- Today on Sh*t I Never Knew we have another update for you on the WD-40 trick for winter to maintain your wheels and keep them protected. We also are testing a New Killerwax product against the WD-40 to see what holds up best!
"Smells like big league bubble gum" lmao! Awesome video guys, keep up the good work.
Good stuff. Thanks for keeping up with this experiment.
Can you please clarify the procedure...
Do you reapply WD 40 ...after “each car and wheel wash” during the winter months ????
That's what I'm wondering and of course he never answered you
Those are some nice ass wherls.
Interesting experiment. Looking forward to the results. However, stretched tires are a turn off.
Kenny Rodger if you think that's bad, you haven't seen nothing.
Have you tried the Maxima SC-1 on the wheels?
I understand this is in the name of science but any decent sealant/wax is a much better choice.
I was thinking that. Most people do that for berliners before the Rhino liner and spray on truck beds. Or just use winter rims to save money and sanity
Pretty interesting video....Oh well I don't have to worry about this as I live in south GA.
Might try the WD40 on mine next winter. Got lucky down here on KY and had a mild winter. moving to Pittsburgh soon though. Totally different ball game with snow and salt up there....
Hey Shawn how are those Amp Mud Terrains?
Have you tried it on polished aluminum?
Love those wheels what are they
It worked. My question is what about the back of the wheel? Should you take the time to cover it as well or does it not matter???
You can do it but since it usually does not have a finish on it it does not get seen as much as the outside face/barrel.
Why mud terrains on a vehicle that will never leave the pavement? Just seems like such a waste when street tires would last longer, ride better, more quiet on the highway, and handle better.
because their money, not yours.
what do you mean about the ice and salt changing the fitting of the wheel?
When are ya'll getting the Hostile Alpha's in?
As much money as you spent for that wheel and tire kit. You can afford to by a winter set
Nice Hummer, did it useta😄 be yellow
I have the fuel flow wheels I was just wondering if you guys have any good products to clean these type of wheels, thanks.
Don’t ask these guys. There putting wd40 on Wheels
How much did you drive it tho?
what wheel and tire set up is on the H2?
lil slurrring... lol.. how many beers ya had bud?.. still a cool vid tho..
Tommy Bundy it sounds like you're slurring right now.
what have you tried on polished aluminum?
Jerry Haveman I wanna know as well
Jerry Haveman I used film fluid on mine and the appear to be holding up here in southern Ontario!!!
crazydogdude I have some of that stuff too. how did you apply? and how do you get it off?
crazydogdude What's film fluid ?
lb lewis fluid film is a vegetable based oil in spray can or gal can. farmers use it to protect bare metal from rusting over the winter. like augers and what not. as well as a million other uses. I use it on the under side of my dodge every fall. can be found at John Deere dealers. yellow can.
