Hey @elhombre2996! The "manipulate" process skill is when you manipulate a mathematical expression or equation or inequality to be able to make working with it easier. For example, if I ask you to give me the value of the square of 99, what would you do? If you're considering doing (100-1)^2, then that is manipulation right in action! You manipulated 99 into 100-1 to make calculations easy. Hope this helps :) Happy Learning!
Good job clearly writing this down, @shrutisharma7964! Now that you know your gaps, you also know what exactly you need to work on. Here is my feedback: 1. LQ1 - TRANSLATE - You could not translate to mathematically express the difference of two 3-digit numbers abc - cba. To do this, you need to be able to write any number in Expanded form. This is needed whenever you want to process (add, subtract etc) numbers that are expressed using digits. 2. LQ2 - INFER - This is a skill we taught in another video too. Understand that when a product, say PQ, is divisible by a number N, and P had no factor common with N, then Q must be divisible by N. Example: 12 x 5 is divisible by 4 and clearly, 5 is not divisible by 4. So, 12 is divisible by 4. 3. LQ4 - CONSTRAINTS - You need to read each word in the question and make sure you note down all constraints. This will make sure you do not miss using them in your solution. 4. LQ5 - CONCEPT - This will come comfortably once you are solid with the concepts of Permutations and Combinations. Good luck! Best, Shweta
Thanks for the wonderful question
