    Needs something to rejuvenate the plastics, especially on the rear bumper - will give it that extra bit of class 👍🏻

      Yup exactly my toughts he should try car pro perl or autofinesse revive trim dressing to bring those faded plastics pieces back to life,and i believe they can be also used for tire dressing aswell

    • @mattclarke6773
      @mattclarke6773 9 дней назад

      @brufa1 you should use solvent based sealants and dressings on exterior trim. Much better longevity than any water based products like Perl, which washes off. But they are more expensive.

    Nice you did this yourself, even better to have a nice clean dry place with good lighting to do the work.

    Spread all the polish quickly on the lowest setting then turn it up. Stop getting it splattered everywhere, mainly splattered onto neighbouring panels

    Great work looks like a different car
    Keep nibbling away to make it factory fresh as you can with in reason
    Love looking after older cars because they just keep going.
    Great job thank you

    Looking 100% better than was at the start of the project. Will the bumper not just clip back in and the section above the rear bumper sand down and cover with Carbon wrap ❤ you could do the same to the lower section of the rear bumper ❤

    Me parece que eres el típico joven que hace las cosas por hacer, es decir de forma poca profesional y sin muchas ganas. Podrías al menos haber mirado algún tutorial de como pulir un vehículo en tres pasos , y como retirar bien el recubrimiento cerámico. Nada más comenzar dejando el bote de recubrimiento cerámico en el suelo me dije: con lo despistado que es, seguro que lo tumba con el pie. Si una persona se acostumbra en hacer las cosas no perfectas o casi perfectas; se convierte en un hábito poco recomendable. No te lo tomes a mal, pero acostúmbrate en hacer siempre las cosas lo más perfectas posibles. Gracias por el video Lucas.👍

    Good video Luke. Shame it wasn’t in 4K though 😏 Detailing is definitely more your skill set. I’d recommend gloves with sealant use etc! The old Audi is coming up well though 👌🏼

    need gloves when using coatings mate - you're transferring all the coating straight on to your clean cloths plus its really bad for you and will absorb through your skin. Also using wayyyyyyy too much ceramic coating - id get about 4 cars from bottles that size -few drips on the pad at a time not a few pippets. Also im sure when you moved it outside and in the daylight, unless you went through 50 or so cloths off camera you'll still have lots of coating residue/highspots - especially with the amount of coating you put on there and the Gtechniq coating is really bad for it in my experience. Looks alot better though

    Much easier and less messy to start polishing without dabbing compound over the panel… it’ll still spread as far as you need it to if you prime the pad/panel on a lower speed before finding your cutting/refining speed. Secondly, I appreciate this is the first time you’ve coated a car but when “levelling” your coating with your initial cloth, do not swipe around in circles as you are essentially moving the coating rather than “working it in” - work over it in straight lines to remove the excess after it has flashed off and then use your second to take the remainder off which will inevitably leave you with no high spots and a flawless finish.
