Fun fact: Redstone is actually radioactive. On Minecraft Education Edition, when breaking down redstone, it will give you a small amount of Uranium, meaning that redstone's a radioactive material wich causes strange chemical reactions with other redstone because of maybe whatever else redstone has in? (Possible explanation for Redstone blocks and torches activating redstone dust). So, technically... Any redstone using minecraft player would be having radiation poisoning.
Honestly, I’m amazed, I love seeing people mix concepts like this. This is super cool :D I decided to draw it! I imagine the infected to emit redstone particles along with getting extremely red "freckles" and extreme blushing.
I would actually like to see some kind of "nether disease", where nether portals (that naturally spawn with netherrack and nether related blocks in the overworld) become unstable and start corrupting the world like a parasite
I've played with a mod (I actually think it was a datapack) that did that. And to this day I think it should be a real feature. Maybe have to block it off with un-corruptible blocks similar to containing the corruption/crimson in Terraria.
This would be a dope mod idea Ngl. Also, I would actually just have a shack half inside a mountain since living there would be the best situation with an indoor greenhouse.
Actually, given the method that the people affected seem to use to spread the disease (putting droppers deep underground and firing them, causing redstone to go up to the surface), it would be entirely possible to be affected in an enclosed space in a mountain. The best option would probably be to have a sky base that has no direct connection to the surface.

Fun fact: In bedrock education edition, Redstone does actually contain 31x uranium, so technically it could hold some radiation could come from it.

I never would have thought “hey, I wonder what it would be like if you took an Emergency Alert System theme and chucked it into the Minecraft world?” And to think it turned out so well! There are so many concepts out their just like this one and I’m so happy to see them explored
Me realising this was eas made 6 days ago 1/24/23: NOW HOLD ON-
I hope you make more things like this, it gives me a sense of analogue horror while also being so unique in it’s own way
One is being made right now.
Out of all of the EAS scenarios I've seen, this is the first Minecraft EAS Scenario I've seen. You've got a sub from me.
Thank you!
This is super cool :D I decided to draw it! I imagine the infected to emit redstone particles along with getting extremely red "freckles" and extreme blushing.
Bro Mumbo Jumbo gonna be the “rat king” of the redstone infected
This video despite being satire, made me out of breath and worried.
Bro this is way underrated, you deserve more subs.
Thanks!
Oh no P.A.M.A from minecraft story mode is infiltrating worlds like he said he would
use the redstone to extract the uranium, enrich the uranium and create a primer and a neutron intiator and detonate the nuclear weapon
"Just drink some milk." -They
Dude you should totally make more of these, i've rewatched multiple times, it's so good! Keep it up :)))
Mumbo be like
AAAUUUUGGGHHHHHH
Just having a floating sphere base in the ocean is the perfect protection from this disease.
I would actually like to see some kind of "nether disease", where nether portals (that naturally spawn with netherrack and nether related blocks in the overworld) become unstable and start corrupting the world like a parasite
That is already planned.
@@exy_notevil poggers.
I've played with a mod (I actually think it was a datapack) that did that. And to this day I think it should be a real feature. Maybe have to block it off with un-corruptible blocks similar to containing the corruption/crimson in Terraria.
This will forever be **the** best eas senario I’ve ever seen. And I’m so glad this was my first exposure to it. Keep up the great work!
Hell yea, thank you for watching!
Can’t believe it didn’t say “If you get poisoned, drink a bucket of milk.”
oh yeah I forgot
I love these, it's so interesting to think about life in such a world
This would be a dope mod idea Ngl.
@@nikkiofthevalley ah not unless they fill every cave entrance with blocks, presumably they have some time to prepare so in one Minecraft week they have time to build a strong fortress.
Minecraft EAS? Well this is new
this is the same voice as the channel scp realised has. i love it
thank!
I mean, it's the standard creepy text-to-speech voice 🤷
One thing that might verify the idea that redstone is toxic is that in Bedrock, there is an official "Redstone Specialists" skin pack, where one of the skins, the Redstone Miner, (who would be dealing with the most amount of raw redstone dust) is wearing a face mask, implying that the dust is dangerous when inhaled
Me living in a skybase in the end: i have no such fears or weaknesses
the infected firing redstone with dispensers:
It would be interesting seen a EAS Scenario about phantoms Goo creating a severe infection like the plague
Or a massive pillager war EAS Scenario
people with elytra: 😀
people with enchanted netherite: 😀
people with boats: 😀
people with like 50 healing potions: 😀
people with all the weapons in the game: 😀
the person who just joined the server: 💀💀💀💀💀💀💀💀💀💀💀💀💀💀
Please continue doing this kind of stuff. This is extremely awesome. I love this SO much!
Oh, I will. Thanks!
since redstone kinda is like electricity it would make sense through bodily contact (bites, consumption or any kind of contact) the redstone takes control over the nerves overwriting it so it may use whatever it infected as a vessel
It’s nice to see an eas video that doesn’t just end with: The world’s fucked. Everyone died. Screw you. And actually ends on a decent and daunting cliffhanger. Overall, super creative idea, great execution, love it!
Thank you!
In education edition you can decompose redstone and get uranium and magic stuff, so it makes sense.
The best part is, I didn't even know anything about the canonity of redstone.
I was never expecting a Minecraft EAS scenario. Awesome idea man!
Thanks! Good to know you enjoyed it.
Now we need a mod/addon for both mc bedrock and java about this redstone poisoning
Whenever it says “Stay safe, and good luck” all I can think of is “Good Night, and Good Luck” from Dying Light
0:06 firefly
I have an idea so I am going to share it
The end is near
Explanation:
Strong hold portal’s and the area around them have been corrupted by the end
end version of nether corruption
Kinda
this would be a great mod concept.
Imagine Redstone: something of great use that can help people sort their items and make crazy amounts of farms, slowly killing the player through prolonged contect.
imagine minecraft create players in this scenario, escaping via train rail
this is so rad i thought i would never be able to take an eas scenario for MINECRAFT seriously but this is very intriguing and well done props to u bro
Thanks!
Me who is too stupid to use redstone : *I AM BULLETPROOF!*
But my farms! All of my farms rely on redstone and hoppers! This cannot be!
Well, there goes my Omni-Traversable Flying MachineTM, my Self Replicating Redstone RobotsTM, and my trusty Galacticraft Mining MachinesTM.
Now they're off to cause big damage.
maerD's gonna need a gaming chair for this one.
Hoppers technically don't need redstone
this reminds me of the cursed application that was "Minecraft Story Mode".
that game had wither sickness, but a much more dramatic/impactful form of it.
I have a copy of that game with seven seasons loaded. It’s so fun.
This would honestly make a good Minecraft horror/thriller/creepypasta video series
I need to rewatch this video every day so I can be reminded to make a datapack (in which you can _also_ mark and unmark red chunks) to do something like this
