I am a 2 o'clock, but mostly because I have spent too long on the job and have deeply ingrained muscle memory for strong side carry. However, I have also found that putting it at the 2 o'clock instead of 3 allows for some of the benefits of Appendix carry without having muscle memory issues of mixing actual appendix carry. On top of that, at 2, your gun doesn't jam into the seat when you sit down into your vehicle. You can still quickly access it even while sitting, and it also means you can keep your gun on you, where it belongs, rather than in some weird off body vehicle carry setup. Plus, if you really stop and think about it, the appendix carry is really more like a 1 o'clock, and is almost never a literal 12.
This makes it easy to point out where an aggressor might be in relation to you as well. So if someone is forward and left of you a person might alert you that they are at your 10 or your 11. That immediately tells you where that person is approaching you from.
WELL IF YOU ASK ME THAT QUESTION, MY ANSWER IS, EVERY DEPARTMENT HAVE THEIR RULES TO BE QUALIFIED ,I'M A FORMER FIGHTER PILOT F4 D, PHANTOM, WE HAVE TO USE SHOULDERS HOSTER OR CHEST HOSTER, SO WHEN WE MOVE OUR WEAPONS WILL NOT TOUCH ANY EQUIPMENT IN THE AIR CRAFT , KNIFE WILL BE ANKLE HOSTER
It’s not just that, it’s also used for directional communication, that’s why you hear “ON YOUR SIX” or “watch your six” on TV all the time. They are saying watch your back. Likewise, if there is a shooter to my front right direction, I’d say “shooter, 2 o’clock!”
I carry 4-5 o’clock (Kidney carry) because I have a family that doesn’t like guns and they don’t know about it and in a close hug, it is not really felt by anyone which is a plus for me… also I find it more comfortable while driving not having a muzzle pointed at my privates and it just takes a short lean forward to reach it. What do you guys think?
6 a clock or sometimes 3 a clock, 12 a clock is faster, but to risky for your testis, 3 a clock can end of acidental discharge or your fire arm, 6 a clock is better as it is not on your hip, good if you have a quickdraw holster, or the fannypack Johny has. Get yours now, becaus that fannypack is an awsome lifesaver, and if you use his code you will get an awsome deal
I mean, unless you have a gun with a safety? Plus if you know what you're don't you shouldn't be afraid to blow your dick off. That said, I don't keep one in the pipe because I've seen final destination too many times.
You know someone asked because clocks arent taught anymore. I guarantee someone legit doesnt understand how a clock correlates because they only know digital
I find 12 o’clock to be so uncomfortable. I prefer 4 o’clock, you can sit, stand, or even bend over without even feeling it on you. Not to mention I’m never flagging my most prized possession.

How high is your belt? 12 destroys my pubic bone.
I usually carry 5 o’clock or right above my back right pocket
We all know 3 and 12 is the best if you left hand 9 and 12

Calm down dingus. If we are talking combat its always torso or hip. Your experience doesn't apply here.
Concealed, I’m at 12 o’clock, duty I’m at 3 o’clock.

I am in Canada, so I can't have a gun, but I would have it at 3 o clock.
12 o’clock is 💯 ‘/, gangster mode💀🔫🔫
I've said it before and I'll always say it. I don't like a barrel pointed at my junk.

Have you ever considered wearing a thigh holster for your service weapon? Which do you think is better/ faster: on your duty belt, or on your thigh?

Bro discribed caseoh at the beginning💀
As a firefighter 12 o clock means straight 6 o clock is in The back
4-6 because of the way I was trained
Ideally 6 o'clock
But we can say safest and most handy is 4,30
Bro really said *στα αρχιδια μου*😂😂😂
12 oclock means lunchtime!
6 a clock or sometimes 3 a clock, 12 a clock is faster, but to risky for your testis, 3 a clock can end of acidental discharge or your fire arm, 6 a clock is better as it is not on your hip, good if you have a quickdraw holster, or the fannypack Johny has.

Usually a 4 o clock position
Do you do drills while carrying in the 3 o clock position whilst wearing a suit?
You know someone asked because clocks arent taught anymore. I guarantee someone legit doesnt understand how a clock correlates because they only know digital
Good morning what kind of vest you are wearing
I have an ostomy so I have to carry either 9 or if I need to do 2 I have to pocket carry but I have a great holster that won't pull out of the pocket
I like 4 o’clock you can easily conceal it and it’s a fast draw
I got a gun in my suit coat inner pocket so that I feel like james bond
I find 12 o’clock to be so uncomfortable. I prefer 4 o’clock, you can sit, stand, or even bend over without even feeling it on you. Not to mention I’m never flagging my most prized possession.
3 o'clock down on the Thigh

Here’s a little help for everyone watching: say your partner said “I have a visual on the suspect, 12:00” that means the suspect is in front of them.
I’m a lefty so 7 o’clock for me
12 o’clock positions or 2 o’clock position
If I had my 45 with me then I would be carrying on my 3 o’clock due to being predominantly right handed
I'm a Greek and the way he was showing his 12:00 in Greece this meant something very bad😅😅

I’m more of a 12:30-12:45 type of guy, slightly closer to my strong side
Would a 6 o'clock be very difficult since you have to grab from the back? 😅
Imagine a misfire at the 12 o clock range for a male 😂
I hold my cat in 12 2 1. 10. 11 oclock
