Really made me think my headphones were broken LMFAO
Haha sorry, downside of shooting this with an iPhone - it shot it in mono. Too late to fix it now though lol
I ended up getting the pro! Thanks for the help
Oh thank god!!!! I was really sad that my headphones broke 😂😂😂
me too! I ended up restarting phone and reinstalling youtube 😂
Stupid iPhone...again Apple doing things "their way 👎"
Omg i though that my headphones were broken 😂😂😂
Will the attachment fit on the regulare one blade? I see they're options to buy it separately.
Very nice channel! Randomly found it today and have been loving the videos! This is also very helpful to me for picking the OneBlade by Philips finally. My old Philips trimmer has to retire. The only downside is that after some research I found out that the so called NORELCO products is pretty much a line-up of products only in the US. In other parts of the world there doesn't seem to be Norelco Philips products, but I also seem to fail to understand the difference between Norelco Philips and regular Philips products. I see there's changes in the model serial numbers but apart from that I don't know if there's any other physical difference.
Thanks and glad you found it! Yeah I really like this! Interesting about the "NORELCO" line. Maybe it's just a branding thing for different regions?
I bought one today. I have the first version but the PRO is better in my opinion. I stopped shaving with blades because of skin irritations. This PRO shaves perfect, it charges to a 100 % within the hour and not expensive to purchase ( € 69,- including 2 blades and a travel case ).
Thanks for the input - I do agree that I don't get any skin irritation with this blade at all which is nice!
Hey, sorry about annoying you but I have one question. I bought King C Gillete style master trimmer. I have not yet used it on my beard. I never had longer beard because areas where it would not grow (where mustache should be) hairs are not nearly as strong as the one on my face below cheek bones.
Nevertheless, should I buy Philips One Blade Pro, or One Blade 360 today?
I want to have that one - so please just give me strait answer between One Blades, whic one should I go for?
FYI, I clean shave with Gilette proglide, and so far that has been the best blade for me.
Now I'm on the market for trimmers.
I know that I have one already, but I think that I might have bought the wrong one.
What say you?
@@dalibork I think you can buy either the normal or the pro version the 360 is just a blade type.
How close is shave compared with cartridge razor? I need to choose between Philips and Panasonic Arc 5 because my skin is sensitive and i have bad shaving technique so i don't want to use manual razor anymore. Panasonic is surely better but if i order it from Amazon for delivery i need to pay 60 $ more so i'm interesting is Philips oneblade worth buying as my first electric razor or to choose Panasonic?
Check out the demo I did using this here: ruclips.net/video/E_wfHNYQJHE/видео.html

Is this good for shaving down to 5 o’clock shade/stubble?
I’ve personally invested heavily financially and practically in shaving. Here’s what I’ve found based on years of experience looking for shave I want. (I want the smoothest quick shave without getting ingrown hairs or irritation.)
1) Annually, with daily shaving, the Oneblade will cost the same as buying the Braun Series 9 with cleaning cartridges replacing the cleaning cartridge solution every 19 cycles (I took over two weeks to count exactly how many cycles until the light turns on.)
2) The Philips Norelco OneBlade doesn’t provide the closest shave when “close” is defined by the length of hair protruding from the skin. However, “smoothness” I have found the OneBlade can provide (with extra work) a shave nearly as smooth as a Double Edge Safety Razor. This is all from my experience, not the opinions of others.
3) Using Leftric Shave or another electric pre-shave will make this even smoother.
If your goal is the closest shave, the Gillette Fusion 5 should be the winner because it will cut under the skin, but that’s a problem. Cutting under the skin produces ingrown hairs. Don’t get me wrong, the experience of taking a warm shower followed by shaving against the grain with a new Gillette Fusion 5 ProGlide using the Gillette Fusion ProGlide Sensitive 2 in 1 Shave Gel is AMAZING. (Assuming you didn’t break out in ingrowns the next day.) But you know, like I do, that those sharp, amazing shave experiences don’t last very long on those blades.
In my experience, the way to get an oil-covered baby butt dish soap lathered slip and slide smooth shave is using a double-edge safety razor. The best part is you don’t get breakouts. It takes time to learn, but I go against the grain nearly everywhere on its face every time I shave and am never disappointed by blade performance. Double edge safety razors are much sharper, profoundly cheaper, and easy to learn.
Totally agree - this isn't going to give you the closest shave, but it's really comfortable for me because it's less irritating and it still gets pretty close. Thanks for the in depth assessment!
@Jimmy Langer Sounds like that's best for your needs!
Hey man, thanks a lot for the comment and the important info. Definitely know the struggle of trying to find the best way to shave. I'm going to try out this sort of shaver now and hopefully, it is what I've been missing 😁
How is this for daily shaving?
Do you think it's possible to buy adjustable head and plug it to the regular version of one blade? (QP2521 for example?) I mistakenly bought the regular version and now trying to find a solution to upgrade it to pro.
That is something I am unsure of unfortunately. Hopefully someone will chime in!
Somebody knows what in the world is that hole in the back part of the shaver? Not the charging port in the bottom, but one little hole near from the top to where you attach the blade. Mine is leaking some white grease out of it
maybe a drain.
the prices are so weird for some reason this was cheaper than the standard ones so I went with this
Awesome product lov it✨️
I did not know that Philips OneBlade had a Pro version as well. I think I have the 'standard' one, and I do get the charger with it. Maybe in your country, they do not sell it with the charger. I don't know...
Nice are you liking it still?
please can u tell me, can i use the adjustable thing to use it on my sideburns (kind of a fade)
You can within the length settings of the guard, so as long as you don't want them really long I think that would work out for you
Hi. Could you tell me on thing? I have mark on my bernard I'm Wonder if I could use philips one blade.
You have a mark? You mean like a birth mark?
I've got the Pro too, but it's different. It has an LCD display for battery SOC and it has 120 mins of working time not 90.
Hmm yeah seems like from other comments this is an updated Pro model I guess
@@tpassmedia Pro with no number LED is the 2022 version the most upto version.
@@humansrants1694 The most up to date one is the one without the display numbers and with lesser battery time?
Edit: Also, what about this 360 one? Is that supposed to be the 2023 model?
I returned mine for a rotary style razor. Had it for less than a month and the blade wear indicator was already showing. And found out replacement blades are $28 no thank you
I dont see the point with the Pro. Never tried it but I'm perfectly happy with the regular Oneblade, which is half the price. The main advantage I see with the oneblade is how close to zero you come when you shave without a guard. You also dont need any shaving gel and it causes no irritation or scars, which makes it very convenient and easy. With guard its pretty crap so then I use my hair clipper.
The no irritation is definitely the best aspect of this OneBlade for sure!
One blade bro does the same thing but you have more length if you want to trim your beard and longer battery life
Superb bro no lag in vedio
Thank you!
Do you know what length the razor cuts to? Is is 0.2mm?
0.5mm
I wonder, could i use that attachment for shaving my head? ohhh I must know, I will buy it soon :). I already saw a video before about how well it shaves and it is smooth looking and I really like it. I am getting razor burn now from the one I use to shave my head and face and need a change now :). Great video :)
Yeah I don't see why not! It's a *pretty* close shave but not as close as a traditional razor so if your'e getting irritation then I think this could be a good option for you. The attachment this comes with wouldn't allow you to keep your hair very long but if you keep it short then it could definitely work for your head too. Thanks for watching!
Philips themselves advise not to use the oneblade for your head that's the job of their Multigroom line which is thankfully in a similar price range
should do a comparison of this pro model to the old pro model.
I wasn't even aware of the older Pro model. I will have to check that out!
I use the cheap version on my face and use a Merkur safety razor on my neck, I prefer visible stubble on my face the one blade is good for that if you shave the night before.
That's a good use for the look you want for sure!
I do not know for the pro, if it is a different blade? for my part, a blade lasts me one month max if I shave 3 times a week, I do not understand how it could last 4 months unless to have hair of teenager!
That could be part of it 🤣
The other version you have to charge it for 4 hours for only 60 minutes of use
In peoples avg use how often does the blade need to be replaced. That might be the reason why i buy or pass and go with another option
I actually just made this video on that this past week: ruclips.net/video/GVSpguB8ggs/видео.html
What store is the pro sold at?
You can get it here on Amazon (affiliate): amzn.to/3hcsapI
That's where I purchased it from!
1:33 can u use it with no Guard ?
Yes
My left ear enjoyed this video
You and the 5 other people who beat you to this comment 😝
my left ear loved this hahaha
Now put it in your right ear and play it again haha
it work for your pubes? cause no matter how many times i try to use fresh razor blades on any gillete razor ill still get red itchy bumps. i dont get it. its like theres no other way around that.
I haven't tried that but it would work great on the flatter areas. I'd be careful around loose skin because it can definitely still catch there.
(with the guard on you'd be fine)
@@tpassmedia i meant shaving it completely.
works for the body??
Yeah you can use it for that as well. Might want to set the guard appropriately for certain areas to be safe but you could definitely use this with no guard on your chest for example.
This product feels like playing with cheat codes on, I'm telling you. 👏
Haha, glad you like it
You could also use it wet while your face is lathered up with soap or foam?
Yes you certainly can! Making a video on it right now actually based on yours and some other questions!
Here's the demo with shaving cream: ruclips.net/video/wgB8aGSiZys/видео.html
Which is better the pro or the 360??
The newer 360 Face is cheaper but it has a NiMH vs Li-Ion battery. The lifespan in a NiMH battery is typically 2.5-3 yrs or 500 charge cycles vs the 5 years/1000 cycles in a Li-Ion battery like in the Pro. The usage time and charge time is also pretty different. In the 360, the usage time/charge time is 45 min/8 hrs vs 90 min/1 hr in the Pro. The guard you get is also a lot shorter on the 360 version (5mm max vs 9mm on the Pro). I just got the 360 to test out actually. These are the models I'm referencing (affiliate links):
Pro: amzn.to/4cbLuyB
360: amzn.to/49UeZmW
Is the engine power compared to the first version better, worse or the same?
My left ear liked this video a lot.
My brain liked reading this comment for the 10th time 😵💫
Can you get a close shave with it?
It's not safety razor close or even other razor close, but to me it's more convenient and good enough. The whole premise of this OneBlade is that there's a buffer so as to not irritate you as much and not nick you (which does work great). The result is that it isn't baby's bottom smooth but it looks good in my opinion and doesn't bother me ever.
@@tpassmedia Thank you. Keep growing.
Really intimidating to only hear you through my left speaker as if you're sitting right next to me xD
Lol sorry about that. Power move.
If it uses the same blade, it’s going to cut very similarly
True - but with this pro version you get the extra attachment guard with more settings and better battery life though. Over time, the price difference is worth it to just go with the Pro version IMO.
kind of prefer lithium battery nih battery so 1980
FYI the audio is all out of the left channel :D
I know lol, you're not the first to say that. Too late now though haha. Thanks for watching!
@@tpassmedia hehe must be bored of hearing about it now! Great razor, enjoyed the video, thank you
My left ear enjoyed this 😂
You and the other thousand people who commented that before you 😆
0:28 mine goes from 0.4 to 10
Do the blades really last for up to 4 months?
I think it depends on your shaving habits a bit but for someone like me, yes. If you have a thick beard and regularly shave your stubble each day, maybe not. I am still super happy with it however and it causes me ZERO irritation.
not much more, lol
I went to a local store, the PRO version was 4-5x times more expensive than the regular.
Dang... that's a lot higher than the difference between them on Amazon when this came out lol
@@tpassmedia iirc there was a sale on the most basic oneblade with a single attachment, it went for $28 and the pro were ranging from $101 to $152 depending which one you bought as apparently they all had their little differences, like which attachment they came with.
Just a question not about the razor but your glasses 😂 what make are they please.
lol - Zenni optical actually. They're an online site and you put in your prescription and they ship to you. I think they were these ones exactly: www.zennioptical.com/p/acetate-plastic-rectangle-eyeglass-frames/1251?skuId=125118
bad razor doesnt cut well keeps hairs (im happy with my Gillette King C safety razor smooth shaves)
Glad you found something that works great for you. I'm pretty happy with this one still.
0:17 i cant figure out or find anywhere online how to attach this f*cking wheel so it'll stay on
How to Properly Attach the Philips OneBlade Pro Guard!
🤔hmmmmmm,
Most definitely it is a nice little razor blade there's no question about it.
the one thing i don't like about it, is the fact you cannot get a really good close shave with it at all. At least with a Gillette razor blade you can get a really close shave.
Gillette are ethically out of the question for me, after their ‘The Best Men Can Be’ campaign.
It's a bit of a trade-off for sure - for me, I think it gets plenty close without giving any irritation at all or nicks so I'm pretty happy with it still. I will occasionally touch up other areas with my razor blade when I want a really smooth shave.
Haha I forgot about that @Mike
@@Mike-gd4zd you mean "be less of a man" ad? It got me triggered too..
I mean…electric razors are a convenience tool that don’t get as close as sharp blades from manual razors. It’s not a fault of this razor. The only way to cut shorter with an electric razor is the spinning foil type which can cause ingrown hairs.
I think you should invest in a pro mic.
I have one now but thanks
=))))))
All of the 3 different versions look the same . . .
Different attachments and different battery life as explained
why are you in my left ear
Just too loud
It's not too bad IMO
That attachment is horrible. Completely ruins the whole reason to have a small trimmer.
For me, I don't use that attachment daily anyway so I usually end up just taking the main trimmer with me on shorter trips. I have thrown the other attachment in my Dopp kit or top pouch on my backpack with other items though and it has held up fine actually.
I’ve seen people using this with no guard on to shave daily I don’t get why ? When the is Bruan series 9 pro or Panasonic arch 5 or 6 .which give off a way better shave than this garbage one blade
🤷
Bro I shave my head bald & my beard, you wasted your money
So I should shave all of my hair off?
👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Thanks for watching!
