    I, for one, am glad to see this illness brought into the open. My husband died of this disease five years ago, and I have spent the better part of those years trying to recover from the experience of living with the personality changes he underwent. Thank you, Nicholas Cage.

    im 32 and i fear i may have ftd dementia though still undiagnosed,but the symptoms have progressed to a moderately severe stage already.....
    the irony of finding out theres a movie about this disease and its acted by the guy from lord of war.....

    I wish I had that doctor, I’m in the “entering the really crazy stage”. I haven’t had a doctor be that kind, I’m 49 with teenage kids. This disease is terrible to everyone.

      I agree this doctor is much better than the ones I’ve had. He was so accurate with the symptoms. Sounds like he was describing me.

    In fact, it's CTE (Chronic Traumatic Encephalopathy).

      It's a little different but probably not much. CTE can only be diagnosed postmortem.
