The only video on youtube where a Sagaris and a Tuscan are being properly driven. Literally, the only one...
Hahaha have u not seen Jeremy in his sag review lol 😆 so there 2
@@williamwadepaulus330 The OP said Sagaris AND Tuscan.
That Orange TVR is older now but man it still looks fantastic and very modern
Timeless!
It's ashame it didn't come earlier because this was actually a good car from TVR
The tuscan does too!
From 2021 it certainly does
you probably dont give a shit but if you're stoned like me during the covid times you can watch all of the new series on instaflixxer. I've been streaming with my gf these days :)
The music, if you're interested, is Kasabian - Club Foot.
And the music at the start is The Prodigy - Phoenix
was really hoping when jason said about a sexy assistant it would cut to tiff
Sagaris still looks sick in 2022
When Vicky does her little trademark squeal... I forget the cars!
Annoying
I wish I was Vikki's seatbelt...lol
Vicki
Nasty
I wish I'd thought to say that :)
I want to be the loosen wiper washer switch.
Me too😘😘
You still alive daystate12345678
Very impressed by those two. The cars were good as well.
John Greenwood lol
The Sagaris still looks striking despite its age.
Crazy that they can be bought as kits brand new for cheaper than when they first came out. 60k US gets you the entire kit. If I had the money I'd be building one by now.
It's too bad TVR's aren't still around, they had some of the best and most unique designs of any brand. It's too bad they were so unreliable. Hopefully they will make a comeback and continue building light and crazy cars, but maybe with a more established engine manufacturer.
Adam S TVRs are coming back. It's not confirmed exactly when, but it should be some time next year. The first TVR the new owners are going to make is the Sagaris 2. It's pretty much the same as the 2004 Sagaris, but more power.
***** Even then 15k is not a whole lot...many cars these days go that long between oil changes.
I like the idea of TVR building body/chassis and suspension, but IMO it would be better if they sourced an engine/trans, electronics from a larger manufacturer. If they want to keep it all British they could use Jaguar, and if not there are LOTS of options.
TVRs are not unreliable. My Chimaera 450 has never broken down in the 7 years and 35000 miles I've had it. It did a 4000 mile trip round Europe and was one of only 4 cars out of 9 to finish (BMW - fail x2, Mazda - fail,) which included the Stelvio Pass. Now with a full chassis rebuild, it's ready to humiliate Porsches for another 20 years.
TVRs biggest reliability-issue is the driver's right foot...
Correct. To drive a TVR you have to be a good driver.
While the closet i've come to driving a TVR is in the Gran Turismo series, where the cars often feature heavily, often excelling in certain roles, most recently i bought a TVR Tamora specifically because it was one of the best cars to use for a particular series.
I've first noticed many cars or brands while playing games in the GT series and it was while playing GT1 or 2 that i first noticed TVR as it had a particular event or challenge where you had to drive a Griffith.
It was also while played the GT series that made me really want a Mazda 6, and i bought a first and second generation model as my second and third cars :) .
Though i can't really afford a third generation 6, right now, i'll get one as soon as i can, it's also a pity that GT6 in general didn't have a massive amount of new cars or other content over GT5 (while it is a good game, it's more like GT5.5 than GT6 :_ ), specifically i was rather disappointed it also doesn't have the new 6 in it, so i could at least have a digital one :) .
(My first car was a Ford Focus saloon, which it's also a pity a GT game has never featured, though it has had several hatchback versions of the car :) .)
I have a 900kg Tuscan with 500hp on GT4. It's an animal.
So were thes the last LARGE straight sixes in automotive history? Nothing beats the sound of a of these, to my ears anyway.
The Ford Falcon had a 4.0L straight six until production ended in 2016
It's not just the size, it's the fact it's high revving, naturally asperated and has over 100bhp per litre.
Never heard of BMW and Mercedes Benz?
@@Arayig1982 E34 M5, 3.8 was back in 1995, a great engine, but it ended prior to TVRs offering. The e46 M3, however great, was only a 3.2, so not really the same kind of displacement. Mercedes offering, more long stroke, not particularly charismatic inline sixes, and also smaller displacement.
@@gerardmontgomery280 I agree, it's the combination.
Vicki Butler-Henderson... gorgeous lady!!!
Always had a soft spot for her. 😍
love it when she screams at 2.10.. shows passion, she does the same testing the Maserati going into a tunnel
She also does the same thing when... Never mind
Annoying
What wouldn't I give to have a Sagaris..
Well 90K would give you one
@@vika0194 which is about $150,000 cad :(
You also have to find one, I think they only built about 100 of them. As rare as rockinghorse shit. I've only ever seen one and I live in the North West of England, TVR's home. Blackpool is a quick run down the motorway from me.
Gerard was that the purple Sagarus that lives by me on the Wirral?
@@2702simmo nope it was up in Kendal and in burnt orange. Gorgeous though.
I had two 2500M's, and 2 Taimar's, used all 4 TVR's as everyday transport, no problem
Amazing machines will always stay out of the crowd even when around more exotic cars. Some 458 italia or huracan looks boring compared to these TVRs ye they might not be the most reliable but 1200kg sports car without abs and traction is real driver's wet dream. Some amazing driving skills as usual Vicky.
@@gr-s2143 you have a TVR?
@@llive002 Probably
@@gr-s2143 agreed have had mine for 18 years and it failed once - a ford part failed.
His carpet came up bits came loose.....had mine for 3 years no issies at all. By far the most beautiful beast ive ever owned! Miss her :(
The Tuscan does relatively look more discreet than the Sagaris, but I'd still take the Sagaris.
Jason's hair! lol
VBH , the sexiest assistant ever :)
I love both of these cars very much
Anyone have any idea if these new models will be available in the US? It's my dream to own a Sagaris...
ummm never.. TVR closed its' doors a while ago now, they haven't made a car in years
But this video was uploaded this year... I thought they had reopened or something :/
Yeah, throw-back Tuesday.. Utter shame, I still want to find a good condition Sagaris for myself when I get the green..
if you look at the website they are bringing out a new model. you coud put your name on the waiting list. 😉
Looked like so much fun lol.
If these cars were still being made, I for one would still buy one.
Grab a bargain second hand =)
Lol Vicki's "drifts" 😂
"Oh Jason, chase me in my pigtails"
Every bit of engine-grear-suspension is good but it needs a role bar & metal body Pannals
TVR makes the finest sounding inline six, period.
It's amazing. 4 litres, ITBs, dry sump. Serious stuff!
Orange one looks sharp, nimble and agile and also quicker than the Silver Tuscan. Tuscan is attractive for the movie purpose where John Travolta appeared :)
Swordfish - movie
she's a babe
skinny boy babe ... re evaluate ... shes a girl that doesnt freak out if you get lead foot ... perfect
I jest ... she is indeed very sexy ...but because of her enthusiasm not the mundane looks ... ( looks in mirror ) ... looks arent important !
I wish I was Vicki's seat belt 😘😍😘😍❤️
Sagaris is worth 70k today. Value of the tvrs just goes up...
They're pushing £90k now. A ratty, poor condition 350 will set you back over £30k. It's almost like drivers want raw, simple sports cars. It's a shame manufacturers keep building bloody crossovers instead.
VBH .. excellent presenter..and driver..
+daz b Nope, VBHWBB is a excellent presenter and driver but the WBB is the more important thing to you, I assume. ^^
Great driving
I adore the Sagaris. The Tuscan is cool but it looks like a Pringle.
Both these cars are exactly the ones that came from Top Gear! 😄
No surprise since it's a promotional press car.
This looks like so much fun
Fantastic car!
Jason looks like a bootleg James May
did she say something as i was fixated on her chest
Same, all I heard was static
Can't wait to see the new TVR.
What new TvR, they are long dead!
No they are not! A guy called Les Edgar bought them. www.pistonheads.com/tvr/default.asp?storyId=27895
Yes they are and the relaunch will amount to nothing. We will have this conversation again in 3 years and you'll see they go nowhere.
Go nowhere? Seems you were wrong, engines being tested in cerbera test cars, factory being set up, people being hired, seems you were wrong, very, very wrong
mazdaman1980 you were saying?
Vicky is awesome
You can get a used cerbera speed for around $32k these days
The sagaris is one of my favorite cars, they're like a British corvette just way cooler and better euro build quality.
Tuscans were always overrated. They were an absolute handful to drive, particularly in the wet. Tamoras were far better, a pity they didn't look as good. When you were in one it literally felt 2/3rds the weight of a Tuscan. Never drove a Sagaris though, couldn't afford one! The 20 grand plus price rise was when they lost me as a customer, and almost everyone else too.
God vicky knows how to drive
I wish I was Vicki's seat belt 😘😘😍😍
VBH in a TVR...Ding Dong !
Ooh Vicky😍
I wonder how Vicki would like being behind the wheel of the most modern Dodge Viper ACR?
the tuscan s is fucking amazing
I know that not many Brits would like to hear that, but a „German“ owner could be the solution to TVR. The cars have the spirit, the blood, the passion and the design. But the quality is beyond mediocre. No idea what happens to TVR in the future, no news on the „new“ (2017) Griffith as far as I know. It would be a real shame to let this legacy die!
TVR don't need any German interference with their cars thanks.. That would dilute the visceral nature of the brand that drivers love.. With Gordon Murray's input in chassis design, 50:50 weight distribution, and Ford's 5.0 litre Mustang quad cam engine "tweaked" to 500hp by Cosworth, the new Griffith will be a full on supercar and many hypercars destroyer.. And build quality shouldn't be a problem with Murray over seeing things..
German cars actually do very badly in reliability ratings
They would be full of faulty electrics and bland styling they call it "modernising"
How are Maseratis, Ferraris and McLaren for reliability? Porsche wins that contest. TVR wins the flair and exitement contest.
Surprised TVR never entered any GT championships.
entered and finished Le Mans
T440R
RIP TVR
+Steve THERION they will be back on Le Mans in 2018. Then they will reverse engineer that car, in to two road cars. The engine is a Ford V8, developed by Cosworth for the next generation of Mustangs. Gordon Murray is heading the project.
If you didn't know, this must be your all-time favourite reply.
Raw excitement ' British hotrod
Juiced soundtracks lmao
Ah yes, a man of culture
TVR were always engines on floppy chassis' with cheap fibreglass bodies and very very poor build quality. Simply put, crap cars with light bodies and horsepower with amazing exhaust notes. They were always the brand to be brave and stand out with their looks but that was never enough. They were too complacent in their market. A Russian with £20 million was never going to save them.
+mazdaman1980 the russian with 20 million is the one who ruined them. They were going kinda well before him.
+TheLaXandro Not really. They just masked the problems. By the time NS bought it, the rot was more or less terminal
+mazdaman1980 Not really. The cars are quite stable and able to handle quite a lot of impact. Only issue would be fire
Well say what you want but my 350i is a great car, still enough grunt, great sound and handles well, seems you are just a troll
Obviously never owned one
Bruh she ain't even wearing a bra
+Mackeo She is a pro bro. Instead of having an extra deep cleavage like cheap teen sluts, she is more subtle. =)
That's her G-meter
him neither
,
When your watchin the top gear ripoff
This english wheel position is stupid.
What the fuck do you mean by English wheel position?
Right side driver position.Stupid as fuck
There is nothing stupid with that, you plumsack. The position of the steering wheel does not matter as long as its connected to the wheels and turns them. You are an absolute idiotic bellend.
LMAO this is proper real shotgun not fake I train combat shooting but hey thank you for your opinion.I am glad u like my gun.You can only wish to have gun like this in UK pale boy.Enjoy your fog there.
I am not from UK nor am I living there. You are a monumental bellend and a troll.
Interesting video, both cars still plagued with poor finish and lack of attention to detai. The girl should invest some money and buy herself a decent bra, 'cos she needs all the help she can get. It's alright wanting to be bosom friends etc, and trying to keep abreast of the times,............but hey,....it's distracting.;;:)
i'd love to buy a Tuscan from 2000-2001, in purple (*drool*), or chameleon green.
It's just THE fairy tale car to me.
To date the best looking car I have ever seen, well the Tuscan 2 for me, with those sweet taillights to compliment the back.
Two TVR's...TWO! And I'm still looking at the nipple!
