My grandpa was a WW2 pilot on the USS Lexington. I was in grade school when he passed, but he had some crazy stories and was very well decorated
or just lucky, not all that survived are good ones, some sacrificed themselves to save the rest
He looks awfully young to be a WWII combat pilot. My grandfather flew the P-47 and he died in 2014 at 92 years

He likely flew the Douglas A-1 Skyraider by how he flys... he flys like a close air support flyboy. Likely USAF. His maneuvers are definitely Airforce training in close air and ground control support.
