Thank you for the update on your son. I’m so glad he’s home and making improvements. I was where you are with my son Christmas 1994. He was in a terrible wreck , he was with his dad, his dad was driving and he hit an icy patch on a gravel road, his dad was thrown out of the vehicle, almost killed him. My son and I had just an evening before drove from SC to VA my hometown. My son had his wrist broken, bone was splitting, so I called the hospital I worked, got in contact with our hand and wrist surgeon. He told me to bring him back there and he would meet us in the ER. Five hours later we arrived, my son went into surgery at 6 am. He had to have his right wrist pinned and bolted back together and for 6 months he had to wear that metal brace. Then after this came off he had to have physical therapy 3 times a week. He was going to school to be a semi truck driver, just a month away from graduation at NEI so they allowed him to finish by instructing the class the last 3 months. Twenty three years later and 100% accident free and owner of his own fleet. He’s right handed and lately arthritis has hurt him and he will put on a special brace. That was the scariest time of my life. He suffered so much on that 7 hour drive. Even on a pillow he felt every bump, when I had to brake, it was pain for him and gut wrenching agony for this mom. Prayers for your son and both of you. Please keep us updated. We miss you but we fully understand where your talent needs to be now. We, your many fans and fellow Beaders miss you and look forward to your return. Prayers will continue and I’m sending you a hug from this mother that’s can relate to some of what you’ve been through. I found out being an RN my emotions took over and my knowledge flew the coop! That’s why medical personnel don’t treat their family in ER or beyond until they’re released. 🙏🙏🙏🙏❤️❤️❤️❤️🤗
