3:37 every playable character has that mark somewhere on their body. We don't know much other than it's likely this universe's equivalent to genshin's visions as they light up whenever the character uses their ultimate. I hope you come back for a part 2 video with all the character trailers as well as the opening cinematic which is just 👌
I'm very intrigued by the fact that some of the marks look similar to marks that seem to be associated with enemies. Can't wait to learn more about the lore! Also, yes! I'll definitely try to do a reaction video for the character trailers and opening cinematic if I have time 🤩
@@himetsukich lol its not like what you think haha . its not like vision its Your contract on the goddess that sent you . Its mark of contract to a goddess that sends you on wuwa's world and their skills are coming from that bottle the characters carry with them and also act as your bag in game
i haven’t been keeping up with wuthering waves all that much, but i have to now that Tsuki’s into it! also glad to see a fellow Jiyan enjoyer (teal dragon spear xiao guy)
I also haven't followed it super closely, but it does look very cool, and I hope I'll have time to check it out when it launches 🤩 also, yes! I like teal Xiao guy hehe
The characters are called resonator there are people that mutated due to the lament influence (the calamity that transformed an earth exactly like our into this ) and those are their mark think of it like genshin visions
I also kept away from any info for this game ^^ About the dialogue „What part will you safe?“. I assume it’s more about body and soul. Like will you stray true to yourself or will you get corrupted.
i’m so excited for it, from what i’ve seen it seems to have a similar level of difficulty as Punishing Gray Raven, but thankfully without the color ping mechanic which was not my cup of tea
To the point of fighting bosses with the argument: "Getting used to it." ... With the time you getting used to all bosses ... even in the games like Dark Souls 3, Elden Ring and etc. xD If you fight a boss over and over and over again ... there is no wonder to get the feeling of ~ "ehhh boring" ~ with the time. If you ask me the real challenge to can enjoy a game for a REAL longer period of time is, without break it up, possible forever: "Allow yourself, with all your mental strength you have, to don't play it the whole time, give yourself breaking times, before you are getting close on your "get boring" point." :3 ~ I'm addicted to Genshin, but the conscious breaks allow me to enjoy the game extremely well to this day. ^^ ... Sure it helps me, doesn't mean it helps you, but I wanted to share that it can help.
I think the thing that keeps me engaged is honestly the story. I still love Genshin, but I don't like farming and don't plan to ever build a character again tbh because I don't like the level of investment required. It's the story that keeps me interested and wanting to come back to the game, so hopefully this game will also have a good story. The combat does look pretty fun, though!
the difference in wuwa and g.i the goddess in wuwa is like the rovers lover lol the goddess watches you becuz it cares about rover but has no choice but send u to save the world looks like it and on g.i the goddess hates u
I haven't seen much of this game so far, and am unsure if I'll play it myself. I'm an indie game dev, and these games need a lot of work and care to succeed. Like you pointed out, Genshin's combat is simpler by far from first glance. That's because people like me exist, who have to get used to playing in countries where the company doesn't have servers directly. My ping tends to be 150-200, and I remember a few months where I just had to stop playing as my ping went to 220. The lag between pressing a button and an action taking place is just way too much. In this game, which looks heavy on the parry and dodge mechanics, if they implement those mechanics on the server side instead of the client side, that will be unplayable in a lot of countries. Will it then reach global popularity like the devs seem to be hoping with this budget? I really hope they are investing in servers, and not just spending the budget on flashier graphics. The character models look great, but is the combat distinguishable between character styles? Will be interesting to see if they can pull it off. Having healthy competition in the Genshin space is long overdue. Worst case scenario, I'll just follow the story along with your playthrough if you decide to do it :D
Yeah, I can see where it would be tough to play a game like this with a lot of lag. Hopefully they can figure that out because it does look super fun, and I definitely want to try it if I have the time to when it finally launches! I agree that competition is healthy, so I hope this game will be good
@@himetsukich No pressure to play the game, or record it as well! It does look fun, and I still do want the game to do will even if none of the community here plays the game.
Dw the parry and dodge mechanic is on the client side, even if u have higher ping it wouldn't really do any delay input, tho in co-op this surely be necessary to have lower latency
@@hei4676 That's interesting. So in that case, everything is rendered client side unless it is co-op? I believe Genshin does have a mix of interactions being client and server side, especially for boss battles and chests. This is usually done in order to prevent players from cheating on harder fights, as these games rely on sales by showing tough battles and promoting player spending to try and get higher constellations. Would be so much fun to look at the code for these games!
@@onslaughtx8309Ye based on what I've seen so far, I've watched some streamers playing CBT and picking different servers- like they're located on asia but picking NA thus having 200+ ms ping but doesn't really ruin their playing experience and didn't complain abt it..

no elemental reactions, they focus more on the "intro skill" and "outro skill" when you switch party members if i remember correctly
