    Juncker: Why are you here?... He's there, because british people voted for him to be there, which leads to the logical question why is Juncker there, no one voted for him?

    • @richardgadol9364
      @richardgadol9364 8 лет назад +187

      And Juncker is a well known Drunkard from many reports from his home nation in Luxembourg and EU diplomats who interacted with him. Many have stated that a typical breakfast for Juncker is cognac and cigarettes. I've seen one yahoo video where he was obviously drunk in front of the cameras stomping on the floor and slapping EU leaders.

      Ignorance is the mother of all evils... if your country had general elections and European elections then people voted for who they wanted in the EU organisations. Simples... need me to type slower? or spell it out for you?

    • @bobby3008bul
      @bobby3008bul 8 лет назад +156

      Antonio Barbosa My country voted for people in the European PARLIAMENT, not in the European Commission - they are not elected by direct democracy (these are two different organizations, so you know). Should I type slower or spell it?

      Bobby Kalaydjiev do you know who chose the Commission or the President? For example?

The EU are now announcing to remaining countries that they are not democratic but autocratic. They are taking what they want by force and forcing remaining nations to stay because they no longer have a democratic choice having relinquished their sovereignty to the EU. The public has presumed that the EU is democratic but no it's not anymore. The previous voting were just to appease those who would think the EU was otherwise. The vote is done, the people spoke, the decision was made, and the only problem, is how immature, and how petty people have been in carrying out brexit, specifically May, who I'm glad is finally out of the way, as seemingly she has done nothing but sabotage brexit, and make it look as bad, and as evil as possible, in the eyes of as many british people as possible. Stop throwing insults and grow up, I mean the worst part is your not even correct on that front, it is wrong to accuse farage of incompetence, and unprofessionalism, when you have all the other members of parliament right there, and a lot of whom, are much worse than him.

    • @Praetore_
      @Praetore_ 5 лет назад +7

      @@juliansanchezharris5773 There is only short term harm from Brexit at worst no matter how you look at it. The pathetic, weak willed, appeaser stances, where we would still be apart of the EU because of remaining in this union or that, is absolutely autism. If we in anyway remain a part of the EU, be it in the custom union or anything else, our country will be seen as weak willed, and it will have failed to properly exit the EU, and that just fact, because all that then would have happened is we would have just lost the right to defend ourselves or even protect ourselves in the first place. A Hard Brexit is factually better than any bad deals, desperately rushing an awful deal serves no purpose, and the fact that anyone would thing any deal is good shows a general lack of knowledge on the subject. Brexit means Brexit, being weak and appeasing the EU does nothing but ruin the UK furthermore than it already has been. But no I am not talking about Immigrants, I am talking about the Economic Migrants who in the last few years as fled from Africa and the Middle East to Europe, mostly with the goal of using us, and a lot with hatred it their heart and crime, or revenge, or simply just war in their mind. Their cultures are the problem, they at their base will never Integrate, and even then it as absolutely abhorrent idea to let so many millions of people pile into European governments when do little of them have any skills, and so little even care for jobs, the media tries it's absolute best to make them look as innocent as possible, but they are just not. There absolutely are some, a minority, who had legitimate causes in the start, but the actual count of real refuges, is I think at most 100,000-300,000? They are the actual refugees we were supposed to be letting in. Honestly, the whole situation is tearing Europe apart and ruining nations. I would not overly say I have any personal biases, but I do just at this point see them for what they all are and that is a leeching cancer who at their base still had intentions to come here and use us, to use people with actual jobs that work legitimately hard, so they can have easy lives, knowing full well because of their skin colours they would be protected from any criticism of any kind, because end of the day, first thing most people do is just scream racist for pointing out any bullshit migrants do. Migrant crime by this point is huge trust me, look at Italy, and Germany, and France, they are the bigger nations and probably by far the worst hit, but then there is Slovenia which only had a couple million people in the first place as well....... Like so, I am more of a realist, and I just go straight with evil is evil, I want them out, they are for the absolute majority, failing to integrate, causing horrific crime, destabilising the region, and at the least being used as cover by terrorist if not helping them, there is no reason at all, absolutely none, to allow any of them even near our nation. End of the day, if Immigration is so vital to economy, then we need to fucking focus on actually filtering people coming into our country, they should have the correct skills, and they should intend to be going to work for x amount of time, minimum of 5 years is best, and then they should be leaving, we have homeless and housing situations as it is and a lot of people to my knowledge in the UK are still jobless, but we're too wrapped up in the mess of what should have been fucking simple to carry out, Brexit should not have been so hard, May created a total fucking mess. I wouldn't really say I've watched or listened to too much of Farage but he does make fair points. And really I mean it doesn't matter where you look, politicians will always use one frustration or another to further themselves and get more clout, the left do it, Tories, labour and all that, they have done it plenty I'm sure. Politicians are politicians and they are naturally slimey, nothing new about Farage and what he does really, well, other than actually doing stuff with bettering the UK in mind, most politicians seem to fail making the UK their actual priority nowadays.
      As for trade deals, and such of a likeness, we would take short term hits absolutely, but thinking short term is not how you run a nation. Long term we are absolutely better of, considering we would be fully in charge of our nation and it's agreements and laws again, and we would no longer be so weak, dependent or reliant on the EU.
      Again to emphasis, the majority of these refugees will never fully integrate, and with them comes more spread of Islam, which of course is the most destructive religion in history, having killed more than two world wars have, over it existence, and easily done more damage, and gone to war more, than any other religion by leaps and miles. Still to this date it causes death and loss and chaos and destruction wherever it goes, it is a flawed religion at its base, and has a particular section of its holy book specifically stating that non believers should die. It is another one of the problems these economic migrants drag with themselves, and again very few of the good few million migrants will actually have any meaningful skill.

I voted to leave the European Union, That's what you call democracy.. & the European had a cheek to ask for another referendum... population in United Kingdom
      67.22 million people.. Turnout 72.2 %.... Rejected ballots 26,033.. Over all statistics 52% 48%..Leave won by 6 %...

      Ridiculous notion. Why would the EU offer him any better? The situation would be the same. The balance of leverage would be the same. :'D
      The UK bluffed and the EU called. In his little speech here he does the same. "It'll be much worse for you than it will be for us.".
      So go ahead then, leave with no deal. Let's see who takes it better.

    • @NLTops
      @NLTops 5 лет назад +1

      @Truesay Mahoney Looks like you're raging. You needed 4 seperate comments to reply? Keep ranting like a buffoon. Here are some subtle counter arguements. My country contributes 3x more per capita than yours. Your GDP is weak and inflated as the banking center of Europe. Have you kept your eye on the prize the past 3 years? :'D We've already been taking jobs from the UK and the money can still flow wherever it wants until Brexit actually happens.
      Sure, you're 16% of our exports. We're 42% of yours. And 50+% of your imports. You also don't have any standing trade-deals, and we just signed an FTA with Japan and Canada. Your trade deal with the US will mean a privatized NHS in exchange for chlorinated chicken and medicine. Go from being an equal partner in one union to a lapdog for another. Then again, you were always the US' lapdog so not much different there.
      You're gonna conquer Europe now will you? And the EU is a dictatorship? Someone's been dreaming of the empire of olde. Come on then, invade away. Let's see how far the Disunited Kingdom gets against the "weak" militairies of Europe. Who knows...we might even take Russia's side for a change.. 0=)
      You're leaving and expecting to keep all the benefits without any of the costs. That's how we mistreated you. By not catering to your senseless onesided demands. You wanted out. Go on. Get out already. No-deal is the default. It's been three years. We're not the ones running scared here. Go on, git.

      @Truesay Mahoney Eh I was at work mate. You know. That thing you do when you wish to contribute to society and benefit from it? You *were* ranting. You wrote 4 comments one after the other because you had to "pile on a little bit more" every time. From your response I can see you havn't read, or havn't considered my counter arguements to your 4 posts and instead chose to ignore them. So clearly the truth has not set in. All the best to you laddeh or lasseh.

    • @NLTops
      @NLTops 5 лет назад +1

      @Truesay Mahoney Oh it doesn't cause a problem for me. Rather it displays how well thought out your arguements are. Not very much at all. It's simply your gut talking.
      You should look up the definition of "per capita". It means the numbers are balanced on population size. For the 2017 budget for example. The UK contributed 11,82% of the budget, whilst being 12% of the EU population. The Netherlands contributed 5,14% of the EU budget whilst being 3.34% of the EU population. So balanced out, we carry almost twice our "weight" whilst you pay slightly less than your actual weight.
      This is because your position in the EU is quite a favourable one and it has made you competitive with the rest of the EU economically. You have used the opt-outs of Schengen, the Euro etc. to compete with the single market. A member only in name.
      For reference, Germany paid 174.53% what the UK paid (almost twice as much) in that same year (20.62% of the budget by Germany to 11,82% of the budget by the UK). This despite only having 126% compared to the UK terms of population. (82 million people to 65 million people).
      Our economy is much stronger than yours, and so is Germany's, and so is France's. And our GDPs aren't inflated as the banking center of Europe. The EU represents aproximately half of the UK's imports AND exports. The UK represents 16% of the EU's exports and only a fraction of EU imports.
      The UK joined the EU in the 70s for their own benefit. Ever since all your colonies gained their independence, your economy had been slowly sinking. Joining the EU was a bandaid to that problem, but the underlying causes have not been remedied. You leaving will weaken us, but it will ruin you.
      Best of luck, shame you're so angry at the rest of us that you're willing to hurt yourselves this much.

    • @NLTops
      @NLTops 5 лет назад +1

      @Truesay Mahoney :'D So you didn't read what I said then huh? Stopped reading after the first paragraph? Honestly, again, look up PER CAPITA numbers. I never said we contributed 3x as much. We contributed half of what you did in 2017. But we are 1/3rd of your population size.
      Germany contributes 75% more than you did, despite only being 25% larger in terms of population. France contributed 50% more than you did, despite being the SAME population size. Your economy is weak. Something that will prove itself once you leave.
      You speak of the blame game. Isn't that what UK politicians have been doing for the past 3 decades? Blame the EU for internal issues outside of the EU's control? Another gut response. Another showing of your willing ignorance. Cheerio chap.
