I recorded this video during Soke Inoue's seminar held in Caorle (Venice, Italy) on 18-20 October 2013. The seminar was organized by Sensei Francesco Favaron, founder of Inoue-Ha Shito-Ryu Italy:

I think this Karate master is the only one in utube explaining karate so well and detailed like school lecture OSH
i cant look at him and say he is not gonna be in this world in 2 years, i mean look at him So speedy and powerful. he was a genius of karate no doubt, we will miss you sir
Of the time I have spent on the mat with a Master, the little things they say are far more valuable than any technique or kata that they may have shared.
O boy, this is the essence and you share this to all of us. Thanks Grand Master Yoshimi Inoue. Thanks Master Alexander.
Can somebody explain more about the bent on our shoulder to strengthen our posture?
PLEASE! do not stop uploading these. Can't tell you how grateful I am. I have spent more than 5 years trying to understand the principles he's trying to teach. And unfortunately I had and still do not have anyone to give me feedback and tell me what I was attempting was correct or not. I got frustrated for so many years and got several injuries our of trying to apply but in a wrong way. And to finally have these more clarifications and teachings of Soke Inoue, means a lot to me. Because the more I understand the more healthier I get and avoid injuries. And it might mean that after all these years of trying I might actually get to do my passion correctly. Thank you, Alessandro. :')
My pleasure Hamed, I’m glad you find these useful. There are more to come!
@@AlessandroTimmi Yes please. I really need to do good healthy Karate! I'm so tired :( But I'll keep trying to understand and perfect my passion! Thanks for your help :)
@Hamed Ashraf..late Shihan Inuoe,s principals of “body mechanics” is close to Shukokai Karate, just by looking I see similarities,Kimura Shukokai to be exact.:)
@@nunosilva7505 Thank you!
Hello from France !! Please continue to upload and share this kind of video !! It is very useful, very interesting and clear ! I watch these videos with a great smile all the long, I love it ! Can't tell you how grateful I am !! Thank you !!
One of the most eye opening videos on biomechanics I have ever seen! I for one, had pre conceived views about the feeling of being muscular in techniques & this blows that out of the water. Even I will have to loosen up.❤
he was one of the best karate masters ..., Thank you Alessandro !
My pleasure, I agree, thank you for watching Ramis.
Thank you so much for these videos! There's no-one that could compare to Yoshimi, after 6 years you gave us such a gift!
You are welcome, I’m really glad to see that his teachings are valued and appreciated as they deserve.
I don't know bout Karate. I learned Judo and BJJ. We learned about connection, leverage, technique, position, base so when we're pushed we're not imbalance and the Sensei in the vid seems show the same as my coach taught. When he pushed the girl's hand, the girl lost her balance, and the next time he pushed it again the girl stood still, that's what we call connection in BJJ. You connect to your opponent so you can't lose balance and won't fall
........@@AlessandroTimmi
I can not understand much of anything he says, but it looks like he is very knowledgeable of the body and why this and why not this is all known. To him anyhow.
Alessandro, thank you for your recordings ! 🙏🏻
My pleasure Bohus!
Very helpful ~☆ eye opening 本当にありがとうございます
Thank you for posting this. Inoue Sensei was my Sensei's teacher, and I only met him once before he died, but this video shows just how good of a master he was, and reminded me why I do Aikido. Osu!
These minute details are so easy to overlook. Thanks for sharing this wealth of knowledge. OSU!
this video is a treasure for me.

Thanks a lot Master ... thanks for this videos sensei ... Inohue Ha ... forever
Oh how I wished I had of trained with this Master, even for one time. So many absolute gems of Budo advise, that he is imparting to those willing to Watch & Listen.
Simple, basic but very important aspects of Karate with practical demonstrations which shall be useful to any forms of martial arts
Alessandro thank you very much for the next material for analysis. Soke Inoue had an amazing feeling of his body and was able to show it.
Thank you for these tips 🙏
Thanx for uploading!!!

He really knows his stuff. Intimate details for balance and strength. Gracie's have jiu jitsu and they are the tops, where they too tell these intimate details. But, it'd be good to know what this guy knows. I'd be satisfied to be able to speak Okinawan and get training from him. Not to be bad, no. But the actual skill and ability, which requires hard work and time, yet with knowledge he knows, it'd give reason to keep going and striving for perfect execution!
Gracies 😂 They took the knowledge from old Japanese Masters too like you wanna know from Inoue. Cant compare Gracies to him
Thank you we want more if you have?
Yes, I do have more. They are coming soon.

I wish the audio was better. I couldn’t understand most of his English nor could I understand the Spanish. English subtitles would have been helpful.
Not spanish, is italian

Simple alignment of body , no power with no alignment , the black belts should already be WELL aware of this already. They do not understand why he just showed this to them.
The more advanced Masters become, the more they indulge in perfectioning the basics. It's the only way of getting better any anything, at least once you know the moves and patterns. Why would he waste his time with the stuff everybody can read.
I dont kmow how to relax my shoulder, If I try to, my whole body will have 0% energy
They always patting my shoulder and say relax
Is it because im skinny and my bones is visible near shoulder?
Thats the problem in western anatomy. Asian people have another understandment of "relaxing". You have different muscle twitches so different muscle parts but also the psychological effect plays a role. Those are simple things at first sight but if your education is wrong or otherwise you wont learn it in a lifetime thats why its important to start as a kid. He says that you have a movement reach in your shoulder not only in the arms or your lower body. So the shoulder acts like a pistol injecting the bullet quick. The shoulder snaps not pushes. One far example is someone like Ali who snapped whipped his arms to punch instead of force stiff it. Difference is Karate stance is strong but relaxed and in one moment you explode and get stiff to re relax and end stiff at the end.

7:25 in BJJ you base like that you're going to get pushed or thrown. Put your hips back a lil bit, hands in thighs, base not too wide but enough
fuck bjj, this is a different martial art.
Look at people in background with legs crossed, lounging, like they're on their back patio

It's odd to me, like the two don't go together, old Asian Shaolin Temple looking Martial artist with white, taking a break from mall shopping people in background. LOL, no biggie though, I guess my brain is wired wrong
Poor behavior in the presence of this caliber of teacher...shameful.

The more I watch these videos, the more I hate the venue.
What the hell, did they rent out an airport terminal for a karate seminar?
Yes, the air conditioning was incredibly noisy.
@@AlessandroTimmi Air conditioning? What about the constant announcements?
@@johnleonard3806Its probably cause he was on a tour and had no time to stay longer. He was teaching then took the next flight away.
It's normal because You can't relax your shoulder without relaxing your mouth.
Una volta ho tirato un pugno ad un idiota che tenne la bocca aperta. Perse moltissimo sangue e un pezzo di lingua
May God forgive it: "Dear Master Yoshimi, Now in Heaven, Blessed be your name, for what you have shown us and taught us. Thanks and R.I.P. Paul, 67, iretired instructor of Karate. Thank you so much.
relaxing shoulders, sure. the open mouth thing is questionable.
For sure, counted teeths everywhere
What's you're rank?
I see it as a way of helping the body to be relaxed, especially in a sports Kata context.
Only for western people 😁
It looks like shotokai
why do people bother with this crap?
It’s an interesting way to think about how we use our bodies. In Tai Chi, we call the overall looseness and relaxed focus in our bodies “song”.
Cuz you are an idiot
@@Tane77 Sundo is great.

How is this fake?
This is so useless. I’m sorry but I did Kyokushin karate for 20 years and recently BJJ for 4 years. I wish I got involved in BJJ many years ago. Karate is so ineffective to any grappling art. IMO.
Hello Dear friend! You are so right when doing sport practice that martial arts are not so effective and please keep in your mind that presently the martial arts exist for self-perfection and not for killing as was before, but can be used for.
Pff Kyokushin is a Muay Thai wannabe 😂 When did you ever saw real Karate legends in an MMA bout? They do it for the tradition and the values and probably could kll 70% of the Kushins with 1 effectif attack to a vital point. This man is past 60 and is faster as most 20yr old competitors. BJJ is also jsut a cut down Judo wannabe.
