In her various NF appearances she has proven she CAN sing. Once she finally got to perform in Eurovision, she completely failed at properly singing in tune.
Wrong song. Either she was too excited or exhausted I have no idea. But her performance at 2021 contest was really a big fail. She eould definitely regret forever for 2020 contest being cancelled.

I mean... After 79 rehearsal performances, it's no surprise most people kinda flop vocally when it's time for the semi finals Best thing they can do is save their vocals, but she didn't, she was belting out those big high notes every other rehearsal

Before the show, a Latvian friend of my mother (I'm from Germany) told us that Latvia was going to participate and told his friends they could watch the show. Some days later, my mother said "Latvia was pretty terrible", and he agreed. Such a shame, Samanta had been working so hard for that, and then she just was just so utterly not-there.

And it was kinda awkward cause the audience was not as hyped as she was At some points during the performance she'd yell "I CAN'T HEAR YOU / SCREAM" and everyone would give the most uninspiring "Wooow" I've ever heard lol
The Moon is Rising was my num 1 entry on 2021 but I know aint everybody cup of tea...also the staging felt empy af 😔 and her voice....I mean, she *can* sing but idk what happened that night 😣

She is definitely unlucky. What's even worse, she made a graduation exam about Eurovision at her college.
She had 1,5 year to prepare her Eurovision entry and came up with whatever that was.
