      ​@@luciano-km7mq, I think the fumble against the Giants in 90's NFCCG is the only thing keeping Craig out. It cost them a chance at a 3peat. As for Taylor, he was a good reciever, but not HOF worthy.

      ​@@ThePinkPoodle, I am not comparing the two at all. Of course Thomas was superior to Craig. All I am saying is that fumble has led to the prevention of Craig getting into the HoF. I never siad if he does or doesn't deserve it, but that the fumble is the difference between him being in it or not. Imgine if he hadn't fumbled(especially if they beat the Bills to 3peat), I think e would be in. Had Bettis fumble against the Colts in 2005 Divisional round cost them the game, I think that possibly could jave prevented the Bus being in. Big mistakes in big games have consequences.

      I am partial to the 94 Niners because of Steve Young. Having said that, I have no idea how the 84 or 89 Niners lost any games. They have a combined record of 36-3. Absolutely absurd! And let's not forget the 90 team was a Roger Craig fumble of going back to the Super Bowl. I will never forget that loss. That was over 30 years ago, and I am still not over it.

    I'm a Raiders fan, but those Montana 9ers were fun to watch for sure. Did I say I a Raiders fan, but Montana was my favorite qb ever go figure. No disrespect to Stabler and Plunkett though.

      I’m a Browns fan (unfortunately) and I love to watch 80’s NFL games. I think Plunkett’s throwing motion is so smooth and unique. Anyways, here’s to ya.

    I was fortunate to attend this game. My choices, made during the summer when extra tickets were available, was this game, or a GB at SF game.....the Niners would lose to Makowski and the Packers.....so I guess this was better!

    49:20 why don't they give commercials like this today ? ... I never see anything like this in between games .. well at least these programs still exist at least, I assume ? wonder where that little boy is today .. hopefully he flourished into adulthood

      I’ve wondered the same thing recently while watching these old games. United Way spots were standard for every NFL broadcast. I guess maybe they ended their partnership?? Who knows.

      Meh, Seifert won 2 SB's and a shitload of regular season games.
      He wasnt Bill Walsh but he was a pretty damn good coach.

    SO much stuff to talk about in this thing, what a weird game. Love the double-standard where they focus on Deion at halftime and insinuate that he's a dirty player even though they praise Kevin Greene for basically the same hit a couple of seconds before, 1:41:06.
    Man these commercials are wild, too. WTF is "Doctor Doctor" rofl.

      Yeah there was a shitload of hidden racism with the Deion Sanders hate in the late 80s early 90s.
      I was from a very white part of the country during this period and the N-word was used alot referring to Sanders.

    How often did Tim Brant do Atlanta games? I rarely saw Atlanta play during this time period but through the magic of RUclips he seems to turn up any time Atlanta is involved. Anyway, I thought he was an underrated announcer what with Summerall, Lundquist, Stockton, JB and even Tim Ryan also calling games on CBS.

    I long for the days when the Niners had a complete special teams corp. When was the last time the 49ers had a capable punt or kickoff returner? That helps flip field position at worst or puts points on the board Get it done Shanalynch!

      To be fair, I believe that was Deion's first year as a rookie. He did develop into the best cover corner ever and he eventually played for our Niners.
