TVR's are well-known for not being the most reliable of cars on the road. And BMW's S85 V10 engine is well-known for being one of the most fragile engines ever made. So what happens when you combine them both into a 500bhp, naturally aspirated V10 Frankenstein project car? Mike Fernie went for a spin in this epic build to see what was what.

@@papa_pt …that’s true , my car is on 91,000 miles the analysis checks are showing little wear and tear which I know is only a guide but it helps , I’ve changed the throttle actuators for upgraded ones ( not plastic cogs ) including circuit boards which wasn’t expensive ( this is a must because they will go wrong) , I have no desire to sell this car it’s to much fun considering I had the M3 E46 previously that’s a bold statement because those cars are fantastic to drive what a car and I do miss driving that machine , I am going to change the rod bearings , vanos pipe and the engine mounts at the same time in the not to distant future for peace of mind , I would love to drive it everyday but it’s not practical regarding the warming up process if your running late for the train etc or in a rush plus the fuel is horrendous , I’m sticking to taking the cover of the beast every couple of weeks.

It really is a fantastic high-tech step in driver to car interaction. I have tried to find where the ECU is (it surely must have one) but have failed so far.
It hasn't thrown up any fault codes yet, and it seems to work correctly every time. A real breakthrough.
