덕분에 좋은 서비스 받았습니다. 맛있어서 두 번 갔습니다^^ 첫날 말도 안 꺼냈는데 한국사람인 것을 알고는 주인 아저씨가 와인킹님 안부를 먼저 물어보시더라구요. 기억에 많이 남으셨던 것 같은 느낌이 들더군요. 무뚝뚝한 주인 아주머니도 좋은 서비스를 해주셨습니다. 좋은 식당 소개 감사합니다.

In Italy cleaning dish with bread is called "scarpetta" and is the best way to make proud/happy an italian when is cooking for you.
In my culture, near italy - central coastal dalmatia. If you wipe your plate like that, you are a pig. But everyone wipes the plate haha
예전에 강원도 여행에서 식당을 갔는데 "할머니 머가 맛있어요?" 여쭤보니 시크하게 "우리집은 물까지도 다 맛있어" 하셨던 ㅋㅋㅋ 근데 진짜로, 물이 볶은 검은콩 물인데 맛있었음ㅋㅋ

Like the 3rd michelin star is litteraly for impeccable service. So you have to treat your customers right at the highest end. Ive seen two cases on this channel where the service was terrible. One of which in a michelin starred restaurant. Any serious place should chew out staff like that.

perfect statement! yes, support another's dream and share the outcome! large corporate restaurants in america are overpriced, behind the fancy settings are greed financial egos, even if the food is good it is not worth dropping $800 for a two person dinner in a restaurant where everyone else is doing the same thing. It is all just expensive fast food. Always ask the chef for his recommendations based on what you are in the mood for. This way he can reflect on his freshest ingredients, if you just dive in for the special, think of that as leftovers which can also be a blessing in disguise. Last, just live a little man, try food out. I really liked how the auntie suggested no to order 2 meat dishes.

I followed your suggestion, and went to the osteria Dell’Arco in Alba.. It was incredible. The staff remembered you and were extremely warm and pleasant. I had the wine pairings with the three courses and we matched on two of those three courses. The starter with the seafood Carpaccio was not available. The Panna Cota was the best I’ve ever had and I have been coming to Italy for 31 years and lived in Tuscany in the summers from 2000 to 2016. This current restaurant in MilanI hope to check out in the future. Buona Fortuna.

한국사람들이 밥비벼 먹는 거라고 생각 하시면 됩니다. 한국에서 볼로네제 같은 파스 타를 시켰을때 우리나라 사람들은 대부분 그냥 면만 먹고 남기는 분들이 많은데 식전 빵에 그 소스들을 올려먹고 발라 먹고 하는게 진짜 즐기는 방법입니다.
중간에 뭐노 ㅅㅂ 준내 맛있노 한것도 개웃김 ㅋㅋ
뭔가 묘하게 강요받는 느낌이 드는데도 이것저것 친절히 알려주고 물어봐주고ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ 상냥함과 거리는 멀지만 다정함과 가까우신 분들이시네요 아무래도 채널주분의 분위기가 그들을 더 따뜻하게 만들지 않았나 합니다:)

Update: Had dinner at Cirispccio last night, ate all that Jay ordered including a bottle of Aglianico also Jay’s reco- great wine at reasonable price. The eggplant parmigiano was delicious so is the Torchetti with pork! Owner approached us and had small talk when he learned we were Wineking subscribers. Wife or owner, same lady that got Jay’s order asked me what is Wineking’s name lol. She said a lot of people are coming to the restaurant ordering exactly what Jay ordered, didn’t even have to see the menu. Great food, lovely friendly couple owners with daughter helping out. Jay is right! Price reasonable excellent food and wine. Message to Jay- lady owner wants to know how you learned about the restaurant. I promised to let her know the answer. We also took pictures with her.
I think this shows what italian food is really about. Its "simple", well executed and uses high quality ingredients. Definitely some of the best in the world!

I was so excited to see you upload a video in italia today! I was born and raised in germany, but my mother was from South-Italy.
She always made Genovese when friends came over. I remember her telling me that It used to be a food for "poor" people since its only ingridients to cook the meat are Oil, Onion, Water and Salt!
But it's just so tasty its for all people! You cook it for fairly 3-6 hours depending on which heat/results u go for. Its so tasty and since her passing I couldnt eat it in a long time! I will make sure to visit this Restaurant when I am in Milano again. I smiled all the way trough when u ate the genovese. thank you!
