      what do that have to do with the rain? India doesnt have any high rises and if they did, its definitely not beautiful to they get flooded yearly.. California was being flooded for a month and even had landslides so again , what do the buildings have to do with being flooded and it raining

      yeah, blocking the natural flow of water with concrete/infrastructure is still the main problem with flooding in most cases

    • @lovehemp4953
      @lovehemp4953 Год назад

      It definitely is these people building their infrastructure against nature. Then. They rely on that bugus drainage system to take out that water. So now everytime it rains the water has no where to go.

    A major component to all this flooding is the fact that mist of the drains in Miami and Miami beach don't get cleaned out. I spent months wall around the cities and noticed this. Many to drains are full of garbage, leaves, and sand that they clog very easy. The city maintenance plan of waiting for drains to back up and then sending the vacuum trucks to suck it all out is not a good plan.

    How will climate change affect Florida in the future?
    “Sea levels at different points along the coast will likely rise by 8 to 12 inches above today’s levels by 2040. As a result, coastal flooding will become more frequent. For example, severe “100-year-floods” will soon hit St. Petersburg once every few years rather than once a century. Statewide, such flooding endangers about 300,000 homes, 2,500 miles of roadways, 30 schools, and 4 hospitals.
    Climate change will also increase mortality risk across the state. By 2040, higher temperatures are projected to cause more than 1,000 deaths each year due to higher risks of cardiovascular and cerebrovascular disease. These diseases are exacerbated by extreme temperatures.
    Our findings also show that hurricanes will become more severe, saltwater intrusion will degrade water quality, disease carriers like mosquitoes will spread, and Florida’s iconic citrus industry will be affected by changing temperatures that in turn, alter the risks of citrus greening disease.”
