I know, it's kind of scary all a baby wipe can do, given that we use them on our babies!
Love your videos. My husband put a take out menu on one of my DACs not realizing that the plastic wasn't covering it because I was working on it.. I made him feel so guilty. Guess who got 3 new DACs. I didn't tell him I knew about the baby wipe trick, I'll have to tell him I just found it on RUclips because I'm going to finish Who you say I am.

You are officially my new fave person!!! I had a bad habit of sticking my arm on the painting !! My painting is the size of a large flat screen tv it’s absolutely huge so very easy to do with that and so many spots lost their stick

Thank for that helpful info. Could also show, of there is a way, how to fix a corner of a double sided which has lifted and shifted. Its now bunched up a little. So no glue in the corner and a wrinkle 😠 from a frustrated newbie

I do have a question: instead of replacing the opaque cover with a clear cover, can we also use parchment paper squares to re-cover the canvas? Thank you for your help 😊❤️😊❤️
Yes you can, just make sure it's Parchment paper and test a small piece on the corner of your kit to make sure it comes off easily

I have Bubbles in my Square diamond painting. I used a knife to cut slits in it, BUT ITS STILL THERE!! I slit it, then pressed it down, and still wrinkles and bubbles

I figured this out the other day myself. Yea!!! Then I saw this on 7/23/2020.
Please tell me if you will. I am just starting this art. I put all the diamonds in little containers and labeled them. Now I go to start, and I realized the stones have a flat side and a point. Now I know the flat go on the the canvas, but there are hundreds of stones, and there has to be a way to get the stones set up where the points are up. How is the fastest way to do this? Or does it matter which way they lay? Will it be noticeable if it is on the photo? Please help. This is a little more to this than I thought. Thank you for your video.😊
The flat side does go down yes, just a little shake of them in your tray will get the right side up

Hi, loved your video. I used a baby wipe to clean my canvas due to paper being stuck on it but the canvas has lost its stickiness. Can you recommend any glue to restore it please?

do you have any ideas of what else to use instead of wipes, because the wipes that I have are fibrous and might make things worse (I accidentally got my sleeve stuck on the canvas 😢)

Damp cloth or wet wipes, even a damp sponge may work.

How do you clean the outer edge that collects whatever is floating around in the air or where you store it just curious
Use Washi tape on the edges, Store them in the closet of my spare room

I am curious - have you ever had a "poured" glue canvas have rivers? I have one now that seems to have lines or ridges all over it (are those rivers)? On another note, I love all of your videos - these mini-videos are such a great idea!
No, those are not rivers, those are impression from the plastic, if you pull back the plastic it leave an impression in the glue because of the gloss. Those are perfectly Normal and have no effect on the canvas.
good tip but i have one problem i must of used the wrong glue as my diamond picture is sticky how can i resolve this
It's supposed to be sticky that's how the diamonds stay on if you meant not sticky them let air dry and sticky should come back, if no use some tac it spray or diamond glue
I have one that my granddaughter was working on 4 yrs ago she found it in her room under her bed today. I removed diamonds because she doesn’t have the kit anymore. I’m gonna have to buy diamonds for it. It had so much dirt and cat hair. Now I need to clean it up and let it dry and add tack it over and over. I just couldn’t bare to trash this. They cost money ya know
I’ve had paper get stuck on a canvas but not like you did. I was able to get it off pretty easily, thank goodness. Why do people iron their canvases?

What about something like plastic wrap, cling film, Saran wrap, cling wrap, Glad wrap or food wrap? My aunt finally started working on the one I bought her and she put plastic wrap on it! Can she use this to fix it or do you have any advice? Thanks in advance!
No she will want to use Parchment Paper
Great video, thank you so much! My problem is I have this lovely DM of cats, but the box came looking like someone had tried to wring it's neck LOL. I mean literally - as though a person had gotten hold of each end and twisted it in opposite directions. The canvas is totally wrecked IMO. Creased (and I mean sharp creases) in the canvas and the glue. I tried to gently slice down the glue, tried pressing it flat for 3 weeks under weight, but nothing has helped. there is so much of the canvas like this I think I'll just have to call it quits and sadly, bin it. The company boxed it well, it's the handling to get it from China to Australia that killed it!
I am sorry to hear that, the only thing i could tell you is to make sure to take pictures and send it to the seller next time. Usually they will send you a replacement.

I used cheap parchment paper instead of investing in release papers. 😢 Now I sit here scrubbing 10” x 25” worth of parchment off my painting with wet wipes. I really hope this works 😭😭😭😭😭😭
Hello! Thanks so very much for your video! I’m a very novice diamond painter and just got my custom in the mail yesterday! I’m so excited to start it but when I started looking at the piece I noticed that I had a major pucker (not sure if this is the same as a river or valley). I watched your video and used my diamond pen to gently smooth it out and I think it’ll be okay to start placing now? Also there are little tiny lines and I don’t want to call them bubbles so I would assume they might be wrinkles. Do those need to be fixed as well before starting? Thank you so much again for any advice!!
Yes you will need to make sure all the wrinkles are smoothed out and Put something heavy on and it so they flatten then you should be good to go

how do you know if its double sided adhesive or poured glue?
Biggest indicator is the clear Plastic instead of opaque

Oh lol oops spelling mistake so I was asking what do I do when I'm done with the whole diamond art and then one of the diamond falls out doni just put water on it and wait till it gets sticky and put the diamond back on 😄
I would put a Dab of glue and put the diamond back on.

Hi Mrs. Coffee. I got an order in that 3 of the 4 canvases had awful rivers in. I’ve tried my best to fix them now, but I have a quick question. I don’t want to make them worse or have them get worse over time, so if I replace the double sided tape cover with parchment paper does that protect it the same as replacing it with the plastic cover? Thanks in advance for your help.
Yes, after Fixing the canvas, I would recommend replacing the cover and rolling over it again with a rolling in or can of something.

I’m a newbie. My first project was a canvas and I sealed it with diamond sealer then wanted to mod lodge it to a serving tray…. Well I used mod pudge over the sealer and now it’s cloudy! Help!!!!! Is it lost forever…

Never heard of the baby wipes not working, if it doesn't work, i guess finding Tacky Spray adhesive on amazon would be your next bet but again the baby wipes trick has always worked for anyone I've spoken too you can even use a blow dryer on Med heat to dry it.
