Thank you for championing Procol Harum time and again. A great but not as well known band as they deserved to be that consistently produced great and near great rock records for adults (no 20-something philosophizing from them).

I always say that E.L.O. is the most highly UNDERRATED band in all of Rock history. They don’t even get much airplay. Seems they always take the backseat to everyone else! I love them and have all of their albums and 45’s.

Also saw U2 on the Boy tour in KC. They were not old enough to drink 😅. They also did not have enough songs to fill out a set list so they played some of the songs twice. Uptown Theater on Broadway.

I was a huge U2 fan at one time. I still appreciate some of their albums but unfortunately their music has not aged well. It was good for the time but not so much now.

I recall U2 getting backlash due to an "auto-download" issue. I don't remember the name of the album, but several years ago Apple music or Apple Store, permitted U2 to force download their newest record at the time-to every single user-no matter if you were a fan or not! I didn't mind it, it felt like a nice thing the band did-they gave away their newest record digitally for free! People lost their mind over it! People complained about Bono's arrogance, but honestly, it was a first world problem, you know-no good deed goes unpunished type thing. It was scandalous, and I think it got to the point in which U2 was forced to apologize. Thanks for the videos.....JC

One of the great records of our time, Bjork - Homogenic. Actually, Bjork hasn't really made a bad or even mediocre album, everything has some merit or borders on great. Another of my pointless opinions.
Keep an eye out for electric sharks! Thank you, Mr. Maslov.

Jeff Lynne joined The Move for 'Looking On' and 'Message From The Country', but unfortunately Roy Wood left after the first (self-titled) Electric Light Orchestra album and so wasn't around for all the success that started in '73 with ELO II. Roy Wood's career is worthy of considering though, both solo and with his band Wizzard. Check out 'Why Does a Pretty Girl Sing Such Sad Songs' off Mustard: a one man Beach Boys fronted by Carl Wilson. The title track is like a lost Andrews Sisters number. Strange and enticing at the same time...

Ah, the Move. Me and a couple of my pals went all in in the mid seventies. It seemed like no one else knew about them. They were our private obsession. We followed them into ELO and Roy Wood’s Wizzard. Boulders by Roy Wood is essential. I lost the thread when Lynne started getting sterile sounding in his productions for himself and others. Too glossy. And his songs really became derivative in later years, not that he wasn’t always derivative, but I forgave him in the first few albums. Eldorado? Excellent. And I actually met Jeff in the seventies when his entourage dropped into the Jersey Turnpike rest stop where I worked. He was a tad standoffish. Maybe I shouldn’t have asked him how Roy Wood was doing? “You should ask him” came his reply. “Wow I hope this guy stays away from The Beatles” I thought. 🤓🤓🤓🤓🤓 Love, Kazzy

London Records in the US often used the parent company Decca's pressing plants in the UK for both singles and albums. These records have either "MADE IN ENGLAND" or "MADE IN ENGLAND BY THE DECCA RECORD CO LTD." at the top of the label with a standard London logo and catalog number. Several American Rolling Stones albums on London (particularly earlier ones) can be found as Decca pressings but had sleeves made in the US. The track listings conformed to the US editions.

Achtung Baby is my favorite U2 album. I haven’t heard The Move since the early 70’s. I didn’t care for them. I liked the first few ELO albums but soured on them. Bjork can be great but she can be crappy too.
