My favorite videos are trash to treasure or upcycled items. I love to see things repurposed. I have been a thrift shopper for years, and turned many pieces into functional, new looking furniture. While I also like the DT item crafts, the items are not always available at my store. (Or they aren’t something I really need, or my decor style.) Watching gives me lots of inspiration and fuels my creativity. So keep on doing what you like to do! 😊

I absolutely LOVE Dollar Tree craft ideas!! I’ve made so many inexpensive crafts, I especially loved making pillows using the rugs!! I love watching organizational videos using Dollar Tree items!! Cricut hacks using Dollar Tree items is a lifesaver!!!
I don't have a Dollar Tree but I love DT diys. There are so many great ideas, that I can sometimes recreate with Walmart things. But upcyled diys makes it harder to find the items. Hearing your grandma's glue gun story warmed my heart. I inherited her glue gun, and there was nothing more awesome than to craft with it.
I will always watch Dollar Tree DIYS, I've seen some pretty amazing things crafted from DT items. But I do more trash to treasure for myself because it's so satisfying to make something new out of something old and worn out. So I would have to say I like watching trash to treasure videos better than DT DIY videos. ❤

Oh Man, How can I pick?? My family are major thrifters!! I believe that 85 to 90% of my wardrobe is thrifted clothes!! That is the place we shop most! Now the Dollar Tree was the place I shopped often when I loved in Michigan. I so miss the Dollar Tree stores!! Hawaii does not have Dollar Tree or dollar store for that matter at all!! I have enjoyed watching Dollar store DIY's during this time to see the new items they carry now. It has also helped me to be creative in what I can find here on Hawaii Island to make goodies that I see here! Thank you!

I like diys period. It does not matter whether it is trash to treasure, DT, upcycles. When I see a diy, I first look at what I have on hand. Sometimes after seeing a DT diy, I will use something from my recycling bin.

Great tip for cutting vinyl with the paper cutter in the beginning of your video. I struggle with cutting straight lines, especially on vinyl! I am definitely gonna have to invest in a paper cutter! As for your question, I love both DT DIY'S and trash to treasure. However, if I'm watching a video with the intention of recreating something, I find it's usually easier to recreate a DT item vs trash to treasure. Where I live, we only have 1 thrift store and not a lot of "good stuff" in that store. So, I would have to say DT videos are best for the purpose of recreating. I also just wanted to thank you for all of your ideas in this video, as well as the giveaway!
