@PowerCertAnimatedVideos @TechyDruid Although I can access my PC data into my mobile, but I'm still unable to play a video using mx player. The reason why I wanted to connect ftp server is just to watch movie even its in the Laptop's storage instead of my mobile which has only 32GB.
Thank you for your hard work, Very easy to follow and understand. It is easy to have a mental image of how these devices work now. Please keep adding to them.
Hi, i like ur videos very much. I am also a creator. I have video editing skills but dont have graphical /animated skills like you. If u dont mind i want to know which software using for this making of videos.for editing and animation. I am expecting +ve replay from ur side. Thank you, Sam India
I had a question that I didn't know the answer to so I had to google it, just in case anyone needs the answer. The basic difference between HTTP and FTP is that HTTP is used to access different websites on the internet. On the other hand, the FTP is used to transfer files from one host to the another. HTTP establishes data connection only whereas, the FTP establishes data as well as control connection
Your channel is very instructive. It is a re-education even for people who may learnt some of these things in the schools. Many thanks for the lucid explanation.
I have never such a beautiful way of teaching...whatever you are saying,explaining...is crystal clear....thanks will be a very short payback to you...but that's all I have....best way of explaining....i should recommend it to everyone...who are new to networking...even who are experienced those can also try...
I like the way you explain your informations. My first language is not english, but I have no problem to understand what you are saying. Thanks alot for this video.
Strictly speaking, the "ftp" in your example is simply the hostname. ftp.example.com is the "fully qualified name" of that computer. To specify the protocol in a browser, you would type, ftp://ftp.example.com - otherwise the browser will assume the http protocol (since a browser is primarily a hypertext protocol client). The fact that the browser senses the protocol used by the site is secondary to the discussion. But pointing to the hostname and saying that it was like the in a URL is inaccurate.
You should have mentioned the differnce between SFTP and FTPS (FTP over TLS). In this video you make people think SFTP is the encrypted version of FTP. But it's not. SFTP is based on SSH and FTPS is based on FTP.
Excellent point. It's key to remember our standards are the RFC documents (www.ietf.org/standards/rfcs/). There is no RFC for 'Secure FTP'. There was a draft version of the proposal; however, it was never confirmed. FTP over TLS is a published standard.
I like af this video, even to me that my main language is Spanish. Tomorrow I will have a training with my manager about it and now I feel prepared. Thank you.
Lol i laughed at this comment because you said " thanks for WASTING your precious time..." kind of harsh and nice lol. That's kind of ambiguous to say "wasting" and "precious".

Still weird to call TCP "Guaranteed delivery" when all it does is resend cached packets and ask for receipts. It's not guaranteed it can still fail if the connection fails...just like UDP is not unreliable, it just doesn't have a built-in receipt system. Variable bandwidth and smaller headers don't make it any less reliable...

He said that it is secure shell based in the video.
Thank you for the clarification though. It would have gone over my head had you not mentioned it.
I'm new to this but to be fair, it's not that confusing, the clue is in the name.
