Man this is high quality stuff. You deserve far more views and subs. Keep at it bro. Your quality will catch on. I added this comment and pressed the bell notifications for the algorithm for you.
Long but comprehensive video tutorials with demonstrations aren't common in the WT community, which makes me appreciate them all the more because I have an idea of how much work goes behind it. I'm keeping my fingers crossed for you and going to check out your previous videos. Thanks. You have a new enthusiastic subscriber. You'll be my @DEFYN junior 🙂
Many thanks for making this, Mac! Your video is really helping me to play the 109 to it's strengths. Hell, just yesterday I was able to pull off a solo carry against five enemy fighters in my G10. I've never been able to do something like that before and this video deserves a lot of credit for making that happen. You got yourself another subscriber.
This video is amazing right now im struggling in the swedish air tree with the 109 and this is an extremely high quality video with complicated information delivered so simply well done and keep it up man!
This was very well illustrated and articulated, well done. I have not one bad thing to say and you play the energy game well! You made a comment about the F4 being sluggish now…if you take “Instructor” off you’ll become much more nimble and maneuverable at the cost of stability. You can easily stall or snaproll if you’re rough on the stick. It’s like flying a different plane allowing you to be much more aggressive. Someone like you could outturn a spitfire with the E and F using flaps in the right situations. Keep it up!
Just commenting to let you know that your content is exactly what people like myself are looking for. High quality footage from a guy who knows what he's talking about and going through all the decisions he makes in a match, seriously awesome stuff man. All the more impressive with how young you are, congrats on graduating and good luck with everything you pursue.
ruclips.net/video/gqGFz1YDEbg/видео.html The reason for this is explainable. You dont control RPM in manual mode but directly prop pitch. Meaning in a 51 if you control the RPM manually (which was the case in reality all the time) the prop pitch govenor changes the propeller pitch to achieve the set RPM (100% = 3000RPM) Meaning if you go fast the pitch is coarse, if you go slow the pitch of the blades are fine. In the 109 this is different. in engine manual mode you dont control the RPM but really the prop pitch. Meaning if you go slow and you set the pitch coarse (
thanks for making this video because 109s are my favorites planes in the game and your content is very good, you explain what you are doing like defyn. Very good content and high quality gameplay
thank you brother, you helped a lot of people and one of them is me. this video is very high quality and helpful exactly tells you to what you do in each situations hope you get more subs
Giving advices in air rb, clear video that is useful, guy is good at the game and have a decal on the tip of his wing ... Let me introduce Defyn2.0. (But fr your goated, you deserve more views)❤
Dude this video is just what i needed, i used to be more of a Yak 3/ La 7 but i wanted to try out something a little more high altitude and the 109s always seemed nice and this really helped me understand how to better utilize the strengths of the plane.
Very, very cool ! The mini-montage was great, I loved it ! Very good tips, the best thing is that you implemented a lot of examples in this video. Praise the german engineering and the wonderful "Deutsche Qualität" !
I didn't realize you were so young until you mentioned just graduating in a more recent video. Your presentation style is great, you're very articulate and you teach in a very approachable manner. I hope your channel grows and grows! Thanks for helping us fly better!
8:10 If I remember correctly, the Bf 109s had automatic propeller pitch. The Pilots would change the boost pressure (in at/ata/atü [kgf/cm²]; 1 at ≈ 0,980 bar) and the prop pitch atomatically adjusts to set pressure. There is also the Ladedruckanzeige (boost pressure indicator) inside the cockpit, pilots would more likely fly with this indicator rather than prop pitch. Note: I’m not native English speaking and also not an engineer, so maybe Ladedruck is more likely translated to manifold absolute pressure in the context of a Bf 109 DB 605 engine.
I am mastering BF-109 F1 and I need to tell you, this video is amazing. High quality, amazing content packed with a lot of important information. Watched it fully at one go and I will be back once I start playing for sure! Good job man, keep it up!!! PS I need to somehow improve my aim, I need to be BF 109 beast with those canons
damn dude this video helped me so much, ive gotten so good at playing the 109, it being my favourite plane and finally being good at playing it makes me really happy so thank you for that!
just made the switch from d9 to g2 trop to grind rank 4 and 5, thank you for this guide, it's great. If you have the time please do make a video of roughly how to fight which planes in each rank, I just don't have the knowledge about the planes like I have of tanks.
Well that was great to watch, I didn't expect such quality and all the info You provided. It definitely helped me refresh my memory on how to play Bf's, I had some successful games after the video, more than usual, so thanks I guess :D
i am relatively new player(lvl 16) and grinded bf 109 F4, and going to research this treeline further, 'cuz i need CAS aircrafts for Ground RB and Bf 109s are more universal, they are somewhat manouverable(in comparison with other german aircrafts) and have bombloads. Thanks for the video, was very informative, i hope it will help me to grind other aircrafts of german tech tree
very good vid, has been very useful in helping me go from hating the 109s to liking them a fair bit :) if you are taking video suggestions, would appreciate a g.56 video, its not a very specialized plane, but it is pretty fun
awsome man ! im new to the game but im doing really good .. watching you merge like this whit it made me be better at energy trapping ! awsome content !i should of watched it day 1 instead of day 16 Plz keep making these kinds of videos ! also when you said the f4 is good aswell what is the major difference whit the f4 and trop ? i noticed the f4 has a little bit better engine is that it ?
Just a minor correction to the start (4:04): The 7.92 mm MG 17 were built by Rheinmetall and not by Mauser. But the 20 mm MG 151/20 were built by Mauser. :)
The algorithm has smiled upon you this day. Never knew of you before but recommended to me, great video all round, might be long but 100% worth the watch
If Im in a close fight at a disadvantage and I'm close to the the other aircraft, I like to give him a burst. A lot of inexperienced players hear that and assume I must actually have a shot, when in fact, I don't. They will often go on the defense instead of pressing their turn in an attack, and that's often all I need.
I understand you prefer the G-6, but if you have recorded a good games with the BF 109 F-4, I would greatly appreciate a video adding a text analysis of "what you do and why you do it", just like in the YAK-9U video from 23.02.2024 which also concludes with a 7-kill battle with an F-4.
This video is super useful, the only thing that I just can't seem to learn is how much to lead and how to aim. Do you have any tips except for "gain experience"?
Omg this is a really useful guide! Very nice, one question this type of tactics can be used also with the fw190d13? I'm struggling with his poor elevator controls
Thanks! You can use these same tactics, but you can’t be as aggressive in energy traps because the 190D has worse energy retention in the vertical and turn
I just got my first jet. But, I don’t see the appeal for jet gameplay in war thunder. It’s so fast paced and missiles makes gameplay more challenging. Secondly, I feel like you have to unlearn everything from props, as stalling out people is a recipe for a missile.
like a G-6, like a, like a G-6…🤗 yeah. the only higher rank 109 that works for me. i have a problem with XP-50s that are way above me in the F-4. when having an energy advantage, every 109 is ok…but getting there.
G14 is basically a slightly lighter g6 at 5.3 K4 is all around best, since it has better performance at altitudes below 5km and is faster than the g10. I’d only use the g10 for altitudes over 6km
did you just free look and keyboard fly? why does it look so smooth? When i do it my plane keeps fighting to level and making it look real jerky jerky.
Doesn't seem like it. You had to use manual prop pitch below 200kp/h, and put it to 70% (or lower if at higher altitude). This allowed the aircraft to float in the air, in the exact same way that Mac showcased, but since he wasn't using this trick it means that it has been "fixed" by implementing it to the auto prop pitch.
Yeah later 109s 4.7 and above, especially the k-4 have a problem where their engine goes kaput at speeds below 240kph IAS, losing around 1/3 of its horsepower
@@blacktiger974yes. That is because propellers lose efficiency at lower speeds. They kinda act like rotating wings and “stall” at low speeds like planes do. However, 109s have another prop pitch trick where below 250kph, you can turn on manual prop pitch and set between 64-70% prop pitch to pull thrust out of thin air. I recommend staying at exactly 64% to get the most effect without overheating and over revving the engine too quickly. You can use it to float in stall fights and it’s saved my virtual life lots of times
I do play the entire match with MEC, yes. I find it more efficient, because if my engine is overheating I can simply open the radiators slightly more, or do whatever else. I can also do other tricks easier, such as the German airbrake.
tried it out today...yup my mistake was climbing with 270 kph and full rads open all the time... put my rads to 40% and climbed with 290 kph, everything went fine...
Man this is high quality stuff. You deserve far more views and subs. Keep at it bro. Your quality will catch on. I added this comment and pressed the bell notifications for the algorithm for you.
Great stuff! Thanks!
I’ve lost count on how many times I’ve watched this vid. So much good information. This creator is going places.

Also pretty good to show up in a few matches :)
This video is amazing right now im struggling in the swedish air tree with the 109 and this is an extremely high quality video with complicated information delivered so simply well done and keep it up man!

Just got back into the game after a break. Excellent video for beginners and vets alike!
thanks for making this video because 109s are my favorites planes in the game and your content is very good, you explain what you are doing like defyn. Very good content and high quality gameplay
Outstanding content! Keep ‘em coming.
Video suggestion: an early jet guide (Me-262 or F-80)

One of the best 109 tutorials I have seen.
little late here but this guide is extremely helpful for my bf-109 grind

Really good information and quality
It’s really gone help me👍

you made it! 🤗🤗🤗
thanks.
ta-152C next? 😜
Maybe ;)
I like helping and teaching people things :)
it’s always refreshing seeing someone know their shit down to a science. Awesome video man :)
Maybe I ask a lot but could you make that kind of vidéos with other planes ?
Great advices and gameplay btw, I already hit that like button :)
These videos take a lot of effort, but I’ll make more of these in the future!
Amazing video. Just started learning Bf109 F4 so this is perfect.
Great video. The way you broke it down and the different chapters. Quality guide.
I subcribed just because it is 109, I dont really enjoy any utuber playing 109s since Smitty left but u give a lil hope. Keep up the good work 👍
What a guide 10/10 I hope there will be more like a Spitfire Or P-51 done this way, thanks
i just rewatched it a second time its soo good, could u please do a guide on the FW190? you got my sub brother👍
MAN IT'S GOOD

I love the bf 109, especially the e7. Second plane I got an ace in freely
Great video, getting way better results now!
this video alone got me to subscribe, why haven't i found your channel sooner

Clean ass intro clean dives and execution

Also the k4 has a longer vertical stabilizer
This video made me a subscriber.
This is perfect☺
every new player should watch this video
Excellent video and channel.
I don't understand how to control the manual engine but i want to try it soon 😂. A question, is 109 still good without controlling the manual engine?

Please make one vid for F4U-7 kinda deppresed how to climb
Thanks for the info great content. Have you tried BF-109 Dora. Rools very nicely.
Helped me a lot
This video is super useful, the only thing that I just can't seem to learn is how much to lead and how to aim. Do you have any tips except for "gain experience"?
Well, play the game, lol you will get a sense for where to aim after a while, practice in test flights and use your smaller caliber guns with tracers.
*_How to master… Go up!_*
thank you
youre crazy. so what im doing is wrong, after dive i keep on dogfighting whoever it was on my range 😂. i will keep this all in mind. thanks.

Could I ask what you guys think of Gun Pods on these?
Personally I'm a really bad shot but if the negative is too much I'll not use them.
Thanks
which 109 is ur personal favorite?
How to manually adjust radiators?
K4 and g10 is basically the same engine just k4 uses different fuel
