- I've made it to Car Week, and the hypercar flow begins immediately! After parking my SLS Black Series in Germany and a long flight direct to California, let's head straight out for an evening car spotting with endless Bugattis, Koenigseggs, Paganis and so much more to find.
This is just the start of what's going to be an incredible couple of days; with new releases at Quail from Bugatti, McLaren and Koenigsegg, plenty of action at Exotics on Broadway and Pebble Beach, plus some special things we've also lined up in the works. I'm also here with Mercedes-Benz, so stay tuned to check out the new G63 4x4^2 and some very cool stuff with MB Classic.
However, first up is to immediately check out what can be found on the streets of Carmel by night. Car Week attracts some of the most exceptional cars from around the world, and in only a couple of short hours we already spot 4 Bugattis including @TheStradman' Veyron, 2 Chiron Pur Sports and another Veyron, a Pagani Huayra BC and a Huayra Roadster, 3 Koenigseggs including a Regera, Agera RS and CCX, McLaren Sabre, SLR, LFA, Aventador Ultimae and so much more... If this is how the next few days are going to continue, it'll be a great time!

You said it right, Tim. The highest density of ultra rare vintage cars/supercars/hypercars at one time in the world. I'm so fortunate to live so close to Monterey to be able to experience it every year. I always take that week off from work to get my full MCW experience. It's a petrolhead's dream.

I've been watching this channel from day one and one of the things I love is the way Tim's excitement has never changed even with all the amazing cars in the shmuseum you can feel and see his passion, and the effort that is put in to every video and channel and last but not least the travel that shmee has put in 👏👏👏👏
I think that purple and cream bugatti veyron belongs to Ray, from SR motor group. He's with the DDE crew. I could be wrong. But in DDE's current video it shows off a bugatti that's very similar and is in quite a unique colour like that one.

What a show! Was there Wednesday afternoon and I spotted that the two Pur Sports, a ONE-77(!!!), a covered F40, DeTamasso (where you saw the 2 Bugattis and the BC), also that BC, etc. Absolutely insane LOVE Car Week!
I am constantly amazed by how well you hold it together with jet lag. I could never do this at this level.

I lived in Carmel for 5 years some time ago. It was a nice seaside community back then. Easy access to San Francisco and Silicon Valley as and when needed. Problem is it’s not really big enough to cater for or host a mega large meet. The Pebble Beach gatherings were great and there is space to locate everyone
can i ask, how "dead" is the car scene when it's not car week? are super and hypercars still as common as camrys?
@@verdeithaca3956 right now I don’t really know. I’d guess you would still get the odd supercar in and around Carmel as it’s that sort of place

At the 22:03 mark Tim says it all. I have attended this event 7 times with my first year way back in '96 and there is nothing like this evet anywhere on earth. IF you are a car guy it is a must see event in life.
Saw you at the Quail but you were filming the McLaren so I didn't want to bug you. Been going to car week for 13 years now and it still blows my mind every year.
