Not really liking the combined format for the semis. So many climbers at the same time makes it hard to focus on a single climb.

The choice to have such loud music during the competition is atrocious, and I do not understand why the volume is kept high while we are trying to listen to the commentary, they can at least turn it down a notch.

Imagine trying to keep your heart rate down while lead climbing or doing a static type slab with that obnoxious music blaring. So ridiculous, if this became the norm at my climbing gym I'd stop going
Can’t believe ifsc cameraman made us miss Nonaka on W1, W2 and W3 and barely W4 what is this 😢
The camera work is infuriating! Miho came first but we only see the her top one of them in frame, and only just get the end of that boulder too… so annoying 😭

Setting the way that the tallest climbers can just skip the move is sooooo baaaaaaad
Or like M2 where short one can't 1:15:33 seeing Amagasa so stretched out, I don't know how a shorter one can do the same
Uhm, in every sports (apart from gymnastics), height is always an advantage unfortunately :(. If you want to look at it, Ai Mori is always major more disadvantaged than other because she’s one of the shortest
@@appleish5043 Brooke is one inch taller than her yet still does very good in dynamic boulders, they just f-ed up the setting making cruxes of the climbs skipable for the tallest

48:19 Imagine the pressure Adam or Tomoa had! It's heartbreaking! I understand how journalists can put pressure on him, but he's still so young! Can even make it to Brisbane! I mean, Tomoa said he will be aiming for LA, so Mejdi just has to stay focused on what he loves!

Stop hiring camera operators who do not understand this sport.... I need to see what the competitors do with their feet and palms and what direction they're aiming to. If the back of a competitor is filling most of the frame than you're doing something wrong.
Comment for less edit (I enjoy all the comp, even with the sometimes cringe inducing commentary by Matt, but co-commentary is always interesting!) And I recommend/love that you do stream the semifinals! Thanks for everything! I think we all massively appreciate what you do! 🤟
