new band: Dee Dee and the receding fluid.
Now available on ITunes.
😂😂😂
Lmao!!!
Your hair looks so cute like that omg love it
Alanda, when the sixth movie is released, i will laugh at the theatre, saying DD constantly. You are a saint.
Can’t wait for you to watch the third movie !!
Apparently, Death had a penchant for comedic timing
“Just because I’m pretty doesn’t mean I know everything” 😂
I wanted to watch this because of AJ Cook (Kimberly) but this shit FREAKS me tf out so your channel is as close as I’m gonna get girl 😆
I understand James Wong directed Final Destination 1 and the late David R. Ellis directed Final Destination 2. One mistake that always bothered me in 2 is when Michael Landes is looking at the photos before coming across the fate of Devon Sawa's character. Look at the image of Chad Donella (Tod from FD 1) and how it's labeled ''before the coroner arrived.'' His hands are grasping at the wire. At the moment of his demise in FD 1, his arms go limp by their respective sides. So, the photo is inaccurate. Would also dispute the argument how Tod was wracked with guilt as his father insisted.
I am fairly new to your channel, but I have been enjoying watching movies with you so thank you 🙏🏼😊. I wanted to suggest a movie, As Above So Below, great watch. Again thank you, you’re great 👋🏼
the cast of this one is sooo good !!
“She left her daughter motherless and for what? A ford focus?” 😭😩🤣I’m deceased ⚰️
OMG YES GIRL PLZ DO ALL OF THESE
Poor Clear, she did not deserve the death she got 😢
that poor girl :(
at least it was quick 🥹
I can't remember my mom's birthday but I'll always remember why I don't drive behind log trucks on the highway.
Such a fun reaction, the first 3 are IT! in the franchise for me at least lol would love for you to continue the paranormal activity world!!!!!
Haha 😂😂 your reaction was funny at the scene with the guy in his apartment 😂😂
This reaction is everything 😂😂❤❤❤❤ every moment is golden I tell you🎉🎉
I was a tomboy for the most part but I had long hair and my mum would put ribbons and barrettes etc in and I’d come home ribbon untied, missing the other one , hair everywhere. And my mum would say I looked like I’d been pulled through a bush backwards. I can make any outfit look scruffy.
This reaction was so fun. Can't wait for part 3, it's my favorite. 4 sucks. 5 is back on the good track.
This and Clueless were the reason I didn’t get on the freeway and just took the streets for a year until I psyched myself up to take the freeway.
Oh!
I have seen all of these movies and I CANNOT WAIT until you discover it.
I am just gonna enjoy watching it unfold right before your eyes.
Enjoy the ride.
And yes, you should continue the paranormal activity series.
Along with the Insidious series.
Love your commentary as always, Alanda. Have a horror movie suggestion for you to watch and comment on: Nurse 3D. It's a really wild one.
Defenetly my favorite movie in this franchise
Seem this movie at the theater back in the day. Multiple sequels and time for a new Final disnation movie. 🎬
What a fun franchise, would be awesome to see more! Love your reaction as always, thank you for sharing ❤
Always love and appreciate the late night uploads 🙌🏼 insomnia kicking my butt 😭❤
only real one's read alanda's description
OOOH Final Destination 3 is SO MUCH FUN! I cannot wait for your reactions!
ugh whenever you post i get so happy. you bring me so much joy ❤️❤️
alanda late night uploads hit different
Every reaction is better than the last! Alanda, you absolutely crack me up. And those bows are SO cute on you!!
32:40 that’s why i love You!!!!!! I said the exact same thing when i first watched this movie. I’m not gone die for not materialistic crap. Now if my self, my family member or innocent person is in trouble, that’s different
Girl please upload more videos 🥺😩 your reactions are so funny, two videos per month is not enough
I still got this movie on VCR tape shit still good "I CONTROL MY LIFE"😂 TC Carson permanence is pure gold
I just wanted to let you know that... I love you and your energy, you make my day (night). 😊
you really are eating those ribbons up!!
this was everything!! for me, the film ends after Kat gets the pipe through her head (my all time favourite death), but i still go back to this movie time and time again. there’s such a mean streak to it, despite its tv movie appearance😁
Yesssss, my fave reactor!
Your videos are like a warm hug from a good friend. 💜
Not the sketti demise lol
I love the ribbons, Alanda! 😍
SO glad you're revisiting the Final Destination series. Definitely one of my fave horror series, though I'm not gonna lie, I'd personally skip the 4th one because it's a dud and literally does nothing to contribute to the overall FD universe. There are a couple of decent kills, but meh... 5 is fantastic, though!!!
Please also continue with the Paranormal Activity series, especially 1-3. They tie together wonderfully well.😁
Olivia Benson and Jane Rizzoli are the only competent cops. Although they're detectives on their shows. I'm sure when they were just regular cops they were great at their jobs, though haha. And Kimberly grew up to be a pretty great FBI agent lmao 🤣
Great Reaction as always AP! You have to react to Cherry Falls 1999 it is amazing underrated late 90s early 2000s slasher film!
Alot of people think the last death was for shock value and I always get sad bc of it. They made it a point to talk about how the survivors of the plane crash, lived and messed up the timeline for other people, then had a survivor of the highway crash, save a boy who otherwise probably would have died. It's a web, it's all connected. I love this series plz finish it, it has one of if not the best ending in a series of horror movies I've ever seen
Wait. I didn't realize the girl who's mom got shot got shot cuz she was fighting over a car. That means she was suppose to die cuz her mom wouldn't let a Ford Focus go.
I absolutely want to see you continue Paranormal Activity, you have to watch at least the first 5. They all tie into each other..
Final Destination is one of my all time favorites, I'm glad you're continuing with these too. 1 & 5 being my favorites.
And yes love, keep on with those ribbons. You were born to be a ribbon girl 😊
Third of final destination is one of my favorite
30:54
ALANDA PARKER: HAS THRE EVER BEEN A USEFUL POLICE OFFICER EVER!! DO YOU KNOW ONE AUDIENCE
me: girl dewey you know that
38:29 she technically would’ve survived if they went with the alternative ending because her having the baby made her escape death
Okay but these movies really were like that’s so raven 🤣
“She left ha daughter for what!? A ford focus??!!” HAD ME WEEAAAAKKKKKK 😭😭😭
Devon Sawa whom played Alex in the first one was actually supposed to come back for this one, but due to a pay disparity, it didn't happen
Love you so much. ❤😘 this movie is the cause of my generations trauma 😂😂 the log scene forever haunts me 21 years later! Such a great sequel and such an iconic franchise. Great reaction 💜😍
