How can medical care providers NOT have mask mandates? Given that people with co-morbidities spend more time there, mask mandates SHOULD be a no-brainer. There should also be Corsi Rosenthal boxes in waiting rooms and many other rooms in the facility. Even vaccinations/boosters and face masks aren't enough. I make my own erythritol/xylitol nasal spray and use it regularly. Anytime I need to go to public indoor spaces where I MUST stick around for some time, I'm bringing in a homemade air purifier. Then there are also other precautions, like making sure to get enough Vitamin D3, selenium, and Vitamin B12. And I'm eating my healthiest diet ever, which means that ordering deep-fried food is a thing of the past for me.

For people who understand the health risks, maybe because we already live with difficulties, staying educated and proactive reduces possible further challenges than already experienced. ( As a congenital heart patient who also learned as an adult that my brain has been neurodivergent all this time, I respect the resilience and careful strategies people have considered. Thank you for sharing some ideas. Honestly, the DIY/ Corsi-Rosenthal design is also a boon for the portable aspect, and I had hoped that because of this fact, they would have caught on more by now. Even so, maybe BYOC-R will be welcome during the present era and beyond, - as long as necessary. If nothing else, it might introduce people who haven't already tried that concept, as a possible public health tool.)
@David Ellis Dude, my older brother died by suicide a decade ago and struggled beforehand for years. Whether you are "David Ellis", or use that as a shield, what you are doing is cowardly. The brave action is to take time to actually understand how covid can affect people, instead of this attempt to make fun of people for caring.
So, I was unfamiliar with xylitol mixed with water as a nose rinse, but had recently read about erythritol being a possible cause of blood clots. I looked it up, and found that high doses of xylitol might risk tumors. I'm guessing you already knew this, and am honestly curious why a saline solution, whether in a nasal spray or air purifier, or older style, like using a neti pot, is not used instead. Wouldn't the sugar substitutes be a higher risk? Is it more effective at disinfection?
@@lizhyink5636 My xylitol/erythritol solution has dilute concentrations of these sugar alcohols. I spray just a small amount of this dilute solution into my nasal passages a few times per day. In other words, this involves just slight traces of these sugar alcohols in the location where they're most needed. Getting blood clots and tumors is from using these sugar alcohols as a replacement for sugar and thus consuming large amounts of them.
