I've just purchased a pair of Evolve 30Ms in white and I'm really looking forward to getting into using them. They're a phenomenal speaker for the size and perfect for smaller functions. Not only that but they're lightweight and fit in the back of a small car.
I completely agree. I always get compliments on the sound. People can't believe the amount of bass coming out of something that size. And the clarity is amazing.

The truth is I bought one for personal use for my home small gatherings but when I realized how great they sounded, I bought the other one. Now I use them for smaller gigs under 50 people. Can't really say anything negative about them at all other than the price. But I can tell you that you do get what you pay for. Top notch sound in a very compact foot print. I love them.
@@2332gregor Thanks for that info. Really seems like the 30m is a great unit. Because I want also want to be prepared for larger events and venues, I’m also considering the Bose L1 Pro 16. Other than tremendous sound and a range of 180 degrees, the EV 30m is superior in my opinion. We’ll see. Thanks again.

@@Andy1x older thread, wondering what unit you ended up with? On the fence vs PRO8. I just keeping reading about the design flaw (column connections) and it concerns me. These sound more the 'band'. After many performances, I maintain the majority wants that umph - these are it!
@@solojim Though i had to wait 60 days after ordering, I went with the EV 50m. Really happy with the decision. I've owned other Bose products over time and really wanted to like it, but overall the EV seems to be the superior product and better made. I researched even further and learned this after speaking with Evolve (aka Bosch). Manufacturers warranty is 3 year - full and not limited. For legit claims they will pay shipping cost from and to your location. Bose does not, at least per the minimum wage call center employee I spoke with. EV/Bosch support seems superior to me too. Note: The Guitar Center advisor obviously tried to get me to buy their pro coverage, and lied about it saying only GC pays shipping for claims. I declined their coverage since Evolve/Bosch states it is free under the 3 year warranty. 👍
The connection was easy, I just bought a dual xlr to headphone jack cable and connected the xlr side to the back of the speakers and the headphones jack end to my tablet.
@DadPreneur LifeStyle Well if it's bass your after I would go with the 310's and the Sub. The 15's will give you a longer throw and fuller sound but not a ton of bass especially when on the stands.
@DadPreneur LifeStyle The only reason I downgraded from my 18 in sub as you can see from my other videos is because of my bad back. Or else I would still be rockin that thing! I absolutely love bass and never do gigs without one. Alto did a great job with the new 3 series 12 in. I recently did a party of 40 people outdoors with 2 12's and one 12 in sub
@@2332gregor i finally got my set up 2 TS310 and 1 Sub TS312s the base as you mentioned is a beast! sounds hard as far as quality you are also on point it sounds ok but not great, i will consider in the future if i'll get a pair of 30M instead. thanks for your advice and comments !
Honestly man it's a tough call, the alto 12 goes a bit deeper but the dual 10's on the EV's sound more powerful just because there is 2 of them. Also u get a bit clearer sound on the EV in my opinion.
@@2332gregor this 2x ev set sound amazing clean and bas is so low in my headphones. A ve maui 28 g1 now and the hight freq is so noise i thing the ev set is better in all freq More consistent. NOW a think buy 2x ts208 and 2x 312s, thank you for answering my question!!! 🙂

Thanks for sharing but I have to admit, the Altos 8s and the 12 inch sub packed more sound and punch than the 30s! Great demonstration.
Yeah that little alto sub is definitely a beast! I want to get another so that I can do sub coupling.

Are you able to show how you connected your two EV 30m?

What cable u need to link that 2 speakers together?
It's called a Y cable I believe. One end comes with a standard headphone jack and the other 2 ends are XLR
What sounds better and harder between this set up the the alto ts308 with the ts312s I actually have the ts310. Just wondering your input thanks
Honestly bro I think the Alto setup hits harder only because the 12 in sub. That alto sub is a beast! But you do get clearer sound with the ev setup.
I also see you have the ts315. So just the 315s no sub vs ts310 w ts312s what do you recommend?

I used a y cable I picked up from guitar center. Has 2 xlr males and one headphone jack.
