Thank you so much for the tour. I'm in the process of getting my crafting room (thanks to you, I'm going to start calling it my studio). I don't upload to youtube often, but I think I might do a little touir of my space when it's finished. If you'd like to see it, I'd be happy to show you :).
Hope you have a wonderful day, and thank you again.

I use those storage containers as well. I pair them with sterilite containers in the same style that are smaller from dollar general. If you have one near you, they have a 6.5”Lx5”Wx2/34”H box for $1 each, in the same shape with clip, which is awesome for smaller selections.
I’m not a big dollar general fan, but these boxes are an amazing value.
My space is basically a constant disaster-I don’t think it’s been as clean as yours since the day I started sorting. LOL

You're definitely more organized than you think! I have such a small workspace and I keep accumulating more and more stash, it's almost impossible to really get organized. I do have a sort of semi organized method that works ok, but it's beginning to get overrun, and I really can't afford to totally keep up with the storage containers, so I keep rearranging the ones I have to accomodate new stuff, lol! And , oh, yes! You're kitty is absolutely beautiful... and well behaved. Mine would never sleep in the middle of my stuff. They'd be trying too hard to get into everything. Being helpful, you know, lol!

Lol....there are times when my kitty refuses to be anywhere other than my bead tray. Trust me....he's not the angel that he appears to be!

What a neat and organized studio you have, dear Luisa! It is cozy, comfortable and very well equipped. I bet you can stay there for days, even forgetting about the outside world! Thank you for being generous enough to show us your surroundings. It is easier for us viewers to get a feeling of your sensitivity when creating so many wonderful pieces with the Bargain Bead Box each month! The atmosphere, the background classical music, the materials and even your lovely cat get your creativity flowing easily and we are so lucky to share in with you to watch! Enjoy your weekend and thanks again!😄👋🏻🌹❤️

I would like to know how you handle the clean up after a project. Do you return everything unused in the project to their original containers? I am kind of anal about this, I spend a lot of time trying to get a fairly clean space with a very small amount of bead soup. I do store lots of beads on wires, where I can see at a glance at least some of the things stashed in bins ... it is very visual but does take time to string them. I was doing this before I discovered your beads and rods system so it was easy for me to adapt some version with my own stuff. Not as precise and exacting as your set up, but it works for me and I so appreciate your inspiration and instruction, and creative eye, your walks in the park and your music. Normally I don't like music, but yours is always tasteful and doesn't compete with my other senses while I trying to absorb your work. Your exquisite christmas tree ornament backdrop last year was amazingly beautiful.

Thanks. This was very helpful. The only additional thing I would have liked to have seen is how things are stored within the bins. Are you using small plastic bags? Are beads/charms etc. loose in the bins? Thanks again.

Luisa, your studio space is fantastic and so well organized! Your kitty is so beautiful and he looks pretty comfy lol. Love the earrings trees and the bead trays. I sort most of my beads by color in containers that have 32 compartments. For really large gemstones, large quantities, and Swarovski crystals I store those in containers where the size of each space can be adjusted. All of my metal findings I store by type. I have a rolling cart right by my desk with all of my tools and baskets for each metal color. I keep smaller amounts of headpins, bead caps, spacers, etc. in the basket and then whenever I want to work on something with that color of metal I just pull out the basket and everything is together. Hope that makes sense lol. Thanks so much for sharing your space with us! I hope you had a wonderful weekend! 💕

Heidi Blankenship ....Heidi, thanks for the feedback. I love your system for findings! That’s my next task...I need to separate them by color. It’s an evolving process, changing all the time according to the type of jewelry pieces I work on. I can’t seem to settle on any one type of style or technique...lol.

@@MistyMoonDesigns Luisa, it seems like organizing is never ending. But I will admit I'm a little OCD about it lol. I sent you some pictures on messenger. :)

Thank you for doing this I really like those bins. I have been collecting beads and made a few pieces for family. They keep telling me to sell my peices but I haven't got the nerve up yet.I think I still need a few more beads and supplies and then I'll give it a try. Thank you again for sharing. 💖

I'm new to beading, except for some stretch bracelets I made and showed them on video. Even though I started out with nothing nor knowledge of what I need or what to do, I've managed to over run myself with beads! So when storage is very limited to me, I've had to be creative in what I am doing to store them yet being able to look at them quickly. My hat is off to anyone who has a "system" that works for them!

Kathryn I know what you mean ... I do several different crafts and love buying all the materials and tools etc. Yesterday I went thru my beads and it was like Christmas, stuff I totally forgot about, enough for an army of leaders, I don't know how I will use it all, given I love knitting and pour painting and dyeing yarn and tee shirts and gardening and watching instructional you tubes! Whew!

I am sooo happy I saw this video. Just starting out I need all the help I can get. It really helps to to be organized with all the beads, tools, materials, etc. I have been buying beads from BBBargains and still need to use them. Keep looking at your videos and feeling inspired. Mainly made earrings so far. Do you have a tutorial only on earrings? Like the ones on your Earring Tree? Thank you for sharing.

Hi Myrna. Thank you for watching my videos! I’m glad the bead organization one helped. It certainly has helped me. I don’t know how I could’ve stayed organized otherwise. I’ve thought about switching to bigger bins but the smaller ones are better because it forces me to further divide my beads into subcategories if I end up filling one with an over abundance of any type. I prefer to buy more of the smaller bins instead of bigger ones when I run out of space. Happy beading 😊❤️🌺🌸
