What an insightful podcast. I have always been contemplating intermittent fasting but was unable to do it beyond 12/13 hours. It would put stress on me. Thank you so much for such valuable information and also correct way to do it and also who should do it. Thank you.
If you have enough protein healthy fats and fibre in your meals you can do 16 hrs because you will burn fat for energy. If you cave in it is because you need more protein fats and fibre.

Very informative.... please help answering my question.. l am 61 years old , (90 weight )woman. Doing IF of almost 18 hours... feeling relaxed from fatty liver grade 3 . *Will IF increases sugar ... ? as i am doing. My sugar increased by 2 points ( 110) in fasting. l hv no sugar intake.

Thank you both a lot, I have a habit of taking tea in the morning which is not stopping even after a lot of efforts, last year I lost 4 kg weight in 20 days fasting which I am maintaining, want to start again how can I control my tea cravings
All good but you didn't provide any foods that we can have for. Breakfast lunch and dinner during intermittent fasting. I am happy to follow 10am to 6 pm schedule but clueless on what to eat when, that part is not covered in your episode.
Hi. We have talked about what not to eat. We have also covered that it should be protein rich meals. We have talked about the order of eating carb, proteins and fibre. Pls watch it again for better understanding.
I am following 16hrs fasting everyday. It's been 6months and I don't see any result. I am also walking 10km everyday. Can you advise what is missing in my fasting routine.

Can intermittent fasting be continued for lifetime as I am comfortable doing it since 1 month
It’s mostly safe if you don’t have any health condition/medication. You can do it moderately 14-16 hours but pls check with a nutritionist and doctor.
