- Emergency Alert System (EAS) scenario about SCP-1337 (The Hitchhiker) Every one of the 25 victims was killed inside their vehicles.
They were driving alone after dark on the 19th days of the past months of August, September and October. Each victim shares the same injury pattern and cause of death: The eyes were gouged out and the torso torn open, ribs and sternum broken, and the heart removed entirely. The missing organs are removed from the crime scene.

7:10 This part shocked me a little. In the original article, after remanifesting in her "aggressive" form after the incident with her living family, if someone ignores SCP-1337 on the side of the road, she will appear inside the vehicle and kill them, and if they stop, she will vanish and re-appear on a different road. They're essentially telling people to do the thing that will get them killed.

Thing is the people sending out the EAS in this scenario don't know this. They just think SCP-1337 is a regular woman who's murdering people if they pick her up.

It is disappointing when an EAS scenario ends when its getting very serious, but then again, I can imagine my own endings. I love this channel. I have been watching since the Christmas of 2021.

The fact that I currently live in Eau Claire, drive an hour and a half to work and back alone, and use I-94 and WW1 Vets Memorial Highway multiple times a week, this shit caught me 100% off guard

Just so you know, in the U.S. if someone breaks into your home it is considered a hostile act and you have the right to defend yourself with deadly force. The Sheriff's department is usually the first to tell you this.
This mf is an anomaly that defies reality, I don't think you can kill it.
Depends on the state. Texas this applies unilaterally, California is the opposite. You're basically expected to magically phase through walls to get away from a home intruder.

bro, these EAS scenarios are so damn awesome, i like how these actually make me feel entertained and even a lil nervous, especially with things that could or possibly will actually happen(wars, for example). and its sick how here it actually looks like the government says that but not some goofy ahhh TV channel in 8PM. so, uh, good job, man!

Dude I love how you handle SCPs videos! If possible, will you ever do SCP-2316? Otherwise known as Bodies in the water. I think it would be the PERFECT SCP to cover 😄
I enjoy these videos and Emergency Alerts as a concept quite a bit, it reminds me of listening to the weather radio when our power goes out. But I have to say, it really does take me out of it when I keep hearing blatant pronunciation errors in these videos. I know that's just how the TTS is saying it, but I'm inclined to think that clear and accurate pronunciation would be important to anyone running stations like these, and thus altering the spelling to make the pronunciation correct would be part of the process. Awkward phrasing is fine, that's to be expected, like with the vampire scenario and the weird ass way the voice said Hemoglobus Removius. But given the anomaly being addressed in this video, saying hitchhiker correctly seems kind of important. I don't know, maybe it's just me, but my eyes and ears get drawn to things like this in all sorts of media.

The interesting part is that by instructing drivers to not stop for the hitchhiker, they’re inadvertently putting them in more danger, since the only way to survive an SCP 1337 encounter is to offer her a ride. Which sums up government diligence pretty well

Your videos continually get better and better, with seemingly no upper limit for improvement. Truly commendable presentation, plot, and execution. If EAS wasn’t such a niche genre you’d be much larger of a channel than you are now

From what I can gather, SCP-1337 is a dead woman named “Mary Talish” whose spirit had become the hitchhiker. However, she wasn’t like this at the beginning.
Before, she would hail a car to hitchhike and give the driver directions that would always end up passing a cemetery where she was buried. After leaving the car, she would disappear and leave behind her sweater. If the driver touches the sweater, they’ll suddenly get a strong urge to return the sweater to her parents.
That’s usually what would happen… until Dr. L******* decided to, without prior permission from the foundation, execute Mary’s parents and destroy their house, leaving nothing but ruins. 19 months after that, Dr. L******* decided to recheck the ruins to make sure that nothing was truly left when something approached him. The SCP foundation found his corpse, mangled exactly like Mary’s; eyes gouged out and heart torn out.
Which brings us to here.

I have a feeling Smokey would manage to further traumatize 1337 ngl. If you read Smokey's article some diabolical things happen to those who are caught. And Smokey was just always a scary guy, 1337 used to not kill people. Smokey appears at like normal driving speeds sometimes, bro is just wild.
I always love the 'oh look, that's the foundation' moment in these videos.
Man, the Thumbnails sometimes gives me night mares, like this one, but awesome vids, keep going.
Just a suggestion but you should really do EAS scenarios involving serial killers or killings. I love the creepy vibe this one has and seeing the photo descriptions and the lack of emotion on their faces when describing a person whom is unknown and super dangerous is a different kind of horror that is super scary in a great way.

I get that making the EAS scenario more realistic, the SCP Foundation is basically non existent, but I kind of miss the response if it gets more serious, Maybe the EAS Know there’s a task force trying to help contain the threat, but isn’t aware of the SCP Foundation.
