When JD couldn't answer Tim commented something along the lines of he was surprised by the non answer and it was all the American people needed to know because integrity matters. I thought it was brilliant! I think he might sway some undedided voters with just how likable he is.

It's hard to imagine Vance doing well. For one thing, not only does he not resonate as a "man of the people," he's so socially awkward he barely seems human, and I don't think even he knows what his values are at this point. CNN reporting that Walz is nervous about facing Vance because Walz is a teacher, used to asking and answering questions with kids, not debating aggressively. Walz is determined not to let Harris down, so he's nervous. Vance just got refused to be allowed in a restaurant in Pittsburgh because people don't want to be around anybody who attacked Springfield, Ohio. When Vance was getting ready to come into the restaurant, the cooks came running out of the kitchen, the manager went outside and told Vance he would call the cops if Vance came in, the customers canceled their orders and left!

Msm died when we no longer had the Fairness Doctrine. One must understand what is left of the "networks" are owned by corporations which answer to advertisers; therefore we no longer have journalists and reporters; we have talking heads. As anyone can start a YT channel, so we now have podcasters who show clips of these same media shows, creating a circle jerk of commentators who pass themselves off as journalists (a lazy form of news imho) who may or may not investigate, fact check, etc. This is why I miss (sigh) books.
There are actually some really good investigative reporters on YT, though I agree you have to pick through them. Ones I'd recommend are Beau of the Fifth Column, Mary Trump Media especially Danielle Moodie or the Nerds, and while their clickbait headlines bother me, Bryan Tyler Cohen, Adam Mockler, Victor Shi, and Meidas Touch do have good solid reporting you will likely not see elsewhere. Other than Lawrence O'Donnell, I have moved on to the news of the future.
I think you are also right about the Republicans thinking they could have a beer with Tim. He even talked about being a gun owner when they got to the gun issue. And how he goes hunting and likes the 2nd amendment but we don't need machine guns on our streets. And common sense gun laws are crucial, which is what most of the country WANTS!

Walz might not even feel the need to bait anyone, he seems pretty straightforward but still has his wits about him (“I look forward to debating the guy, if he ever gets off that couch” “I don’t have a problem ordering donuts”) but at the end of the day, I think it will just be yet another event that further showcases Trump and Vance as the weak minded greedy bullies that they are. Especially if Vance does try to use personal attacks. It would just make him appear to be all the more childish and petulant, like he’s clearly trying to over compensate for something 👀😂 How do you do fellow humans? @@barakah856 true but I think Vance could easily make the excuse that he was wrong and that Trump "isn't that bad" once he got to know him...ALTHOUGH the many other Republicans and his own press secretary that worked under him during his first term would beg to differ. So Walz could bring that up as a retort if Vance tries to slither out of that. We'll just have to see what happens.

As a coach and high school teacher, Walz has experience with adolescent men and, as a result, won't let Vance sidestep issues.

Kevin Roberts wrote the Project 2025 Forward BUT JD Vance wrote the Forward for a book written by Kevin Roberts. Relevancy? Doesn’t matter that JD Vance did not write the Project 2025 Forward. JD Vance is fully wrapped up in the foundational drivers and repressive values described in Project 2025 and those associated with Project 2025.
Also, per Jasmine Crockett, Trump's name is mentioned in Project 2025 over 300 times. So much for his not being involved.

I am watching this AFTER the debate and I am certainly finding what cards came up beforehand to be most interesting! You should do a follow-up video looking at how these cards bore fruit in the debate. That would be fun to watch!
Msm died when we no longer had the Fairness Doctrine. One must understand what is left of the "networks" are owned by corporations which answer to advertisers; therefore we no longer have journalists and reporters; we have talking heads. As anyone can start a YT channel, so we now have podcasters who show clips of these same media shows, creating a circle jerk of commentators who pass themselves off as journalists (a lazy form of news imho) who may or may not investigate, fact check, etc. This is why I miss (sigh) books.
There are actually some really good investigative reporters on YT, though I agree you have to pick through them. Ones I'd recommend are Beau of the Fifth Column, Mary Trump Media especially Danielle Moodie or the Nerds, and while their clickbait headlines bother me, Bryan Tyler Cohen, Adam Mockler, Victor Shi, and Meidas Touch do have good solid reporting you will likely not see elsewhere. Other than Lawrence O'Donnell, I have moved on to the news of the future.

I think you are also right about the Republicans thinking they could have a beer with Tim. He even talked about being a gun owner when they got to the gun issue. And how he goes hunting and likes the 2nd amendment but we don't need machine guns on our streets. And common sense gun laws are crucial, which is what most of the country WANTS!
