I grew up during the 1960's and I remember the Beatles were so popular at the time, but I also remember my Mom mentioning the music from her time and Harry James. My brothers and I were certainly not interested in that "old fashioned" stuff all. It wasn't until much later however that I would embrace the tunes of the Big band era and I couldn't thank my Mother enough for introducing me to the songs of her generation. Whenever I hear Harry James I always think my beautiful Mom and miss her.
Her voice, how beautiful and natural! Thank you for posting!

Funny how music touches the heart and moves the soul. What's life without it? Glad it found you.
Well spoken...I grew up in the 1940s and remember all of this music. It also reminds me of my Mom and Dad.
Beautiful recording, from the voice of the big bands!
Thank you for the posting, sooooo beautiful!!!

This is Joe Graves on trumpet, but beautiful nonetheless!
