I can get this device for free through TMobile or the Pixel 8a for 50 bucks 🤔 I decided to go with the Moto Edge and I tell y'all, this device is amazing all-round! Snappy, smooth, the haptics are nice, no ghost touches with the curved screen. The display itself is gorgeous and colors are popping like a Samsung, seriously.
I miss the curved edges of my older s8+ and s9+. I have gone to a54 and s23fe but I realized I really liked the curved edge displays and how the phones feel. My s23fe is pretty heavy for a phone and will be nice to have something lighter again. I am selling my s23fe and have already purchased and waiting on the Edge 2024, seems like it should be fine for my needs.
Honestly got this phone as a stopgap but so far I'm really digging the phone. It's a hell of a lot better than my pixel 6. I had gui glitches and slowdowns and it was slowly shoving AI down my throat. Battery has been great. I love the high refresh rate. I did get mine through T-Mobile so it was only $300 and for me that's well worth it.
144 hz refresh rate on a midrange, 68w charging on a midrange, 256 gb on a midrange, wireless charging in a midrange, this phone (edge 2024) is looking more like a flagship to me. The A35 from Samsung doesnt offer wireless charging. And really who pays retail for their phones nowadays. This review paints this phone to be 💩 and that is simply not the case at all. This phone is light and it has a nice form factor and solid battery life! And whats best I got it FREE at T-Mobile with trade.
Who needs wireless charging it's slow anyway and if you have a case on your phone that just makes it slower and the faster battery charging just weakens the battery
I@@JhonDot-fm1ms I use wireless charging everyday on my Tesla not to mention it's fast wireless charging and I'm not worried about the strain that it puts on the battery because I don't keep my phone's more than a year anyways
Sorry but im coming from a pixel 5 which is a phone i switched to from a iphone 14 pro max and before that i had the s22 ultra and the pixel 6 pro. So i am very familiar with high end phones. This mad did nothing but complain this whole video. I only switched to the pixel because i wanted a smaller phone that was powerful and i loved it but it was slow. This phone is by far my favorite off them all. The camera has even impressed me. The camera software is pretty side and laggy BUT THE PICTURES ARE FANTASTIC. I love love love the photos. The videos are alright tho. The screen and performance is fantastic. Imean i am honestly a higher phone nerd i know all about specs about pretty much any phone. I have always hated Motorola phones because honestly they seemed so generic and cheap and i never would have night one. T-Mobile sells it for $300 and i got it free with a promotion and i honestly love this phone. Imean you even get fat charging and wireless charging. I literally look out for curved displays and this one is beautiful. Now it's not the sharpest but it's freaking beautiful. Fantastic video too tho. You're just nitpicking 😂
If anyone is considering this one, keep reading.I watched all the available videos for this phone. I watched the side by side comparison with the pixel 8a and Samsung whatever. After MUCH consideration, i purchased the moto edge 2024. The biggest reason is because it pretty much cost me $199. Getting it through Costco gave me a $100 Costco gift card. Subtract that from $299 and you have a great deal without changing the service plan. So far I'm happy

You're an iphone user, I don't expect you to like anything else but apple. The 2022 definitely wasn't a "dud" by no means. At the prices of phones these days.....not using a case is stupid!
Not even 4 days of use and the screen somehow has a little scratch on it. I've been babying it while I wait for a protector and still... How the hell can such a hard screen get scratched so easily
A 5000 mah battery isn't anything to write home about in today's market like it was 5 years ago back then your battery would last for days but now that we are on Android 14/15 as operating systems become more battery consuming a 5000 mah battery is becoming mediocre
Well Samsung still doing curved panels with their Galaxy especially on S23 so I don't see what the difference if Motorola still doing theirs on the Edge 😂jk haha.... I heard a lot of people giving good reviews to the Moto G Stylus 5G 2024 phone anyway. Have you did a review on that yet?
I think this cellphone was geared towards non tech savvy consumers like seniors! my 85 yr old mother asked me to get her a basic and simple to use cellphone with a good battery and fast charging; the Motorola Edge 2024 seems to meet her needs. She loves how it grippy and light it feels to hold in her hands. She loves the fact that it is extremely affordable for what it offers; super fast charging and long battery life. The pictures and videos she gets on her cellphone from her grandkids and family members look bright, colorful, and sharp, too! $299 for a cellphone that is fast charging and with long battery life is a well priced bargain. For me personally since I am more tech savvy, and love tweaking with a more advanced cellphone; I am extremely happy with my Oneplus 12!!
It's not geared towards seniors lol. It's for people who want a good phone that will do everything they need it to without having to pay a 1000+ dollars

I just bought two moto edge 2024 phones , this phone is honestly a beast , not sure why the negatives I haven't had any issues with mine nor has my wife, the screen is plenty big enough, the color reproduction on the screen is beautiful and vibrant and the details are great , front and rear Cameras take great photos and the video quality is great, battery life is amazing definitely all day battery life, charging speed is lightning fast , it's a super fast and seems to be a decently powerful phone and it's honestly a pretty strong built phone I have dropped mine on the screen and the back of the phone and it just bounced , am I happy with my phone?
