- they reworked the pounce and it is much more fun now. we barely need stam for the pounce anymore, which allows us to use it more often. we can also pounce from behind again. in addition we got the jump kick back and even an upwards attack. looks like omni is back on top of fun gameplay :)

Dying to the aggro pachy at the beginning was of course annoying ... but I had to laugh at how your body went flying hahaha Rip to the 2 ceras, even with their bleed resists that was a lot of omnis to deal with! They put up a good fight though! I've been enjoying omni, I wanted to play it yesterday but NA 2 was down (where i have my omni) and then today the servers are all wonky hopefully they fix the servers soon so I can get my pounce fix!
it was a fun beginning at least. action from start on yeah, omni is really fun to play again. I love that we can finally spend some time on our prey and not just hoping on an immediately off again I played teno yesterday and yes, the EU servers were wonky, too
If pounce seems to be jumping weirdly, you can also just sprint, regular jump, and hit pounce while in the air. It often connects better. I believe that can also grab pteras in flight.

I think it also wastes more stamina to use it that way though, unless they changed it

@@da.mombie don't waste you money. One of the biggest disappointments I had. The game as it is, basically unplayable, and they laid off all the devs so there are no more updates
@@Specialk840 jeez, I didn't know that. I read that it was terrible at the start. that's why I didn't buy it straight away. I was hoping they will fix it later on with a couple of patches. didn't know they stopped the project. that's really bad news thx for the info ♥

well, the animation isn't on point in that particular moment, yet, the omni is on the back, so, a tail slam shouldn't do much. even more tho, it's a game which offers bucking. this whole mechanic would be useless if a tail slam would do the job. even worse, it would make pouncing useless. what's the point of pouncing a teno if it can kill you while you are pouncing? that doesn't make much sense in my opinion
@@da.mombie if an Omni is on the side, or on the back then sure. But if the animation was correct and the Omni was indeed hanging on the tail, then slamming the tail should knock off the Omni no?

so pls, tell me, what reason would we have to buck then? even more important, what reason to pounce? pls, I am curious. why should it be better to get killed in that moment? in relation to a game and not a scientific dinosaur documentary.

The isle is perfect, the rivalries of predator and prey. Just perfect, if you dont want stress dont play it otherwise if you want a challenge in survival go for it
I wouldn't call the game perfect yet, but, it's on the right track for sure. I like the concept of it and it will only get better with more dino and less bugs someday in the future

yeah, it was very sus. I mean, some players are really skillful and can track your footsteps through bushes. but, that mate didn't seem to be very skillful, so, I was also thinking of a probably hacker. dunno for sure tho

My friend was getting so mad at the rocks today. She hates them. I think they're okay, but there are way too many. Lower the count by 90%, lol.
Also, I don't think the stam on a raptor is any better. It's just that nobody knows how to buck. The teno didn't, and the ceras didn't. We were two tenos today, and we got attacked by a big group of raptors, and none of them stayed on long with us bucking. We would have been ok in the fight if their teno friend hadn't come out and started attacking me. We at least killed the teno, and it was only 2 raptors left, but I had 0 stam, so I couldn't do anything. They did have the babies spawn over and over again to keep our bleed going. I think if you die as a carnivore, you must spawn on the other side of the map.
I know you like it, but I do not like that I can't hold off the raptors for 15 minutes and can't regain stam while standing. If I lay down to get stam, I was dead, and if I stood with no stam, I was dead. This was the type of fight I was inferring when I said I didn't like it when it first came out. How's it our fault that 8 raptors showed up and a teno to where it took all of our stam just to kill them or keep them off of us. Not to mention, bucking cost us too much stam, too. So now we have to accept our fate and die without being able to do anything. Fortunately, they weren't focused on my friend, and I told her to just walk away so she lived.
they give me a bad legacy flashback. I really hated the way you got always "stuck" on everything back then. this feels like a comeback of an terrible experience, not to say trauma
yes, the cera didn't buck, but, I missed an attempt before, then pounced and yet didn't lose much stam. so anything, either the actual pounce (jumping on it) or the drain while you pounce has to be different. at least it felt this way.
it's funny, I had the same situation as you will see on sunday. no stam, sit=death and keep standing=no chance to ever fight back again. I loved being that helpless
@@da.mombie Lol, we are 2 different people on that. I want some control over my death. You can't say manage your stam because that's impossible when you're bucking 8 utahs off you and at the same time fighting a teno. However, if it was 2 ceras or something, I wouldn't care because I could control my stam better with a couple of whatever it is
But to each their own. I'm sure there's something you don't like, and I don't see it as a problem 😀
@@ScottM436 I see it like this. one teno vs 8 omnis? should be nearly impossibel to survive. come on, 8vs1! you have to have a big advantage as omni.
3-4 omnis on the other hand are quite a fair match vs one teno.
well, that the other teno helped them is unlucky and unfair, but, that's what mixpacking always is. no matter how much you can buck. that's never a fair fight.
but yeah, there are for sure topics which we disagree on, but, I like that. I love people having different opinions

No. In The Next Update we become the Dibble first.
the 7.5 and so on doesn't count anymore. they changed the road map. but, rex will come soon. even if they only come to private servers first. but, like Martin said, dibble will be next

I played omniwhen the update happend, pachys killed my pack of 13 people all the way down to 2 and my bag was broken and I saw my fate coming so I sacrificed

@@ronin5878 ain't that easy to be honest. I played 5 hours meanwhile. 3 within a group where barely anyone came even close. 2 hours as solo teno and just got attacked once by a cera, which retreated quite quickly again. I will play some more hours today, but, so far I had less action

i love raptor pounce, but id say the only problem is that its currently near impossible to counter (except terrain)
tough to say, but, normally you always find a tree nearby. as soon as you hug a tree, omnis have to be very careful. the stand up animation got a little faster, but it still takes quite some time and any proper player will kill you in that time
All they did was restore some functionality that was removed. Not sure what the gripe is about. Not being able to pounce except from the sides became a massive handicap because it was easy to counter and super buggy. You used to be able to pounce 360 around before.
the hitbox is still a little weird but i do agree, its just that bucking is useless against a pack of raptors so you HAVE to hug terrain to win against a skilled raptor (or even just a group)
which server do you play on official or unofficial?
most of the time on the official EU1-7. I have different dinos there. every now and then I play on Petits Pied's server

I don't know what is with the vomit thingie; i often got sick without reasons at all (no rotten meat, no over-feed, nothing) and i would just
be "may vomit", then heal and 10min after vomit
Or have a friend that's "may vomit" but i'm the one, who had nothing, to suddently vomit... Idk why it's like that :'((( annoying

Anyone else notice after this update CPU temps are through the roof ?
does it? personally I didn't have much trouble with the CPU so far. it mostly runs at 20-25% only
@@da.mombie for me it does, maybe servers I’m on or something. I’m pretty paranoid about cpu temps, so mines water cooled but radiator gets cooking hot.
@@Steelie25 mine is water cooled too and my pump was broken last year. at that time my temperatures went up, too. did you check at what level the temperature rises? is it at 80%? or already at 30-40%. because I didn't notice my broken pump at first. it ran well till 25% (so while normal business), but as soon as I edited (or played) it went hot even at only 35% of it's capacity
@@da.mombie I did a pump check and temp check by unplugging and plugging AIO back in. Pumps fine. I play a lot of CPU heavy games and run almost everything and max setting, never had radiator get this hot. If it’s just me might just stay away for the game for a bit.
@@Steelie25 yeah, the performance goes up and down with every update. so, the next will hopefully fix that for you
it's just weird, because the isle is no CPU game in my experience. games like "planet zoo" are the ones which make my CPU sweat. but the isle depends heavily on the GPU on my PC. my CPU is mostly at 20% only

Whole hordetest i Said cera got somehow nerfed i lose so many Fights ... Now on official Update Turns out chargebite does normal bite DMG... As mainly cera .. i dont like the Update as it is atm... vomit to make it rott also nearly never works since body Location is often Not the Same Server Side.. its awesome for rappis and some Herbies but sucks for cera .. some Bugs came Back and some new came too.. and i feel Like all the reports i wrote doesnt Matter after all ._.
Edit: that Chargebite Thing is a known Problem and somehow theres No hotfix atm ... Why .
I am happy about the update. many QoL stuff which I really enjoy. personally I don't mind stats at all. so, I don't care if cera got weak in this update. the next might change everything again anyway. the rotten body thing is annoying, but, we always had problems with server synchronization, so, it's also something which doesn't surprise me much. those problems will stuck with us for a long time. I don't see them able to fix that soon. in worst case this will only get better during the last part of the development. when they start to polish the code.

yeah, it was very sus at least well, I can't complain much about cheater. compared to other PVP games I played, there are quite less around. unfortunately there is nothing you can do about them. not even valve (steam) is able to get rid of cheater and they are one of the biggest studios ever.

yeah, they are back in numbers. to be fair, the new pounce is pretty fun. but, like with every dino, this will take a few weeks and everything will go back to normal. we just need to be a little patient

not all of them, but yeah, many people play pachy very weird ^^ it even was a little sus in my opinion. it did follow me too well through the bushes. I mean, there are some very skillful players who can follow your footstep sounds that good, but, this mate didn't look like a very skillful player, so, I don't know
Many pachy players ln official servers even cannibalize eachother, for whatever reason. It’s why i’ve stopped playing them when i’m on officials, too many times it has happened for me. It sucks, because you’d think most pachy players would want to team up you know? Safety in numbers.

Because they take a look in the mirror and saw how ugly they are… you would also be frustrated and aggressive if u were this ugly. But luckyly your not that ugly.
