- In today's vid I am flying out the Fw-190 A-8, which sits at 5.0 in the German tree and the American tech tree as a premium.
This plane is fun to fly, especially in a squad, however its capabilities are very limited. The A-8's flight model at 5.0 is definitely not up to standard, and can cause some pretty frustrating situations ending by going back to the hangar.
As long as you fly with discipline and take advantage of its niche as a furball destroyer, you will succeed in this plane.

I bought the premium one to grind the US props, and boy it was great. The modifiers are excellent and it's a very straightforward plane to fly, which allowed me to learn the basics of B&Z while grinding very efficiently.
Very fun too so I recommend it, it's not the cheapest (especially since it's available for free in the german tech tree) premium but it is actually worth it.
I'm also very happy to see that my way of flying it isn't too far from what you showed us, makes the old me proud lol

Love your content man, would you consider making a control/hot key guide for air RB? I’m unsure about how to edit radiator %’s and more technical stuff like that. I’ll probably never understand anything about missiles or guided bombs lol. I’ve just researched the first me-262 after the bf-109 line, happy flying🤙🏽
In addition to manually selecting weapons, you can map individual weapons to key combinations so you could shoot only low caliber guns with ctrl+mouse1 and only large caliber guns with shift+mouse1, if your modifier keys are available that is. It can make ranging shots with low caliber tracers much easier too.

The 190s overall are very responsive and you can do flat turns without sb controls in some cases. Makes squad antics all the better
You should make a video on the a7m1 the Japanese premium, its roll sucks and leads me to my death compared to the a6m
I don’t have the premium but I do have the a7m2, and I will most likely fly that out in the near future :)

Were the 190As flight model nerfed or are they just overtiered?
I know they overheat now because some whining idiot a few years ago complained about the 190 not overheating while WEP climbing with 0 documented proof on the bug report forums and Gaijin just accepted it with 0 questioning....

The 109 G6 is one of my favorite props in the game, awesome plane.
I don’t think I’ll be making a vid on the yak3U in the near future, but I have been getting multiple requests for it, so if it’s what the people want, then maybe.
Continuing the gunboat with the 190-A8, how about flying the P-47D-28 with its good flight performance and 8x.50 cals?
Currently, P47s aren’t very good planes, as they need to be played slowly and methodically.
Unfortunately in today’s meta, filled with low altitude slugouts and furballs, the P-47 if played correctly is obsolete and ineffective. It’s sad, as it used to be a favorite of mine.

Im actually here to apologize. We met yesterday, i was flying the A-4 (Germanium-32) and u the G.55S and i actually quite disrespectful to you even tho u were polite. I have some diffrences with 6th and blamed adapted that to u.
For what i saw in that video, u are like him really good at BnZ, Headons and squad 190ing and i just couldnt get that you dont know that the Fokke can actually take some really tight turns with landing flaps. This also helps reversing things at speeds even below 500 kph.
Maybe you will try that out someday as it is a part of Fockewulf that i wouldnt want to miss.
But as i said im here to apologize, so sorry.
And the answer to your question: I knew theres no one around, so i went all in and deployed landing flaps as soon as possible. Flying agressive lead in the cissors with landing flaps, that take an insane amount of energy, even compensated for u cutting throttle. So i got behind and thats game.

Btw I never cut throttle, I was stock lol. I thought I could still win a dogfight vs a 190 but I got played anyways. gg

How do you climb most effectively with an interseptor spawn (over or under 300 IAS)? I've realized most interceptors need a squad mate to be effective, but I don't have any friends who play Air RB :/. Any good discord servers for finding squadmates on EU servers?
I climb around 14 degrees in the A-8, and shallow the climb once I get below 275km IAS.

Id say 270 IAS. Starting with ~16 degrees and then going down as u gain alt, but i personally just look at the 270 IAS.

Yeah but some planes get better than others when used in a team. Fw-190s really shine when they are played in squads, while they are average when solo.
