- I made this magnetic Grinding holder a few years ago and I've really have used it a lot. So I figured I would share this simple but very useful tool. For the plank I used Baltic Birch plywood (16"x 4") because it's very strong and also the 3/4 inch ply is very close to the thickness you need to match the magnets depth. I used the 150 magswitch from @MagswitchTechnologies Like I said in to video 1 5/8 forstner bit is very close to what you need for the magnet holes but 40 mm bit would be ideal. For years I use this with just two magnets to hold the metal down and a clamp to fasten it to the table. This way you'll only need to buy two magswitchs or go with the deluxe one with three magnetics. Have fun with this simple but very useful build and be safe.

I love it when you talk to yourself 😀 always makes me laugh!
Thanks, glad you enjoy it. It’s fun to do 🤣🤣
Videos make me look forward to see you again, Mike!
Thanks! We will meet again my friend, hopefully soon....
Professhional 👍👍 Great to see your post 😄😄
Thanks 👍👍
An easier way to find center points between two holes is to measure the distance between either the left side of the holes or the right. No math needed. BTW, I like the magnet idea and may have to use it. - Chris
Nice!!! Interesting, I like that way! thanks for sharing....👍
Another cool video Mike 👊👊👊
Thanks Bro!! Hope all is good 👍 👍
@@TheMuzShop doing great thanks, just started filming some stuff for the upcoming season after setting my new indoor studio up.
I think I saw that on IG.... Can't wait for the next video, keep up the awesome work.
When you cut those corners on the miter saw the stop block should have been on the on-site end of the board.
Cool. Thanks 🤷🏻♂️
