The SEGA Pass is included with the Digital Deluxe Edition of Banana Rumble and will also be available as a separate bundle to purchase. Individual characters will also be available a la carte. All content is scheduled to be released over the coming months.

Why does a Monkey Ball game have more characters from other games than actual monkeys?
There are only 6 guest characters, and there are gonna be 12 monkey ball characters
6… so far. Plus the Shinobi costume for preordering. And there’s only 7 monkeys.
Guarantee they’ll add the AGES consoles and who knows how many other characters in their SEGA pass.
This would be great in an All-Stars racing game, but Monkey Ball is its own thing.

The good old days when Monkey Ball was just Monkey Ball.
Knuckles, Shadow, Eggman and Sonic has to have the biggest character development in Sega history. Sonic has to show that he doesn’t have the all the power needed to protect everyone just to want more and show a darker side and hurt himself to save others.
Eggman and Sage may not be as active to want to do wrong to Sonic, but they definitely would know that Sonic is not like he used to be and that they need a counterbalance to snap Sonic back to the reality. He put too much pressure onto himself to do more for those he can barely reach or touch.
Characters that we have seen for years has to be in Sonic Frontiers 2 and each and every one of them have to will to go beyond just themselves and push the greatest of obstacles that effects a whole universe.

It's kind of crazy Shadow isn't in the Sega Pass at all. It is the year of Shadow after all. Maybe he will be a surprise dlc or unlockable.

It feels like whenever there's a big Sega crossover or a game with guest characters, Golden Axe fans are lucky if we get even one character (and its usually just Gilius). Did we really need 4 Sonic characters?

Why does it have to be a crossover game with other SEGA characters like Sonic, Tails, Amy, Knuckles, Axel and now Beat again! I don't mind the 4 new original characters but I can't stand these crossover characters! Remember back in the day in SMB1 when it was just AIAI, MIMI, Baby and GONGON. Those were the good old days.
I agree. It’s great that they want to include other games, but they’re doing it so much that it feels like they’re sidelining AIAI in his own game.
They should make another All-Stars Racing game to do this, not jam it in Monkey Ball.

Knuckles. I know we’ve seen him develop better in comparison to other games, but have we seen him grow. I even wonder the same with Shadow.
They are both introverts and on that only child syndrome. Not just because they lost people, but they still struggle to grasp the present. That shouldn’t be rejected by those always moving into the future that is still unwritten. And it should definitely fit more than just those willing to move forward as clearly there are biases in social constructs in media.
I think Shadow and Knuckles should definitely have the most character development than even Sonic and Tails.
Amy fits just right showing that she can actually mature and make changes of her own that can help boost the morale of other characters. She has always been that way being a supportive individual, but she is shown to be more content with her role now that she doesn’t need to rush or hesitate to do right by them when she got everyone else by her side.
Sonic and Tails are alway moving. Yes Tails has shown to sometimes feel like he can’t catch up to Sonic, but Sonic knows to give others the breather. Tails is willing to work up new gadgets of course and maybe even work with Koco’s to make newer robots along the way. And I think Chaos should definitely be a returning character to help out.
But a flaw on Sonic’s part is that he hides failures faster than everyone else. With every success, he doesn't worry about the failures as long as he knows his friends are ok.
But just like IDW and Frontiers, he may not be speaking true about himself. And all of his friends have to show that even they themselves can be a wreck. And Knuckles was the first to show that in a Tweet session. I hope the same goes for IDW and Sonic Frontiers 2.
And I hope that his darker form is not a drive for evil, but the self loathe to still not do enough and is willing to go the extreme to save others while hurting himself in the process, and make him a boss that others, even Dr. Eggman and Sage have to face.
The main character being a boss is the best outcome. And having fully developed characters that are still showing that they are growing with their flaws, that can help reassure that they are the friends that Sonic needs to lean on. He has to be the most emotional after all the times he showed very little worry.
It will get people to realize a balance and that being a fan can actually have some sides than just it being chaotic and melodramatic.

First they decided to have the new JSR released in 2028, then they did this thinking that it will keep us hyped. Too late for that, Sega! Our hype already killed with the release year already and nothing can get our lost hype back
If this an actual new JET SET RADIO soundtrack, it's bad for JSR/JSRF standards. 2 out of 10. Two thumbs down. New JSR is dead on arrival.
