- Today for we shall elucidate the campaign of darkness and night: the Thramas Crusade.
Orchestrated by the Warmaster of Chaos: Horus Lupercal to stall the Dark Angels Legion from interfering with his plans, the Night Lords proved to be a fitting opposition to these proud and noble warriors.
For three years the protracted and grueling war between the Lion of Caliban and Night Haunter of Nostramo waged, a Crusade which left scars on both sides of this bloody saga of the Horus Heresy.

This Crusade made me realize that Horus was no longer the honorable man as he carelessly send his brother and legion to their certain death against the Dark Angels, and especially when the Night Lords may not be able to regroup with them. This Crusade broke the Night Lords Legion and ever since then they are just mere warbands for the next ten thousand years.

@@frankfelerski1043I agree, theyre savage enough to hit with lightning strikes and hit hard, I'd argue the alpha legion were the best, but Horus was aware not every element of the alpha legion was truly at his disposal, so konrad and his sons were the next best choice.
Extremely ignorant of the lore and no, this did not "break them" as it has been proven and written out in many other books. You also forget that the majority of Night Lords were here fighting the Lion, NOT all of them. Besides you forget that the Dark Angels are the real traitors
That ending speech, resonated with me so well. Being a dark place, due to a recent loss in my life of my fiancée disappearing from my life and desperately tossing myself to a panic to remedy the situation. A cool level head, may have helped her back to me side, and my desperation and panic, may have only served to strengthen her departure. Love how my legion and overall wh, still finds a way to be relatable.
I know the pain brother, for this is one of the trials we must face, within ourselves. This too, will come to pass as long as you stand tall and change for the better.
@JudicialBrat I faced the moment of considering the easy way out, and after 3 months of isolating myself from everyone. I hoped things would go back to the way they were. Having to come clean and tell everyone in my life everything. Still struggle with the thought of it even now.

Both the Lion and Konrad grew up in desolate,dangerous and cruel lands, but the Lion was raised by the knights of the order and some resemblance of family while Konrad just grew all by himself.

There should be rules to unite all the races. I always wanted to run a campaign. Where the main enemy faction is a federation. All the players obviously compete for resources ect ... But there would be one faction of all the factions independent from their original one. What could possibly be more heretical in 40K. Than a faction of All Space Marine types, Eldar, Ork & Tau....No the bugs would be the exception. What would be funniest about the federation. Is that the SM would be technically true to the original imperial truth. The Tau would be truly secularists & the Eldar more sage like. Imagine a Primaris Heavy squad of non-chaos Iron Warrior or Death Guard. Night Lord Primaris Jump Pack Marines. All mixed together maybe with an Eldar Psyker in the mix & Tau support fire lol & Ork screening units Jesus Christ that would be awful to fight against

Funny it took extreme levels of weapons to even break the Night Lord's to a manageable level. Not bad for a bunch of "murderers" and then it took the support of the white scars so in essence.. two legions against one and yet, everyone say the Night Lords are cowards lmao.
