    I swear dude, whenever the EAS scenarios are made with stuff that can actually happen like the nuke EAS, it’s always somehow so much scarier than even the SCP monsters

    • @DenOfTimbsllc
      @DenOfTimbsllc Год назад

      It’s because these can happen, this one and the WW3 is a very real possibility, it’s scary. So, it’s best to be prepared.

    • @NotYourAverageSimon
      @NotYourAverageSimon Год назад +39

      Because unlike SCPs, those could happen irl, so be scared.

      This EAS along with other eas scenarios that this guy made that has to do with things like wars or nuclear strikes or natural disasters like floods and stuff like that is scarier than his EAS scenarios about SCP’s or the Area 51 aliens or lizard people because unlike things like SCP’s that don’t exist and can’t hurt you, something like a war or earthquake is scary because they are real and could even happen at any moment, I’m not saying that Alert World’s SCP scenarios or things like that are bad, honestly I love Alert World’s EAS scenarios especially his SCP scenarios I basically love his SCP EAS scenarios to pieces, but what I am saying is that EAS scenarios based on real conflicts like Nuclear missiles or Earthquakes or Floods or Wars and things like that will be a lot more scarier because there are high chances that they could happen in real life at any moment, great job as always on your EAS scenarios Alert world!

    Man, as an oceanography major (earth science crosses over into my field quite frequently) I appreciate the research that you did. Many people make EAS scenarios based on a 9.7 or something on the San Andreas fault, but in reality to fault can only really produce quakes of up to 8.3. So the realism adds quite the terrifying jolt (haha) to it, knowing that this would STILL be a terrifying event and will eventually happen with mass casualties.

    • @Tidestrider
      @Tidestrider Год назад +19

      I might think the wave heights and the evacuation distance for the Tsunami is a little excessive, but honestly, with how frequently people underestimate Tsunami potential, it is better to run for the hills haha. Offshore quakes generally spawn tsunamis that can reach the coast in 15 minutes, but that is a minor nitpick of mine that is far outweighed by how happy the accuracy in other regards made me.

    This EAS scenario was once aired on HOLLYWOODTV, in 20:07 PM, January 23rd, 1987, before a massive earthquake struck Los Angeles, damaging most of the city, including some towns around the LA Metropolitan Area, mostly Palley and Subbing. 700 people have died, with half of them being in Palley, and millions have been injured, notably famed actor Charles Crossing, who would die a day later from his injuries. The earthquake damaged a part of Palley Residence in Palley and other buildings, and collapsed some building, notably the Palley Faring TV Tower and the Ford Clock Tower (at that time is was named the Ultima Building).

    Love the content, wanna make some suggestions I suppose.
    To make it more unexpected, it would be possible to put a placeholder broadcast before the EAS broadcast. With the SCP ones, it's suggested by far to portray the SCP foundation as providing needed information for the public to survive, but otherwise will anonymously try to capture the escaped SCP.
