- This is a re-edit of a trip I did in November of 2023, directly after I quit my job. I shot it as three separate videos, but during the trip I recorded everything in between each camping location. This version includes never before seen content, so that you can watch the video as I experienced it. A six day road trip to three camping locations.
Thank you all so much for watching. I hope you enjoy this trip as much as I did.

Thank you all so much for watching. I hope you enjoy this trip as much as I did.
Idky this video reminded me of a video you did a while back and had some car troubles from a tiny little car. What's the date on that video? Love the real content !
Sam, I like your voice overs!
It’s not about the journey it’s about the fine details that go along with it. You’ve had a wonderful adventure in six days, I look forward to the next one!
Thanks so much man!
Camping in a rainforest has it's drawbacks . Wet , wet , wet . Thanks for the trip Mr Bananas
Sure does. Go look at cost to cost missing 411.
Thanks for watching!
Fantastic movie, Sam. What an incredible adventure- thanks for sharing it with us 👍🏽
Glad you enjoyed it!
The dude abides. Sorry I've been absent. On dialysis and nearing the end of my days. Look forward to your videos. Be well.
Brother I'm so sorry to hear that man. Definitely keeping you in thoughts friend ❤️ Send me an email and I'll send you links to some patreon content: sam.rotroff@gmail.com
@@CampingwithSamBananas email sent and thank you
Sorry to hear that❤
Yikes. Pass well, brother. I hope it’s peaceful with no regrets.
Prayers for you, Dude. I believe in miracles. Do you? My grandson is wailing on a kidney (s). He’s 25. And, you’re right. The Dude abides. 🙏❤️
For the sake of the banana flask!!! I love ya Sammy!!! You rock my world man!
PS thank you brother!!!
Sam, you the Man!! But then again, YOUR SAM BANNAS!!!!!!!
Haha you got that right 😉
Great video Sam. I enjoy all of your videos. A man sure needs to be in shape for a lot of those hikes. I love that ending tune. Leaning. Thanks again
Thank you for stopping by!
I hope you can do stuff like this forever ! So happy for you
Wow nice video I actually miss camping out in the woods back when I used to ride fright trains from state to state
What an amazing camping trip. It's so beautiful in the mountains. Six days of awesomeness. Thanks Sam! 😊👍
Thanks Karen, nice to see ya!
Great Video. Keep em coming.
Thanks Dan!
Love how Sam takes you with him everywhere he goes. Thinking about hitting E-Bay to buy a bannana flask..lol....Oh yeah, man, I'd love to try Mrs. Bananna's dehydrated chili. Every time Sam makes that, it looks so good.
Woot! Woot! Check out my description I have. A link for the banan flask
Love ur videos. The rainy ones are the best. Me and my hubby stayed in tent for six months due to being homeless. It wasnt all bad. We had a few rainy days and one very icy day and night. The icy one was scary. Keep up the good work!
Great video Sam and the scenery was spectacular. Thanks for the 6 days of adventures.
Glad you enjoyed it!
Hi Sam what a beautiful video 😇 my kids loved the salmon swimming across the street. That was amazing. Your videos are so good. That shots are so good. Everything you show is amazing. Thank you for sharing that letting us see it. See you next week.
Thanks so much! Very glad you enjoyed it
Your editing is excellent---- a lot of work on top of everything else you do. Your videos make me feel like I am THERE ! Thank you
Thank you for that!!!
That was AWESOME!!!!!!!
😎👍🏻👍🏻
Thank you! I worked really hard on that
Truly enjoyed this. Truly. Thank you!
Glad you enjoyed it!
Awesome adventure 💯 thanks for sharing it with us all. Love it all but that shot with the salmon swimming across the road WOW 🤯
Haha yes! I was in shock, knew I had to grab a clip of it
I thoroughly enjoyed your video. Great views! Great experiences! The Pacific Northwest is beautiful, but you're always welcome back in Michigan. Keep up the good work Sir.
Thanks man! I'll be back in Michigan very soon👍
Thanks Sam for another great video. The scene with the salmon trying to spawn was incredible I have never before seen or heard anything like this
Thank you! I was blown away too
I’m enjoying your journey, you’re in my back yard. An awesome addition to car camping would be a gazebo. They fold up pretty small and are a great cover on rainy days. Remember, we all learn as we go along, and learning is half the fun . Happy travels !
Thanks for the tips!
Don't normally watch videos this long, but it was well worth it! Thanks, Sam👍
Glad you enjoyed it!
Hi Sam love the Water 💦 falls. And the Scenery is just Gorgeous Beautiful Awesome Amazing 😊

Enjoyed the experience you have just given to us. I have only driven around this area. I was trailer camping and it rained for 6 days. Thank you for capturing the lush flora!
Haha yep! It always rains up there 🤣
Amazing views, thank you!!!
Thanks man!
Bringing back memories of a 10 day camping trip in Northern Michigan. Rained every day. Day 8 we gave up and rented a cabin.

I love it out here on the Olympic Peninsula. Land of slugs and sasquatch. In November it's definitely the Pacific North WET! Thank you for showing such a beautiful place through the Bananavision lens!

Dear friend you’re the greatest on adventure camping world thank you so much for andGOD blessed you and your sweet family
A great thanks from Glendale California Jirayer
Thanks so much
Best of luck with your adventure.
Thanks!
I love this long video of yours, as usual ASMR from nature is the best thing to hear and camping while raining makes more enjoyable to watch.
Glad you enjoy it!
Hi Sam... Thanks for the video. Ref., that truck in the middle of the night: that would have tripped my ah detector, and would have immediately called the make/model/color/tag in. Sounds like some locals getting opportunistic. Be safe. Hey Mrs. B!
That could have been! Also hi from Mrs 🍌
0:06 once again congratulations and keep pressing forward
Thank you!
Watching your videos every weekend has become a tradition for me and the kiddos, always excited to see a new upload!

Amazing scenery, happy to see more of your journey Sam!
More to come!
Pemandangan sungguh menabjubkan

6:42 - Watching Sam figuring out how his rainmaking superpowers work is a lot like witnessing Superman learn to fly or Spiderman's first try at web-slinging - Greatly looking forward to the Killian origin story next! 😉
Haha nice man 🤣👍

Thanks Sam. Great video, amazing views and scenery. But, too much rain for me, and I'm from England originally 😂😂😂
Haha I hear ya!
We live in scary times sadly!
Unfortunately
Breathtaking!
Love you mom!
27:47 amazing
Looks like you’d have FAR MORE chance of finding Bigfoot than finding some sunshine… Ain’t much fun hiking and camping in the rain… 😂 I DO appreciate that you made the most of a dreary trip!! 👍👍
Haha yep! We had that one nice day and it was like an oasis of weather 🤣
Beautiful stuff Sam...
I always look forward to your videos because it makes me wish to be out there too.
Right now life doesn't permit it.
So thanks. 🤙
Sorry to hear that man, but I'm gonna keep these keeping for you
Epic adventure recap Sam. Personally I would of been miserable in all that constant rain. I don't like to be wet and cold without being able to dry out. But you're the champ for sure. Amazing scenery. thanks for sharing it all with those of us who will never have the chance to see those same places. Best to you and Ms. Bananas as always.
Thanks for watching Linda! A big hello from Mrs 🍌
What can i say other than I'm glad its not me out there! I traded my tent in for a 40ft camper and haven't regretted it at all! Hats off to all the cold and wet hard core tent/ trap campers out there 👍🙏
Haha nothing wrong campers At All!!! Any way you enjoy nature is a good way to
Ahhh so easy to watch… you’re a gem….do you carry bear spray in dont see it attached as you hike, please do buddy ! And shout out to Rob !
Yes I always have it in these areas and it's on my belt. I even carry it on my belt in the car camping video. Wouldn't want to run into a bear without it. Thank you so much for watching!
Welcome to the PNW, one of my MOST favorite wilderness areas period. Although the rain and chill can get to you especially in old age. You picked a late season hike, thats usually about the time red tomatoes start dropping of the vine, then frost hits and the remainder burst.
The lurkers are rare but around, I've had one experience with one outside Clatscanie, OR. Shining headlights into pickup camper, lurking then pealing off spitting gravel on my truck. Hard not to shoot back, if you don't nip that behavoir in the bud they'll harrass somebody else as well. No brains, no life and way too much time on their hands. He may have been scouting your vehicle, looking for a solitary female or just playing stupid mind intimidation games. It always P.O.'s me but you don't want a confrontation unless you can back it up. Hate to say it, but you did the right thing.
I always stealth camp anymore, have most my life. People can pass 15-20' away and not know you there, but a little distance is better. If you can hear or see your neighbors they're too close!👍
Forest maps of the areas make a big difference in your exploration and planning.
Thanks for watching Dan! And think you're right as well
Hope you hit 50k soon bro!
Me too bud 🤞
Wow. Go figure. Sam Bananas finally has some banana flavored hooch. 👍 It's about time. Enjoy. Being out in the rain means you get to enjoy nocturnal animals during the day.
Woo hoo!
Another great video, Sam. Thanks for sharing. If you ever get to come back to washington, check out the North Cascades above Carbonado. There are dispersed camping spots and wonderful views of Mt. Rainier.
100% next I'm there for sure
I think your problem with your red camp stove is that you set the burner down below those three bent out spots. The rim is supposed to set on those so you're a quarter inch lower than where you should be cuz you set it completely down onto the stump itself. Take it out and set it onto the three bent out partitions that hold it and if they if it falls through then you need to bend them in a little bit.
The way you have it set up is for simmering.
I have a new holder for it now, works great. The main problem was the type of file I was using. Should have been using denatured alcohol
@@CampingwithSamBananas
Oh yeah Sam. You don't want to use anything other than denatured alcohol.
You can use 91% rubbing alcohol, but then it's going to leave a film blackness onto your pot. You don't want that! Denatured alcohol burns very very clean.
I'm glad you solved that dilemma.
We made a lot of those naan pizzas with the toaster oven.
I think that's about the only thing we ever used the toaster oven for actually.
Haha fair 🤣
I love it that you camped in the state I live in! I'm on the eastern side and we have nice camping around here as well. Have you ever hiked the Pacific Crest Trail? I did it many years ago at the summit of Snoqualmie Pass. Was just a day hike as a bad storm was coming through. Over in eastern Washington, we have the Kettle Crest Trail, and it is a nice hike near Sherman Pass. Haven't done a lot of hiking the past few years as I was going through cancer treatments. I'm in remission nearly three years but tire easily still. Hope to go camping sometime this summer.
Glad to hear you are on the road to recovery. Stick with it my friend. Consider car camping in the meantime 👍
Getting a fire starter in the rain is the worst. LOL 😹
Haha it really is tough
Man is living the dream
Trying brother 👊
If you’re going to do YT full time I would say you did it right- make your initial full time content creator video exploring Washington. Sights are spectacular!
It really is beautiful there. I hope to go back soon.
26:27 million dollar view well worth a trip
❤️
It wouldn’t be an adventure if things went as planned Sam. You survived the typical Northwest Forest!
🫡
Happy your back sam
Thank you!!
Sorry about the knife . But thanks for the info on the tang. Hey. Do a bone handle knife. All you need is one shed of a deer. Re-qwench the blade in oil. The put in oven at 450 for two hours then fix handle. Might even be better. Red hot quench . Then temper in oven.
All good, I got a new one, they are only like $20. In laws got it for me for Christmas
