Until the ordinance is removed from the town, I would keep pushing the city mayor and the council. Just to ensure nobody else ever has to go through what you did.
Have you seen the video of the mayor?, there is some kind of arrested development going on there.
Thank you very much Corrigan, that you have activated Mr. T again 🤣🤣🤣
Send this video to Schrodingers Cat.
@bob smith Yes he did. July 25th, 2001 "More first amendment auditors arrested. It never ends."
@bob smith I totally agree. He really just missed the mark with this one.
Also hope to see the continued follow through
Imagine that, right?!
Well done, Batt Man…you continue to serve this movement in very profound ways.
what about the other guy that got the same ticket? Also dismissed?
No, it hasn't.
Love your channel, thank you for what you do.
I knew this would happen because it HAD TO HAPPEN! Now, a FOIA request to find out if anyone else has been charged with this same TYRANNICAL CRIME! If so, then we need to draw attention to this to get their case adjudicated and have their money returned!
They had done it to news ninja the day before i believe
Excellent follow up and end result... great activism here and getting unlawful ordinances quashed! Great to see and hopefully the other gentleman gets the same result!
One cop kept saying our ( Govna) working on this. "You can't film". I think they know just a lil' bit bout Turner v. Driver now!
Yeah he was spearheading a national movement LOL what an idiot
No surprise there then, just shows when they on the run how quick they can get things dropped..
Hope this is not the end!...
Oh! has the other one they gave the other gentleman been dismissed as well..?
Now go back again and school these public servants that gave you the ticket 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
Get 'em Batman!
I have been watching many auditors (I'm not one) for months now, just to educate myself on how to behave in front of a police officer. Mr Turner is a tru professional, he does his homework from the start to finish. No, arrogance, no cursing or profanity, in fact he expressly display some naivity in order for the police to dig deeper their hole of ignorance. Respect sir. I watch all your videos.
Sue the crap out of them. This won’t stop until it starts costing them big bucks.
so if it was dismissed that means they can continue to arrest less educated people that will not fight this
Yet those cops were so aggressive about it...🙄😆
when the court says they sent a dismissal, I would want to know if that was with or without prejudice, so they can't later refile and issue a warrant for arrest, a common tactic for personal vendetta cases, like some auditors have gone through... until its dismissed with prejudice, it means nothing.
The ordinance was unlawful and unconstitutional. How would the city of Corrigan Texas even try this ticket in court? The city would open itself up to a huge lawsuit and waste people's time.
This is the way it is supposed to be done. Auditors like Patrick shouldn't even be followed.
I think they are starting to get the picture. I appreciate what you are doing and thank you
So satisfying! Next step ! Accountability!
Respect Sir! Perhaps the city will be giving you a gift as well. Very nice of them to do that.
We all knew, that would happen ! Now to get proper training for the rest, up to even the mayor !
No surprise here...Very glad for this outcome... I think they are hoping you will take the win and stay out of their jurisdiction.....
I wonder what they would have done if you parked in front of the station with a TESLA recording everything. Funny how they try to make it illegal if you hold the camera in your hand. Well done for making the story and exposing how silly the laws are. I'm from another country and find these videos very entertaining.
ps. even a dashcam, or concealed body camera
A dismissal is not enough! It was a given! I REALLY do hope you follow through with a lawsuit!
A hero to all up us…. Now release your dungeon of lawyers!
FTW, My Brother!!!!!!!!!!! The Constitution & Our Rights Prevailed YET AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!!
Bring on the law suit!!!!!!!!!
They did that because they know you’ll go the extra mile & hold them accountable legally & financially… salute.
They think that with a quick & quiet dismissal there is no grounds for a lawsuit.
Mr Turner was still inconvenienced, cuffed, detained, and forced to ID- all without cause.
Dismissed. Now make em really pay. Make pay money and issue an apology and mandatory civics training for deputy Bubba.
They did some homework & found out who they were dealing with. They going out this man knows his rights and will take it all the way to the Supreme Court. He stays calm, cool, collected and never backs down.
He stays cool, states the facts on the law and keeps going 👍
Ticket dismissed, lawsuit begins. Mr.Turner make these clown pay, cha-ching.
Why would the judge see your ticket and rule on it without you present ? Everything that town does is wrong.
Exactly, it should be the Prosecutors making a motion to dismiss .....then the Court/Judge agrees and dismisses
When someone's so powerful in the 1A community they get city ordinances thrown out and make a whole police department AND city council look fucking stupid. Good work man this is why I'm subscribed to you thank you so much for your content and work it means a lot to me. Be safe of all things.
I hope you still sue them. Easy money.
LOL! The judge/prosecutor saw your name and immediately dismissed it. What a surprise!
Hope you still take Civil action
Here comes the judge!
I knew the moment they took them signs down that they realize they bite off more then they could chew now go for the knock out
Absolutely they deserve nothing less. Such an easy lawsuit to win, they will most likely try to settle out of court. Then Phillip gets paid but they will have no obligation to admit their criminal behavior.
@@garymcintosh2651 that all depends on how much turner accepts , he might not be willing to just take money without pushing for change
@Jorgue Ruelas I agree. The money will come either way make them change so others don't get screwed over unlawfully.
Great work as always 👍
Lawsuit time. Turner v driver violation. Teach them not to violate peoples rights and supreme court case laws
dismissal is an admission of guilt. now comes the pursuit of compensation.
Corrigan : Forgive us!
Cop : What is happening!!
We need to work for a national Philip Turner Day.
I'm sorry but, you were cuffed and threatened. This should go to court anyway.
dismissed, what a total shocker. Time to sue for a false detainment.
Legendary!!
When Turner from "Turner v Driver" shows up to take photos of cops, city attorney figures out quick the ordinance ain't gonna pass muster in court. "Drop the Charges...NOW!"
They got your phone number flagged, thats friggen hilarious!
Caller ID, perhaps.
He edited out the part where he was giving his personal details (watch his hand jump during the edit) . . . which makes it sound like she immediately knew who she was talking to . . . but she was responding to the details he'd just provided (and presumably had just looked up his case on the system).
@@davelordy perhaps but I'd bet they know his number by now anyway.
Now you have got to go back to the police station and go inside to film and ask to speak with those policeman.
Go file 2 complaint forms, and have some auditors, all with cameras, go with you and film the entire process. Like a dozen auditors.
Only after his civil lawsuit or they offer a settlement.
Police Department public lobby is now "Closed due to COVID."
The Police is Dept is CLOSED due to Covid and how convenient it was to post that sign AFTER Phillip was arrested. I guess the idiots inside were told they SCREWED UP big time and scrambled to find a way to stop ppl from filming inside......DUH !
For sure you got to sue these oath breaking cops and council!!!!
lawsuit time! take it up the mayor!
He should sue that is what makes him so good is the follow through.
apparently, shutting down their phone systems for days with a call flood had some effect
for Dayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyys
They want know part of Mr. Turner. LMAO
I *knew* this case would be dismissed. Congrats! No having to use a vacation day from work. (I'm the one who contacted you on Twitter regarding preventing Miufly recording shutoff via modification.) Stay strong, brother. And be safe out there!
YOU ARE
SOFA KING. GREAT. LAW. MAN
GREAT RESPECT 2 YOU A GREAT MAN PHILIP TURNER 👏 👍 💪 🙏 🙌 👌 MAY GOD LEAD YOU!
