What is the best way to get the footage off of the Action 3 to my iMac? I wish it had airdrop
I know right! For me fastest way is taking the memory card out the action and putting it onto the Mac or using a usb cable and connect directly to it. You can also sends files to your phone with mimo app

I'm a New Zealand RUclipsr. The DJI Pocket 2 is perfect for 4k walk videos but the battery only lasts 60 mins record time. Action 3 has replaceable batteries. May get this so I can take it to do walk videos for my summer holiday trip to Sydney in December & January. The pocket 2 audio is tin-eee and there's no display brightness options. Things the Osmo Action 3 probably has fixed. Nice review.

Hi, great video but is it 3 extra batteries and one in the camera totaling 4 batteries?
Just a couple questions Darren. Can you use the ND filters from the action 1 on the action 3 and can you use action 1 accessories on the action 3? Oooo, Are there any overheating issues? That was a big one for the action 1.
overheating is a huge problem on action cameras due to their size but this action 3 has been great, no issues
Just bumping this question regarding the original Osmo Action ND Filters. It looks like the lens filter is the same size, do you know if they'll fit? I've got the Polar Pro ones and don't really want to have to buy new ones(Tight northerner!)

I mount my GoPro to a Ram Mount on my ATV. How strong is the magnets? My riding can go through some pretty rough places.
They’re actually pretty strong
I just got the combo edition very pleased with the build quality.. So far all I did his to update the firmware and since I never used an action camera I am learning the best setting

That was my main concern too and I saw this quick release and was hooked despite me finding gopro having better colors
No point having better colors which can be done during editing if you miss the footage due to a slow setup

did you get to test the low light? If so, how does it look?
I did yes I’m going to do more videos, the low light is good, it’s better than the GoPro anyway but no action cam is great in low light but stay tuned 😊

if there is a 10bit firmware update, will the color science get better? GoPro 11 is much better so far.
DJI finally listened to customer feedback and released a wonderful action camera! However, I’ll stick with go pro for the color science.
After the 10bit upgrade yhou will see that DJI has better colors and lowe light performance due to bigger sensor and lower resolution so the physical pixels are 2,5 times bigger.

Okay.. love that review… BUT.. i got a question… Can you get this camera into GoPro mounts? Im asking because im wanting to film airsoft, and i have a military helmet where i can get a GoPro mount to fit in the helmets nvg mount - Perfect for camera placement.

Yes you can use any GoPro mounts with this or vice verse

Both are great, I would pick the action3 and save some money, in the Uk it’s £499 for the basic GoPro which is much more. I’m comparing both but the action 3 is the best dji have released in terms of previous action cams

@@DMProductions it's 399 with 1 year of unlimited cloud storage and insurance. So it is £70 more if you get the 2 year insurance for DJI. I'm torn between them. I want the insurance and cloud storage I want the best resolution including for indoors.

Yes i agree with you but all the shots I was using rock steady majority of the time it’s so good but no overheating this is huge for action cameras
My original Osmo Action sadly suffered water damage internally 😒 how confident do you feel with this new release?

By the way, can i ask which town are you from? i noticed them streets looked very familiar, im in bradford are you anywhere near? lol, im hoping you can do another video on what the hyperlapse and timelapse is like with them cameras as it looks good for that. loved the review, it came as a surprise because i didnt know you had your hands on one lol, i only brought the DJI mic last week, so this would be great for me as you can use it on them too.

Yes super cool the colour temp, I was impressed with the colours, what did you think ? The action 2 is good as it’s smaller and I like the chest mount but this is great for a all in one action camera with good video, great stability and no overheating !

that was a pgytech mount, you do get some mounts with it but not a bike one

yes ive sorted out the sound, it was a yt issue, yes the sound is better and I do think the colours look great coming out of this camera, what do you think ?
@@DMProductions I'd be interested in a comparison between the two if you had any of the pockets. I know they're meant for different uses, but the osmo pocket has been great for travel vids, especially with the motion/timelapse functions and panorama stitching

Couple of weeks ago I went to Blackpool all excited wanting to film the lights and the tower booked a hotel all good went on to beach to get set up Took off and it said you require permission to fly so I clicked on permission it’s a code but no code came . was very disappointed when I couldn’t fly as I like to stick to the rules can you please tell me how I can get permission to fly in Blackpool it was a long way to come to be a no-go travel from Doncaster hope you can help Daren watched all your videos Thanks very much Steve

I’m going to be comparing both, both are the best but few things to test before I can say. Won’t be long 👍
Based on the comparisons between this and the GoPro 11, the GoPro has better image quality.
It look big in comparison with the GoPro…mounts also look bulky ..
It’s slightly smaller than the GoPro
