Artemis is a big show rocket and not meant for commercial launches, efficiency is least of its concerns. On the point of adding to complexity, thats a choice of the chooser. After all rocket design is a choice between compromises and ISRO has made that choice in the past. Its the PSLV. 6 Strapons 4 stages. Thats complex
Recently ISRO has done some semicrayogenic engine test , on which you also made a video but finally when this engine will be available to isro for launch.
