Well deserved Kevin, you showcased the impacts of nature on the human experience beautifully and it hit home. I told you I was overwhelmed seeing my name in that list and for everyone's sake I cut out my blubbering but I was very moved by it and by your dedication: "To Jonathan, Keep up the enthusiasm, you are making a difference out there." Hit me right in the feels, thanks man

Just rewatched this one and, paid more attention to the book quote/ clips. Jon it is so true you are really making a difference to so many folks like me. Interesting how we all have different takes on the pandemic. For me, it's the sad personal loss of family, coworkers, and friends. Some innocent victims, some through reckless risk-taking who really bought into the lies and conspiracy theories. Health care providers that you'd think should've known better but still fell for the BS coming from the con artists. On selfish level, I really missed skating with my hockey buds for most of 3yrs. Now, even though I'm only going into work a few days month I still find it tough getting any sleep the night before going to the hospital. But on the positive side of all that bad news, I was elated to discover LL and, all other backcountry paddling content your channel brought to my way. So thanks for that!

I love Fall as my favorite season but for camping I agree, it's nicer to have a warm bed to crawl into at the end of the cold, wet weather day the Fall always brings. Great video once again. As a truck driver I've been through Long Lac many times. Used to be one of my rest stops and I always looked out on the lake thinking that would be great to paddle one day.

The power of creation ripples through those jaggering cliffs as the turning tamaracks casts a golden glow across rolling shores that offers protection or food sources for the creature's who claim this home. With true spirit of falls first castings of moody weather made it's grand entrance in blustering winds as lightening dashes through the darken sky to intensify the cold palletizing rain drops that exits leaving the physical body worn for ware that screams for warmth of crackling fire as good food be cooked to nourish the soul for the next epic adventure around the bend.
    Extremely well done John!

Jon, I have to say that your camera skills have really taken a turn to the spectacular. They show a tranquility that is relaxing. The background music, and especially the night shots are awesome. I'm a rookie astronomer, so when I see the norther lights displayed or the incredible starry night shots it makes me pull out the telescope. cheers. keep up the great work. Congrats BTY

No doubt, you are perhaps the best outdoorsman film maker. Your videography is great, and your narration is better than almost anyone else's. In fact, I can't think of anyone who does it better. You, Xander, Maxim, Simon A Bloke in the Woods, and Andy at Kent Survival are my go to when it comes to watching outdoor/camping videos. Oh and Foresty Forest. He's like a mountain goat! LOL! All are always entertaining, often informative, and always satisfying. Stay safe, healthy and warm.

I remember reading about Poutine years ago, got a recipe and Robin and I made it. We double fried the homemade French fries, she made gravy from veal and lamb. Yea good stuff. Anyway, excellent editing on this video, great music choices. I'm a Spring fan myself, love the birds. Thanks for sharing.

Thank you for the example you set of no trace camping and good sportsmanship. This was a really good trip. I like the close-ups of the birds, the moss and lichens, and scenes around camp. don’t apologize, you’re not bothering me just hanging around camp. It’s all interesting and fun and you photograph it so well. I better stop before you get the big head. Thanks again, Dave Purkerson

First video I saw with you was fishing the ship wreck with the Lakers and fleeing off watching the ice move, one of my fav videos in general, I enjoy the hour or longer videos, I enjoy zooming in and stopping it looking at the rock formations, wildlife, the trees and what you talk about. The last 3 months I'm well over 50 hours of listening to you and the background music and nature, I've lost my mother from lung cancer in 96 days of finding out. I'm worried I'm going to run out of new videos but I remember instantly. I'm going watch them all over again. Thank you for giving me peace at the end of the day when I'm going thru hell, it's your skills timeand knowledge saving me. Thank you
